Haley Joel Osment's performance was "Mesmer"-izing to say the least.

When this season is finished, please don't take too long to go into the next ones since the show gets even better. I wish I could say somethings about this episode but, funny thing, this episode has a ver large list of future consequences that will reflect on season 2 AND season 3... can't wait for the next episode! Keep it up guys, your reactions allways makes me happy!

Seth Rogen is one of the Executive Producers of the show alongside his producing partner Evan Goldberg.
They created the show and helped adapt it from the comics it is based on.
Hence, his cameo in this episode, alongside an Easter Egg in the form of the names of the Vought writers who are called "Seth" (the black guy) and "Evan"

Seth Rogan is producing so much excellent content and I don't think he gets enough credit for it: The Boys, Invincible, Preacher, TMNT, etc.

Karl Urban and Antony star totally crush the acting and it shows in this episode. Both are down right terrific at the "oh I am so sweet and kind and nice... oh the camera is off deadpan look of a monster" and the same goes for Karl when hes talking to Hughie at the end the quick Friend to Foe transition is glorious. Special mentions to Karen Fukuhara and Laz Alonso, Karen does such great work with just physical acting and Laz really gets his moments to shine as well. He is easily the reason MM is my favorite character in the show.

I didn't think much of this series when I heard about it. But watching The Boys with you two has really made me change my mind about it. Really Enjoy the videos each week. Looking forward to the next episode. Cheering for Frenchie and Keiko. Not sure things are going to work out well for Huey and Starlighter....

Truly one of the greatest shows of all-time, and I'm loving y'alls reactions to it. 👍✌❤
Side Note: Karl Urban is an excellent actor, and one of my personal favourites; but Anthony Starr is absolutely f***in' brilliant in this.

Whether or not Homelander has a weakness, I don't know and wouldn't spoil if I did. But for the sake of what I have to say, let's assume he doesn't. Butcher wanting Homelander prosecuted makes sense, but the real fact is, if someone like Homelander actually existed, someone who is basically unstoppable, the law wouldn't apply to them anyway. Laws only mean anything if you can enforce them. You could never arrest someone like that. You could never imprison them or force them to comply with anything a court says. The only way the law could ever apply to someone like that is if they _chose_ to play along. If they decided to do whatever they liked and to ignore the law, there's really nothing that could be done. Ever.
Laws are a nice idea, and society respecting them is good for creating at least some level of harmony, but without enforcement, they're just words. I have zero trust in our government or any other, I'm not gonna lie. I consider myself to be a good person, who respects others and tries to help when I can. I support a lot of groups and ideas (mostly left-leaning) and I try to be civil and to give everyone a fair chance. And I obey the laws because as a normal human, I have to, or I get punished. But if I had powers like Homelander, or some other kind of superpowers that made me impossible to detain, contain, or kill, I'd immediately stop paying any attention to laws that were meant to govern things I wanted to do. Which is not to say I'd start victimizing people and stealing shit, because that's not who I am as a person. But if I was in a position where no one could actually enforce the law against me? They don't apply. If I wanted or needed to do something and the law said it was illegal, it wouldn't mean a damn thing to me, so I'd just do it. And I consider myself a "good" person. If I, as a good person, would ignore the law because I was too powerful to be stopped, I'd imagine any morally reprehensible person like most of the supes in this show would certainly ignore it. Why wouldn't they?
All of this is my long-winded way of saying that Homelander did horrible things, and ideally, he should be punished for them. He's a monster. But realistically, the reason that CIA woman can't do anything to deliver Homelander to justice isn't because she's scared (even if she is) or anything like that. There's actually nothing she can do. I mean even if they did charge him, he could kill anyone and everyone who ever tried to arrest him. If he wanted to, he could probably hunt down and kill every last human on earth (again, assuming for this example that he has no weaknesses). So, maybe he gets declared a criminal. So what? What real function does that have? Would the average cop _actually_ try to arrest Homelander knowing that he'll just die for trying? Would your average convenience store employee or restaurant staff _actually_ refuse to serve Homelander or ask him to leave knowing what could happen if they pissed him off? Not a chance of any of these things. All that would realistically happen is the government names Homelander a wanted criminal, and Homelander carries on with his life as if nothing changed, because there's nothing anyone can do about it. Butcher seems like a pragmatic sort of person. He should know that the chances of Homelander actually seeing justice are zero. I figured that was the whole reason he was working outside the law. It was surprising and kind of disappointing to me when he made a demand that Homelander be brought to justice. In this setting, I figured it would be blatantly obvious to _everyone_ that there's no court for most of the supes. They're just too powerful for the law to apply.

Everytime i see homelander, i kept thinking how stinking he is in that superhero suit. All the humid, sweat, trap in that- 4season later, he still too busy to have a shower scene or at least change to his 50th suit just to show us he at least have done that.
Hehe~ sorry guys. Just my selfish bothered opinion

24:13...Don't forget what Mesmer said about his daughter not really wanting to see him. When he held her he must have read her mind and now it seems to him he has nothing else left but to try to get back on friendly terms with Vought. He's making a bad mistake but it's easy to see why...

12:28 I am kinda on Butcher's side on this. We have seen Supes do some horrible stuff. Could the Ice Princess have done it on purpose? Or Techguy break that woman's back? They should be angry. IMHO.
