Not really sure if he's really just after her money though. We are actually just left with that question - and the threat from Mr. Mu that he is going to take her away. You can't go by his expression because guy gets that look on his face whenever anyone threatens her period. Personally, I believe he loves her because he was about to confess her identity during the fight but flashed back to the model's threat and reminder that FL would become hysterical upon finding out her beloved mother wasn't her biological mom. This was the only reason he didn't tell her then - because he was afraid of her reaction. I think he didn't tell her prior because he was obviously in love with her after realizing her innocence and was afraid they'd take her away. While rich, ML is relatively of "new money" (the company is only 40 years old) and it sounds like she's from a much more powerful old money family who probably wouldn't be all that impressed by him. At worse, he was trying to hurry up and marry her before anyone objected, imo. There is the scene where he muses to himself that he loves her when he's completely alone in the car and a vague scene where he gets a phone call earlier in the drama which in hindsight, one might realize this must be when he obtained her background information. Since it had already been suggested he'd fallen for her prior, I was left with the impression he didn't quite know what to do. But I also could be wrong. That's why we need a part 2!!! I personally believe if we got one it'd be about him having to prove his love to her and her real family (since his actions look so bad) while at the same time trying to fight against Mr. Mu and protect her from any outside forces that wished the sole heir had just stayed missing. Also, didn't anyone else find it creepy that Mr. Mu is literally trying to replace his dead wife with her? This guy is literally insane with grief.
