#1 was by far the nicest and most livable, but every single model had a Stone Age dinette! A small comfortable sofa and a portable table would be a welcome option. A bathroom is also a must. Boon-docking is awesome, but digging a hole in the woods in the pouring 🌧, not so much!
Number 5 is a Northern Lite 10-2 with a fabricated storage attached to the bottom. It looks like this addition costs you an additional 40k over just the camper. I run a Northern Lite 10-2 on my F-350 SRW. I boondock camp in it for 5 to 7 months a year in the mountain states very seldom do I spend any time in campground. It is super comfortable and really well built. I have had it for seven years now and have driven in some extreme areas from the Utah desert to mining roads and crazy mountain passes...it has taken everything I have thrown at it. Great camper....a little more expensive than the standard ones, but light weight and really well built.
I will take my $5500 Northstar 850SC popup camper...cassette toilet, true queen north/south bed, indoor and outdoor shower, 40 gallons fresh, etc...on a full size 4X4 truck it works for what I need...
Fuso is history in North America. With chaos coming in the truck market, like cars, who knows what corporations will take a chance, not to mention, what large non-commerical vehicles will bureaucrats allow U.S.
#1- Pros; Windows over the cab, sleek look when new and hydronic heating, outdoor storage or basement Cons; Price, 80s look, 80s tech, 40s heating, windows over the cab = leaks. That's why they dumped them in the 80s. Sound bar. Observations; They went with the old radiator type hydronic heating but ignored the opportunity to add a cooling tower, and at that price they should have added it. They could have added a popup attic for additional sleeping space to help justify the cost. They added a few upgrades inside to knock their cost up a few hundred and charged >$150k to cover the cost. I am not complaining to you, Glenn, or whomever wrote it up. I just can't shake the impression that they raised the price to ridiculous because some people will pay it simply for bragging rights. I really don't get the point. Someone care to fill me in? I have had a few truck campers and grew up camping in a few. I watched the video twice, thinking i must have spaced out when they talked about what made it awesome but didn't learn anything new the 2nd time through.
That's a Ford American Road truck camper from the 70's it was the follow up to the ford Goldline camper that was a complete failure due to structural problems.
I want a shower and toilet but not for $325 K. That's for the one percenters. I'll make it happen with the $13 K Basecamp, a cassette toilet and wet wipes or wash cloth. I'm guessing those interested in the BCT are also buying tickets for a ride on Blue Origin
Great Video 👍 but for US residents there's much more for us to buy for fraction on the prices from overseas companies and do more, shower a must if your in there more then 4 days #2 pretty Kool because of price USA looks at $ #1 No Way only rich kids buy that package because truck/camper 1 Host & artic fox make the best and Lance is finally joining the team as best truck campers and there all under 65,000

I know that’s not really going to happen but you never know unless you say something. I’ll try just about everything at this point.
Re: the base station. Not many campers that are lifers are looking for more than two berths. This idea of totally removing the pickup bed is a great one. It leaves you Ruth a vehicle that can handle anything
It would be nice to take one of these trucks out for the three months straight living and give you're feed back on the living situation in a environment Like these
I have been wondering for at least 2 years why no one has built that base camp design. Not exactly that but the super tall pop top that way you can still have a low profile driving around
First of all, if you NEED hot water with your shower, you're not Camping... you're GLamping. Secondly, I don't need a shower if there's a lake or a river nearby... pending it's not winter
The 1970s Ford camper special with a longer wheel base for carrying weight hanging off the back of the truck. They also moved the spare from under the tailgate to a compartment on the passenger (USA) side in front of the wheel well this also created room for a second fuel tank. They also made changes to the steering and suspension to help with maneuverability. I am a fan . Don’t know what the camper is.
#1 is exactly what I’m trying to build on my flatbed Tacoma! 😱 I’m using insulating foam & carbon fiber/Kevlar to create the shell, seeing that was great inspiration!

🤔Why you don't have a example like a Pick-Up Ford Raptor 4X4 with a cabine and a option with door from the driver & passenger cabine in to the camper cabine? The back seet could be used for a extra bed! w Why not at botht side a slid out 40 centimeter and a full size pop top with electric powerd from the front driver's cabine until to backside, if some one needs their could be a backside extension for 2 children. Inside must be a full bathrom at the corner from the passenger side behind the cabine! Outside some slideout's for cooking and chair, table and so on. That's just a littel i would like for a full functional outdoor adventeur Camper👍😎

Campers made for lottery winners......We get to watch the video and dream.
Nothing wrong with dreaming, I do it every time I watch these great videos!!!!
yup..but nothing wrong with dream.for me,what you do today is what you feel tomorrow..this is my dream too.
I've watched a lot of videos. I've yet to see one that has a layout with the things I want. I'd rather build my own.
Some of them are overpriced and anyone with a lick of sense will pass.
Average price for a nice used camper is about $5,000+7500 American
Good day a nice rest anywhere travel or assigned area of work no problem to rent a room

If it's hot, outside shower a must. If its cold a couple days won't kill me

I COULD REALLY DO A COUPLE MONTHS IN TN THIS CAMPER
NUMBER 5 IS DEFINATELY WORTH THE LOOK!
