As a die hard OMD fan since 1982 of course I grew up with Depeche Mode as well. Fletch was one of the faces of DeMo since I was an early teenager. His death hits me really hard. Rest in Peace, man. 🥺😫

I'll never forget when OMD opened for DM at the Rose Bowl. I was there, and it was amazing. Thanks for uploading this! So sad Fletch is no longer with us, but I'm thankful for the memories.

Wow! Nicely done! I've said it before and I'll say it again, that Rose Bowl concert gave this music some legitimacy it never had, but as time as shown, richly deserved. I had forgot the important role OMD played, as they were huge back then and have produced an amazing catalog of great music. RIP Fletch! ** Btw, the Greek Theatre is the place I saw INXS back on the Listen Like Thieves Tour - I was front row and got a drumstick from Jon Farris and a pick from Timmy!

Man the fact that he has died sucks. I saw them twice in Tinley Park, ( southwest suburb of Chicago) once in 1991 & 2013 same venue. They were incredible.

Funny thing - I used to consider myself a Simple Minds fan first and foremost.. then I counted my albums one day and found I had more OMD than SM..
