Tyrants of the Underdark is my favorite deck builder. If you have not played it you should give it a try. It is an area control game and deck builder combined.

Dominion was one of my intro games, so it will always have a special place in my gaming heart. Also love Dune Imperium, and I finally learned Clank! last week. I haven't really played that many deck builders 😢 I just taught my 8 year old nephew his first deck building game, Summer Camp. While super simple, I think it's a good intro for young kids.
Some of my favorite deckbuilders: Endless Winter & Clank! Soo much more than a deckbuilder, but it contains the element as over multiple games you get more cards to build your deck: Etherfields.
Deckbuilding is my favorite mechanic in fact i own almost all the games you mention and my favorite game of all time is ofc Dune imperium in all the declinations, i would also add concordia venus and Clank catacombs too

Yeah I didn't enjoy it either. I played 2 games and sold it. It was my first kickstarter and I was very excited for it but it really wasn't for me. If you find it uninteresting like me, I don't recommend getting expansions for it. I don't see any expansions bringing a game I am not enjoying to a experience I want to play all the time. It just can't happen.
@@925Gamers I'm just starting in this boardgame world, I came from MTG (magic) and I love the draft format, coincidence that I have like 7 out 10 games that you mention in my wishlist, you just make me more hype to buy them, very surprised when I see your top 1, just got dune uprising, I have it sealed, waiting for the weekend to play with my friends

Dale of Merchants is a deckbuilding game I enjoy a lot, but I have not tried a lot of games.

I have moon-rakers, do I need expansions for the game to be way better because my experience it’s just ok
Yes, the expansions make it a 10/10. More interesting cards for deck-building or ways to cooperate with your opponents.

All you really need though is the overload expansion! That one adds so much to the game! The other two are great as well!

Played warps edge and I love it! It made the short list! Also got Hero Realms! the other 3 I haven't come across in my game store yet!
