Hoax obviously, it's been proven for years to be a hoax
The next door neighbours lad admitted responsibility for the knocking, he balanced the telephone table on marbles which moved when the police were there. All youths involved were acting up for Morris & the T.V. crew.

My mum used to live in ponders end and was friends with one of the sisters boyfriends and they went round to they’re house at the age of 10 like 5 years after the incident and she said Janet was pale asf and was really really strange.

Worked with a computer engineer from Enfield. I reckon he was possessed or something because every time he tried to fix an issue with my pc another one would happen WITHOUT FAIL.
Also whenever he was around I had significantly less money……

im from ponders end in enfield and all i can tell you is what i saw in 1987, i was 8yo and me my mum and sister were picking up a boy went the school opposite their house who she was babysitting for, we were waiting in the car and noticed a red frilly cushion that was sitting perfectly ontop of the chimney of the house opposite the school, when my mum came back to the car with the kid i mentioned this as it was very strange, we all saw it sitting on the chimney and then the kid said that is the poltergeist house.
it dont prove anything and could have been a prank, who knows but it was very odd.

I believe in poltergeist activity but not that it's some kind of spirit but like the man said near the beginning some kind of energy usually around someone going through puberty. There's a really cool German case where a young secretary lost her job because light bulbs would stop working as she walked past but mostly because the phones would not work whilst she was in the office, when the telecom engineers came to look for faults they found the phones had been calling thousands of numbers in a period of time that would be impossible to manually enter into the phones. So yeah in my opinion it happens but it's just a natural phenomenon that we do not understand yet. I also think it's far more common than we think but in most cases it might just be one strange thing that happens because the energy isn't strong enough.

Yeah it’s poltergeist, not grown men wanting to live with a single mother with kids so they can hang out in the kids bedroom and take pictures for months on end 😅

Are you sure it’s dyed right now. It looks natural. My beard is ginger but my hair is dirty blonde/brown.
I believe this was an absolutely genuine case but blown out of proportion. It got far more attention than it deserved. The girls definitely hoaxed some of it but they copied what they were genuinely experiencing.
