I learned a long time ago that in order to make an instrument sound bad ass, you must to put it in some bad ass hands. You, my friend, have some bad ass hands.
Wow thanks so much David. Very kind
Its a maximum fun to hear that there is real music yet...thank you Lachy....I'm your 75 years old fan from Germany and I by myself have played the D6 in many studios.
My pleasure mate. Thanks unreal. So glad you dig it. The clav is such an underrated keyboard. I love it!
i am 60
got the thrill with this
thank u
@@LachyDoley
man oh man...
Put the hammond underneath your tremolo apperture, and use both sounds together by chance...
By soloing, cauto hammond sound
Wow, great stuff. Who needs a guitahhh when a rod and loads of passion does the job? lol. Unique player.
This is how a keyboard player turns heads in a Guitar World!
incredible musicians you are (all of you) but you have to mention the sound guys because it sounds so good!
Cheers Alain. Yeah these guys are killer. Stefan Du Randt did an awesome job recording us. Then I mixed it at home :-)
I just discovered your channel today, and all I can say is, WOW!!! I am so glad to hear there is REAL music from REAL musicians that play with genuine passion for their craft. And the folks your collaborate wit are all top notch to boot! Please keep doing what you do, and thank you all for sharing gifts! 🤘🤘
Yay thanks so much Brian. I'm lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing musicians
WOW! I just discovered this very talented artist. I don't know if this old D6 Clavinet needs repair after each concert, it gets all its body shaken ! Same thing for the Hammond C3 and what a killer sound! The Hammond C3 at its best. Masterful! Incredible musicians who make me love the blues even more. The chord at 4:22 kills me. Greetings from Quebec
thats the deepest snare known to man! Big up the drummer, draws you in with basics and gradually gets more tricky, Peart stylie!!
Yeah Jackie is killer and that fat snare is just sweet
@@LachyDoley not too shabby yourself Lachy!
Cheers Rik, Glad you dig it!
Awesome. My friend loves keyboards and told me to look for this.
Glad I have great music.
Love it.
A WHAMMY BAR ON AN ORGAN?!? who da thunk?
Amazing. He's always been great, but somehow Lachy Doley keeps on getting better and better. Somehow we have to get the guys at Daptone House of Soul get the whole band in for a session . . .
Cheers Neal. Yeah that would be awesome!
This is real music. Cheers from Brazil.
Cheers :-)
In my 62 years on this planet I have never before seen a keyboard with a Stratocaster whammy bar. Well done, sir!
Cheers Steve. It's a wild instrument
🇧🇷🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Man I wish I could emulate some of those chords and double stop tones you’re pulling with that thing! What an interesting sound. You’re fantastic!!
Cheers David. Glad you dig it
so so sooooooooooo good, I'm curious how many times you have broken that HoHner. I don't think you can buy one of those anymore. It's sad that this style of music is dying out. Lachy might be the last of the greats!
Like how the top woobles when he cranks the whamy bar. It looks like it could fall apart every moment 😂. Lachy is a true One of a kind. He rivals both the best Keyboardists AND Guitarists with this setup. Don't think there is ANY non Jazz Hammond players that comes even CLOSE to his skills on a keyboard. And what a marvelous recording. If I could bet on which Instrument would be most likely to break during a concert the Odds for the Hohner gotta be pretty low 🤣
World class blues band. Best wishes moving forward. May there be many gigs in the future, and boy would I love to hear you cats live. Thanks for the post.
Woo thanks so much Tony!! My pleasure
Fucking AWESOME!!!!!!
Killer vibe brother!

Hi Lachy, Jan here from South Africa. Man o man, what an amazing discovery for me, I found your music a few months ago on you tube. This is wicked stuff man, footstompin' all the way. Never knew what a clav was, I had to let my son know about your amazing vibes. Please keep it up!
That's awesome Jan. Glad you dig it and that's for sharing it with your son too
Killer Lachy!! Great groove my man. That’s the shit!!!
Hey thanks so much Duncan :-)
Mate you are awesome. I'm going to the Caloundra music festival just to see you and I can't wait.
Woo Hoo!!!! See you there
Outstanding, Lachy! Great performances all around. Killer tight band. Loved the solo! Cheers, mate!

