I bet a lot of people don’t like this style of video but I don’t mind. As someone who likes to work on projects, it’s nice to see one come together almost flawlessly. ( so far ) RBG definitely deserves more recognition for what he does in this Section of YT community.
To improve tge stering, i inflate front to rear: 6,10,8,6 psi. Having tge 2nd set from the front overinflated makes a huge difference. Keeping those tores at tgese pressures means checking every time you use it.
Man those 8x8’s are Friggen Cool! I’ve always wanted to drive one, or better yet own one. You got such a cool ass job Red Beard, as much work as it can be to design and build stuff like you do, it sure must be exciting and very rewarding in the end to drive such cool machines. Just found your channel and subscribed. Keep doing what you do, Im loving it, and learning stuff too. Thank you brother! ✌️😎👍
I was thinking about splitting Pool Noodles, and zip-tie them on the tubes, and then your son proved they're needed by bruising his arm.Leave 4-5"gaps every 1-1/2' for handholds.
Probably an issue with the gears or linkage or clutch if it's not turning right very well. I love the argos. Only driven one in my life but it was a 6x6.
@@RedBeardsGarage Great to hear you got it figured out! Those brake disc's setup was a great idea for them at the time when they came out but a terrible design, too.
Is it down on power pretty bad? It should be able to turn on itself when it's stopped I have a 6 wheel version am older one but have a 18 horse kohler not much of an engine but it will easily turn at a stop with three people in it. I love these old argos!
It would probably be fine for just putzing around a yard or flat areas, but I wouldn't want to drive it aggressively and possibly have to rely on that "cage" during a roll-over. With no cross braces - or even gussets to speak of - IMO it's more of a framework to attach a top or cover to than a true "cage".

I thought it was just me but I was wondering why I was almost only turning left
Turned out to be a sticking caliper

Put a red spring on the clutch for more power

What's up red beard!
You got the tires on backwards they come factory the other way to make steering easier and to paddle in the water
awesome
God bless
If you put the hand throttle on a foot pedal it will turn right better.
Y'all need a 5 point harness for the back.
Now you've got a great excuse to dig a lake! Lol
What type of 8 speed transmission did you use?
Its a cvt with a high-low ...same as most automatic atv's.
So if its a cvt were does the other 8 in 8×8 come from ?
@@IBRACIN it has a sprocket on each wheel and a long chain that spins them all on each side

From the video, it looks like that thing is doing close to 25mph. Any truth to that?
Not positive but it felt like 25
Seems to me it would be easier to function if It had a foot or thumb throttle, not a twist 🤷♀️
Looks like it pulls to the left.
Left brake caliper is sticking a bit
Came
Seriously i watched 4 mins and i felt like i needed my neck seein too, how is loni doin the the back? He need a chiropractor or what?
It's rough in the back for sure
