- This is one of those ships that I always "almost" reviewed, but then something came up. Time to finally complete the round of tier 8 premiums, and take a look at the pride of the Regia Marina, the mighty "Roma".

Nice, good job! Having cruiser screens in a BB is such a pleasure - and happens so rarely :)
Just in case no-one else has said it, I find that triggering the reload booster at 11-12 seconds left on your reload gives the best performance.
This comment was written during the opening part of the video, so you might have covered this later on in the vid.
Also, let it be known that the Roma is officially my favorite BB in the game. Definitely not because it is so OP to the point of being nearly unsinkable. Definitely my favorite because, uhhhh... The stripes are nice?
it depends a bit if you have the master reloader skill on the captain (I don't yet). Unless it's an emergency, I trigger around 6s left on the reload, which gives me an instant salvo plus a quick second one.
I want the Roma now, I'm more of a BB main, but I'm experimenting with different lines now.
High-quality pizza dough making a very sturdy hull
Plenty of olive oil to slick things up and improve manuverability
381mm pepperoni guns with excellent penetration and accuracy making her a deadly ship and cheeze secondaries to back her up
Roma is quite a fine pizza

If you want to learn more things on WoWs PC, there are a lot of good channels. I'm a big fan of Flambass and his way of playing, even though I don't play myself. There are actually more resources and information available for PC than for Blitz. Good luck!

I know this is old, but the Cleveland player is in my fleet… he’s a really good player. Told me that he had just got the ship, was very aware that he was on Terry’s team, and just wanted to “not mess up”.

Awesome vid! I love the italian ships. Wondering- do you think we could get a video comparing the American BB's? The game is a little lackluster in terms of displaying good and bad things.

I am not talking about your voice, I know that it is overlapped on the video later on and that is the external audio.....I can't find an app to record screen with internal audio.

You certainly don't have to get pasta lot of practice to get good results
Nice video! Why do you not activate precise aim and rapid reload together? This way, 2 salvoes can be fired with high accuracy.
it depends. I use the precise aim more at long range, if I need to hit something, and tend to use the reload more when I'm in a good position to fire, but not necessarily always at range.
Superb video Terry. Roma reminds me a lot about the Roman infantry. Ok armour but completely crazy in killing opponents
Just managed to get a 110k game (but a loss) while watching your video, I must say I LOVE my Roma! Roma is such a great ship for experienced BB players but as you said, can be easily ruined by good CV players! Great review of imo the most aesthetically pleasing ship in the game, keep up your great work!

thank you for this wonderful video ... I think using rapid reload and precise aiming togather does a greater job.
Thanks! I generally use the precise aim if I need better dispersion at range, so I'm not usually triggering them together by default.
I got Roma a while back... Was amazing and started out on a nice kill/win streak. Then it went south and havent touched her in months. Guess what im gonna do tonite???🤔👍

This is my favorite ship at the moment. Absolutely punishes cruisers and North Carolinas and is reasonably maneuverable.
I have the 2x steering just as Giulio Cesare. Makes her easy to turn as well.. Almost cruiser wise. Love this T8 ship.

Roma, even with an entry-level captain and without historical camo, is already very powerful. Can't imagine what that thing can do with APCS.
You can configure the captain's voice in the settings - I think it's called "national" or something. Although it'll change the voices of the chat commands as well (presumably they're being relayed by a radio officer?)

Yea roma is beast mode
French bb suck hard, gascogne is ok-ish if not facing very good enemy bb‘s it can do good dmg.. but t10 is so worth it with right commander it deals dmg like no tomorrow.. but armor sucks 🤷🏻♂️

Would you give the title of best t8 battleship to Roma, or another ship?
Am I the only guy here trying to find the weak points of the roma as I drive a Bismarck but I keep dying to roma platoons
Roma will burn. That’s your best bet. With a Bismarck, your best bet is to use cover and get close, because Roma is more accurate. So get in close and trade.
Do we have "Zuikaku" on the game?
we have Shokaku, the lead ship of the class.
Should I grind Worcester or des moines?
Caveat: I don't have Worcester yet. Personally, I like Des Moines, since I'm generally more aggressive, and she's a very tanky cruiser. At close range, a DM will absolutely demolish Worcester. Both have great AA, but DM can stand her ground against other cruisers, whereas Worcester will have to rely on kiting. That said, a kiting Worcester is an absolute pain.
Roma is OP.
Yeah Roma got Hit two times by the Fritz X Bombs, one hit Roma and knock out Roma’s Power or Engines if I remember, other Hit Roma’s Magazines and blow up and also making Roma’s second 381mm gun turret go Flying off and into Water, I don’t Have Roma I would have got Roma in the first Shipyard but the IJN Maya got me more interested, Worth getting Roma in the 3rd Shipyard If Roma is making a comeback or worth Getting Vittorio Veneto when the Italian BBS come to Blitz but That Take Time for that to happen.
Or Might worth getting a Model Kit of Roma if I feel like it
I'm fine with Italian BBs getting added.
What's not fine, is adding SAP as one of their ammo

Personally, I'd still chose Richie over Roma - Roma feels too "easy". But if you have neither, and want a really powerful T8 BB, Roma is an excellent choice.

Other community contributors think the guns are one of the most weak points
as in, the turrets get knocked out, or the guns' performance? I'm not a BB main, but I don't have complaints on either...
