The Human retaliatory Reaction was no where near anything CLOSE to justice in this story. The only thing that would even begin to come close is to unleash the exact same horrors the aliens unleashed upon humanity upon the aliens. But Ensure it would wipe them out to the last xeno.
a kernel of truth so to speak. our immune system can deal with any sickness the issue is how slow it is. most times we die from the damage, symptoms, and/or just being overwhelmed before it can deal with it. our immune system is like batman it just needs prep time
Rabies - virus Ebola - virus Smallpox - virus Measles - virus Polio - virus You also missed: Influenza - virus Corona - virus And then there's the one outlier... Yersinia Pestis (aka Plague) - bacteria It still exists today in a few wild populations of animals, but rarely infects humans. Because it's a bacteria, several anti-biotics are effective, thus epidemics are unlikely. Due to it's low contact with humans, there's also little chance for it to become immune to anti-biotics, like MRSA did... (your skin is covered in SA colonies right now)
@@thedarcbird There are still issues with mRNA vaccines evidenced by recent events and companies accelerating thee roll out hence lack of safety data/testing along with their corruption and greed for money. There is promise, just needs more time. Ai will accelerate this process though.
I understand the need for a 'hand-wave' to forward the plot, but why did negotiations mentioned in the beginning fail? I mean, humans are gonna human, there will always be Watsons, but did they learn nothing from Earth's 18th-19th century colonial era?
These stories are always good. But if I could pick out 1 thing kinda irks me it's that they always have 1 common thing (besides the sci-fi element). Humans are always the saviors in 1 way or another. We are always portrayed as overlooked primitive species that somehow becomes the most feared and respected. We are somehow a special anomaly. In reality we are anything but.
The 'reality' is in fact that nothing is proven, seriously conjectured, relating to our 'weakness', 'primitivity' etcetera. Nothing scientific that says that we are one way or another relative to some perspective extraterrestrial species or coalition/grouping loose assembly of extraterrestrial species etc.. A fact is that we are most certainly a special and unique anomaly, until found otherwise.
Then stop listening to channels that are HFY. Stop listening to Humanity, F*ck Yeah. That is the soul point of these stories, to remind us that we ARE an amazing species.
Your last few stories are starting to contain too much of "the message" that's prevalent on the AI generated sites. A story ending in a firm handshake is fine, but I find "group hug" endings a turn off. The dropping of the mid story "ad breaks" was noted and appreciated though.
It's a story about soldiers that disabled orders n want to threaten their own species n every other one. What if he kills innocent ones and that race secretly had a weapon and he killed their people that had nothing to do with all this. Then they do to the humans what they r doing to them. Cause this Captain just wants death. Retribution isn't revenge. He is going in crazed for blood and should never have been giving that ships command. Bet writer simps for his own character
narration- liked; narration was very god. story-not so much. at best i would say it was unpolished. there is kernel of interesting story, but fleshed out too simplistically perhaps?... just too many "why is that so" and "would not happen like that" kept poking at brain....
The humans magically survived and bounced back from the "extinction plague" in minutes / hours ... because ... "unspecific plot armor." Humans fell over ... then just ... got back up and were fine. Because ... "reasons!" LAME. **facepalm**
Aliens : Measure once cut 10,000 times with an oxyacetylene cutting torch.
Humans : Measure 10,000+ times and cut once with a monomolecular laser.

Honestly, I'm more surprised that humanity didn't go Geneva checklist on those xenos.
Lol - are you Canadian?
Wait checklist?
Guess that's one list I've completed

It's similar to the US Congress to the US's army mobilisation. Long time to get through but once it does it hits hard
They should have realized that we have Rablies, Ebola, and we have been through Smallpox, Measles, Polio, and the Plague.

We also have mRNA vaccines that render all viruses obsolete. (They are now working on cancer with the same tech.)

not to means the flu pandemic of 1918
Listen to this channel daily I'm old and med appointments are boring so this definitely helps thank you
SO much more entertaining than the usual AI offering! Thank you
recently found this channel and i listen to it while either gaming, chores or walking around in public
How did the the crew on the harbinger loose family on the initial attack when they all woke up and immune?
The answer is simple. Most... but not all, woke back up.
Love listening to these at work man, props to whoever writes these!

Good story, nicely read. Good voice inflection
I can see it’s often hard to stop because someone else says. “It’s time”
The problem with contagents is if even a few survive it will have unexpected consequences.
Thank you for this story 💙💚❤️ and for all your effort & the time you put in when uploading this. It is really truly appreciated 🙏

The stories are written by A.I.

@timothyswanson8773 I'll listen to whatever I want thank you lol. Sorry that I somehow hurt your feelings
You don't know that. Maybe we are an anomaly
Another ripping yarn. At 3:16 mark, you didn't disappoint.
Watson is right, idiotic to share the information with former enemies like that.
Story is good, but ultimately the doctor... she is ultimately bigger safe hazard than the rogues ever could be...

great story! also 1st
do you do series? I just recently started one and would love some more exposure.
Never trust genetisists.
Why not? At least in reality all scientists are bound by laws and ethics regulations.
In the Wuhan human outpost....

There needs to be a Part 2 where the Xeno Scum betrays the humans who believed their Lies and they have to Call upon Captain Watson to save humanity
It came from the wet market, not a lab.
Lmao.
We still got an island with some remnents if tge black death
Too many words and phrases are repeated here and in the many stories so far.

It HFY, the specialness of humanity is the point of the genre. It’s literally called “Humans f*ck yeah!”
❗️👎!
Again -- woke BS!
Lol it's a fictional story soo yeah it's technically BS
i love the stories, but man that voice you try too hard to sound different it just takes me out of the story
