I think anyone would be hard pushed to argue that a small soft plastic like a grub on a small single barbless hook was not the same as a fly. One is feather and fur the other plastic.

Amazing video, unfortunately people that fish in Portugal(not fisherman) are disgusting and we don't have that many trout anymore(they take everything in the bag to show the wife and throw on the trash at home). But i've been using small soft plastics for chub since you made the micro jig video and you can't imagine what a small variation in color can make, i started with red it was good, passed to pink it was awful, purple with flakes is insane i'm fishing even in the dog days that no one gets no bites, just ordered a boat load of color variation on Aliexpress to see if there any more variations or a change on the winter months.
