You should try Post Scriptum again too after all these years, I loved it and didn't seem to get that much mortars on my head when I was still playing it lol. They say it's dead now but you can still find a full server or 2 to jerk around in I reckon.

At the very end when you were "building" I was expecting a mortar to just nail you out of nowhere in spirit of the rest of the gameplay footage.
Same here man. I was taking shots every time he was getting mortared and I was crying from laughter!

Helpful hint, most players will crank the brightness to 200% on night maps, turns night into day.

Everyone that’s complaining that it’s a “dying” simulator just don’t understand the game just like any other fps there are specific ways to play the most efficiently once you learn not to run out in the open or challenge anything that’s breathing or possibly learn to have common sense you’ll do better and like/ appreciate this game so much more bc honestly it’s the best fps on console rn!!

@@kotton when I Played this game for the first time I did the exact same thing expecting to swim and drowned my self. I think they just did it like this because of the opening battle In saving private Ryan. If I rember rigth they had some soldiers drown in that scene when they jumped in the water

Just spawn camping...artillery and mgs sound great in a game but if you know where people are going to spawn it is a massacre. They need to have an off-map single use that can be used once or twice a game to clear spawn campers and force them to move back or respawn if they stay. That is what would happen in reality. If you have high casualties you saturate the area with artillery and then try again.
Bought this back in Nov 22… returned it after 40 minutes of experiencing identical content to yours. Now I know it’s not just me.

Some rivers you can sprint and jump and you land far enough into the river where you make it out the otherside with about 2 seconds to spare lol! Make sure you have forward pressed down the whole time obviously. Happy Hunting dude

Yeah, that game is brutal. If you manage to not get arty'd to death and even see enemies to fire back at, can be lots of fun.

Mate you need to play with your squad, as lone wolf you have no chance on this game.

Even with a squad it doesn't change the fact that the gameplay just isn't fun. It's fun for a select few people and that's it. If you're in a vehicle, have a machine gun/sniper or are arty then it's fun. Other than that it's just not.

It’s a rough game def gotta be in a server where they re taking it serious “chain of command” to really enjoy veryvwierd paced maybe they should take some of the arty and equipment out I think it would be more fun to play more dependent on infantry

I could never get into this game. It's like squad where if you don't spend all your time in a vehicle you're playing prone simulator waiting for a vehicle to spot you
Yeah, I bought this game directly off their site before Steam and I uninstalled it within 2 days. There were parts of it I liked but there was far too much wrong with the core that I just couldn't get into it. I shouldn't have to look for fun and teamwork. I shouldn't need (at the time) to join a discord or something to find that. It just wasn't worth it.

my first game was also on this map at night getting constantly killed on a single point. If one team starts to win, usually its just a steamroll. Sadly with the state of the game now it feels like the dev team gave up. Anticheat doesnt really work either, ive seen plenty of spinbotters in HLL
Agreed and people walling or ESP on Arty. Such losers that do that.
It's such an underrated game. Definitely top 5 fps for me

I found front line fighting really frustrating. defending an objective is more fun, or workin on an artillery team was fun.

I bought the game a couple years ago and to this day I still wonder what the F was I expecting Im getting myself into :D Spent only couple of hours in it, mostly dying as well, had some great moments as well, but so little it just made me stop playing.
I have no idea if this is one of those "get good" games, but I really dont think so, since I like the pain in Dark Souls for example, wayyy more :D
Obviously this is just clips, but from what was shown in the video.. Without an officer in your squad you can't have a faster spawn point, comms are also so important so if you're in a squad with neither, you're not going to have a good game. It doesn't matter if it's day/night or whatever map. If you don't have those it's going to be rough.

Really need to get in a good squad who communicates and builds effective outposts on this game
Yeah but games that are years old have a relatively small dedicated player base that are so far ahead of every new player that is ruins the experience for new players. Kotton is a decent fps player, a person who might stream the game, and he hates the game. Something is wrong when experienced fps players can't find a minute of enjoyment.
@orclover2353 I've owned it for a couple months and learned a ton from the clan I am in. We have a blast and all work together. No game is for everyone, but this game blows away any COD or MW.
@@thomasmickle7289 Game will slowly die without new players, and it is just the nature of more realistic shooters that the gap between veterans and new players becomes so massive that new players can't enjoy it enough to stay with the game. Doesn't matter how realistic or well made the game is, in fact the better the game the more dedicated the veterans will become, and the bigger the tactics gap, it isn't even skill because a player can be a good fps player and not have fun. And I am not even talking about exploits, hackers, and spawn camping. I suppose this is why stupid ass games like COD and fortnite rule and "better" games eventually die.
if u wanna get away from at least half the hackers play official severs if u can ever get in one. i gave up on this game after a couple years cause nothing was being done about it and officials was getting harder to find room

you was playing a defensive game mode where you have to hold the lines for the amount of time given. hence why you couldn't push or take the enemy's capture point.

No don't ban artillery, make a recon squad or request your recon squad to hunt the artillery. If you're constantly getting killed by artillery, it's because you or your team are slacking.
I’m an artillery player, and I’ll leave games with 180 kills. Love making things go boom

Awesome game but they really pushed the british update thereby screwing up the sync on hitboxes and esspecially vehicles.....gameplay really got screwed by that but ive seen the devs are aware of this and are trying to fix it so the next update will show if the game will go back to its golden path or continue go down hill.
Seems it was a good choice to buy squad instead.

It takes a lot to get used to. I would look at a guide but once you find your way it’s really fun.
you have to get in good servers with commanders active that coordinate. without voice the game is trash

In 3/4's of the vid - amazing to see how this game is dropping like a rock. I used to play HLL rarely because I needed to be in the mood for lots of VOIP - these days? The silence is astounding while the gameplay of this game DOESN'T exist without voice communication. And it brutally shows.

@@karhuboy2 Ammo pouches, canteen, personal belongins, rations, tools (trench shovel, bayonet/knife etc), rations, helmet and all other bits and bobs could easily amount to 20-30 kilos. Unfortunately english lacks the vague numeric definition that would be used in my language for that (literally "a pair of tens"), so "a couple dozen" it is, even if it sounds like it's more than it actually is.

To all the gamers who want 'realism' the whole "I don't know what is going on" and then instantly dying seems like a pretty accurate representation of WW2.
Running and dying simulator, there is a reason the most popular games randomize spawns, don't have artillery, mgs that can hit you from 600 m, and randomize bullet spray. It allows new players to actually play. This game is probably really fun for those who have been at it for a couple years with a group of friends.
Still more Fun then Tarkov I think xD
To watch Kotton in Enlisted would be great.