Best virtual gig of the year. Great stuff!
Wow cheers
This deserves more views
Got your new Album today Lachy, awesome mate. 👌
Unreal. Cheers Gary
I keep getting goose bumps whenever I listen to your music, Lachy. I play bass in a four-piece German instrumental band called "The McSonics", Hammond, guitar, drums & bass. Keep on doin whatcha do coz it's great!!!
Wow thanks Jens. Best of luck with your band
Hell's bells. Awesome! What a great band.
Cheers. I love playing with these guys
tremendo tremendo muy bueno
I could NOT sit still sitting if in the audience. I would have been up dancing or something!!!!
Legendary, Lachy
Just discovered you mates, and can’t stop listening to you. You got my funk loving blues soul rockin’!!! ✌🏻💚
Awesome! Thank you!
Has that audience been drugged? To me that's evidence that earphones concerts do not work. Or are they a bunch of audio engineers? ;)
This is true meaning of music, folk who have a genuine feel and talent for both their instrument and the music. I could truly listen to this all night. It keeps the true spirit of music burning.
Wow cheers Gary
Awesome! How long do your strings on your clav last? You torture them and I love it!
Usually break a string every few gigs
Brilliant👏🙏🇦🇺
I see the Hohner is still getting abused. Just the way I like it.
Always. Poor thing
Unbelievable, I gotta have a whammy on my keyboard now. Wow thanks. I don't think many of those D6 whammy versions were made. I'm not sure but I've seen them before. Awesome music.
Best vibe I've heard in a while. Excellent. .
more soul than Al Kooper
Blowing minds again Lachy
Hey thanks mate
Comme d'habitude, tu as des sons d'enfer avec ton hammond Superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Dude, this was straight up the coolest performance I have seen / enjoyed in years. You Def brought Da Funk to the Blues. New fan 🎶 🤘✌
Wow thanks so much
Damn you... now I can't decide which "Only Cure For the Blues Is the Blues" version I like best!!! :) Guess I'll have to listen to both back-to-back a million times to see if I can figure it out......
Oh no!! There's a few out there now :-)
@@LachyDoley I got hooked on you with "Only Cure For the Blues Is the Blues" from Blues on Broadbeach 2016. I love the Hammond, so I get a lot of recommendations for different bands with the organ. Never heard of you before, and that one song one time did it for me. Raw pure talent on the keyboards AND the vocals. Raw because you have an edge to your voice and you make that Hammond cry from the abuse. And pure talent, because you got it, son (I'm 68, so I can use "son"). Then I saw the one from 2017, with the brass section and the Hohnor solos. I've used those two videos to hook in several other people, too. If they don't see it (most do), I point out the Hohner on the 2016 video, and they're like what the hell is that thing. Then, I love watching their reaction when you hit the Hohnor for the first solo in the 2017 video. They're like, damn man... can't believe what they're hearing and seeing. I have to play the video from you explaining the mod to it so they understand. And, just like me, they want to see and hear ALL of your videos!!! By the way, they are easy for me to find. I created a sub-directory LachyDoley, to put all your videos in so they ARE easy to find. Trying to build up a fan base here in Florida so, if this covid thing EVER ends, we can get you for a concert in the Sunshine State!!! Not an Aussie, but I'll still say "Cheers mate!".
Wow Don. You've gone above and beyond. Thanks so much mate. I really appreciate you spreading the word. I would love to get to florida to play someday soon. Cheers and thanks again.
Lachy
wow che energia!!!!
When you think everything has been said, then someone surprise the audience with something new. Here come Lachy in the blues.

Very cool 🌶🌶🌶
Cheers Antone
Sweet ear candy that tickled the deep happy center parts in my brain just right.
awesome!
Cheers
front row headphone action! classy!!!
Hey! I just got hit by Hurricane Lachy and I wasn't prepared but I will be for the September storm. The horns are cookin'.
Hah Love that!!!
Amazing stuff, what an inspiration! But honestly: Lachey, you deserve a new custom-made (heavy-duty) Clavinet! Probably, the lads at Vintage Vibe could help you out on this. The old Hohner D6 will fall apart one of these days.
Oh that would be nice. It has a few more years left in her :-)
Lachy, please, come to Europe!
Truly outstanding! What more can I say!
Very kind. Cheers Anthony
Good Lord have mercy.
Bien hâte de te revoir au Québec...
