I really like how Suga handled the plagiarism question and how he basically made the reporter say plagiarism out loud before shutting him down. Suga really doesn't deal with double talk and insinuations and will cut you down with the truth!

For the fans that don’t understand why this press conference was a problem I’ll trying explain in this short summary
This whole press conference was set in place for the purpose of replying to questions regarding their new album. Therefore questions raised need to correlate back to the workings of the album, how the album came to be, collaborations on the track, achievements and future plans are all valid points.
The problem here can be seen in the difference of questions that were asked by the korean media vs international journalists. While the intl media asked questions. They were all relevant to their album & was centred around their craft, music army and breaking barriers in the music industry.
Now going back to the Kmedia they kept asking useless ques. like this pl@g**sm issue, not having dating scandals and other problematic questions that weren’t appropriate for the setting and purpose of the event bts aren’t here to clear up past allegations or reply to questions about their private dating life this press conference wasnt set up for that. So instead of asking direct questions that are RELEAVNT TO THIS EVENT : They go asking questions that make no damn sense just to get bts to slip up and spill some sort of secret so that they can use it to write their click bait articles as always. That was the intent of many reporters there. If y’all watched the whole press con you can see The motive behind all of these question to get them to say something then twist their words to get them hate.
While the intl reporters questions reflected their views & PRIORITY aimed to better understand bts’ as artists while the kmedia acted as if they were trying sell tabloids with their questions. Not to mention the passive aggressive attitude and their back handed complements that seemed as if they really can’t accept the fact that bts are truly kind unproblematic ppl. Asking unconventional question here and there so that they can get their “guard down”
Bts were still able to respectfully answer all their questions once again proving that kmedia don’t got shit on them. It’s even funny how they talk about the 2nd bts while they don’t recognize and respect the already existing group but go off about the 2nd bts all the time
How are you gonna continuously devalue & discredit all that they’ve done on a daily basis ignoring their massive accomplishments without giving them their deserved respect but have the audacity to mention another “bts” i don get it.
I forgot to add- the reporter that asked this question was a whygee reporter than constantly wrote click bait articles to drag &get bts hate so it’s not even surprising that he’s the one that brought it up in the 1st place.

Since BTS is never on variety shows and rarely give interviews to korean outlets, they decided to ask what they want when it’s a press conference for their new comeback!! I am so tired of those media who tried to find flaws in BTS, they cannot accept the fact that they are genuinely good people and amazing artists who deserve their big success.
I admire the boys professionalism and seriously in those situations I’m glad Suga is here, he’s the one who will always defend BTS when tricky questions comes, when our leader don’t know how to handle it he can count on Suga. Remind me of the B-Free scandal when Suga show how you should not play with them, always courteous but you can feel that you messed up with him! 😏

I mean RM can handle it but the thing is that he’s too polite and always try to see from the other point of view for this kind off question, when Suga is just blunt and put people in their place.
Like with B-Free, when he talked about makeup, RM understand and admitted that can be a conflict with hip hop. He was so young and easily doubted himself but Suga came and said fucked off at least we are seen in the mainstream when y’all suffer in the underground.
Here the question with plagiarism, RM would have handled it in the diplomatic way but as a leader he always try to represent his group in the maximum, that’s why he asked the reporter if his question is about what inspired them to do WINGS concept since he worked on it, when you can say all the members kinda get that the reporter was accusing them of plagiarism.
When the reporter ask again using the term plagiarism, RM saw Suga ready to talk, he let him because he knows Suga will come harsh and he’s angry.
In those both situations, RM try to understand the other party point of view and try to change their question, that’s how he is, very understanding of the industry and very careful as he’s the leader. He always try to be open and make it easy for people to talk to him so being close and shutting down questions is out of character, him and Suga play the good and bad cops in those moments so RM can still appear as an open person for the media.
While Suga appears as if cursing you when he still polite, in those times RM can count on his hyung, he would have done the same saying “see with our agency” but it wouldn’t have come as harsh as Suga and really put the reporter in his place. Unlike RM, Suga is really close, his body language and tone of voice indicates he don’t want to talk about it.
Glad RM as a leader don’t have to do everything alone and can count on his members even in unexpected rude questions.

yoongi is like the 2nd spoke person/leader for the group. Him and Namjoon took on 98% of the questions lmao. the rest of the members helped answered the more "easy" question. Im pretty sure jin didn't say anything and the rest said/answered one question/thing. i always love seeing their dynamic(?) in different type of settings. Also love how yoongi and namjoon both got that interviewer to stop beating around the bush and just say what he wanted to say and how they handled that plagiarism question.
