Manorathangal is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language anthology series. The anthology features nine featurettes based on M. T. Vasudevan Nair's nine short stories Aswathy V Nair, daughter of M.T. Vasudevan Nair, is the creative director of this film. Titles are Olavum Theeravum, Kadugannawa; Oru Yathra Kurippu, Sherlock, Silalikhitham, Vilpana, Kadal Kattu, Kazhcha, Abhayam Thedi Veendum, and Swargam Thurakkuna Samayam.
The anthology is presented by Kamal Haasan. It comprises an ensemble cast including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Fahad Fazil, Biju Menon, Nedumudi Venu, Siddique, Indrajith Sukumaran, Asif Ali, Mamukkoya, Vineeth, Indrans, Aparna Balamurali, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Ann Augustine. The anthology released on 15 August 2024 on ZEE5.

ഓളവും തീരവുമൊഴികെ എല്ലാം നന്നായി, ഹൃദയഹാരിയായ ദൃശ്യാനുഭവങ്ങളായിത്തീർന്നു. കാലത്തെ അതിജീവിച്ച അപൂർവം മലയാളസിനിമകളിലൊന്നാണല്ലൊ പഴയ ഓളവുംതീരവും , അത്രത്തോളം മനസ്സിൽ പതിഞ്ഞ സിനിമ. അപ്പോൾ പഴയ സിനിമാസ്വാദകരുടെ ഇടയിൽ താരതമ്യം സ്വാഭാവികം. സാങ്കേതിക വളർച്ചയ്ക്ക് പുതിയ ഓളവുംതീരത്തിനെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല , ആത്മാവിപ്പോളും ഇരിക്കുന്നത് പി.എൻ. മേനോനും മങ്കട രവിവർമയും ഏറ്റെടുത്തു നടത്തിയ സിനിമയിൽ തന്നെ.

ഏറ്റവും മികച്ചു നിന്നത് ശ്യാമപ്രസാദിന്റെ സിനിമ പ്രത്യകിച്ചു പാർവതിയുടെ മനോഹരമായ അഭിനയം. മഹേഷ്‌ നാരായണൻറെ സിനിമയും, അശ്വതിയുടെ സിനിമയും അത് പോലെ കടുവാണ്ണയും വല്ലാത്ത നോവായി. അശ്വതിയുടെ വില്പനയിൽ മധുബാല ഒരു mismatching ആയി തോന്നി. സുകന്യ, ഗൗതമി, പാർവതി ജയറാം, ഒക്കെ ആയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കുറച്ചു കൂടി മികച്ചു നിന്നെനേം.
