I feel like it’s one of those weird cases of a ton of people all coming to the same conclusion at the exact same time. I know my style is often compared to being a Tim imitation but other then the harmonics I started incorporating it was more of a coincidence
I feel like there definitely is much more out there in modern guitar, but the polyphia aesthetic gets pushed more by RUclips and gains more traction, leading to a weird echo chamber of sorts. What other genres were you thinking of when you asked for something original?
