In Middle / High school I went through a very hard time too, which later made me grow up to become a therapist. When I got my ferret I was happy knowing there was someone there for me when I had a bad day and loving me no matter what before I got my ferret I was pretty depressed because I never really had anybody anyways there for me so I’m thankful for my ferret
Ahhh and here come the tears! Today would have been the 5th anniversary of my ferret Rupert's "gotcha day" had he not passed away unexpectedly last year. Already feeling really emotional and this video reminds me why we got him in the first place, and all of that unconditional love he showed to every person who held him. Animals are such a blessing in our lives.

Thank you so much I am crying through this. I just lost my dog and to a suddenly random and fast battle with IMHA (his immune system decided to attack itself for no reason). We met when I was 15 and he was under a year old, abandoned in a park by his previous purchasers who decided to move overseas. I met him while doing work experience and I followed him to the shelter when the ranger came on my last day. I got to spend over 12 years with him, he died too young. I miss him everyday and this videos means a lot for me to hear. Thanks.

I agree. I am the biggest animal person ever. I love my ferrets. They are very wild and woolly so sometimes they bight and stuff but I just try to do my best to let the darlings be happy and obviously try to teach them to be nice. Your ferrets are very adorable and very well behaved. I love your channel. This is a very true video and thank you for making my day. Mine was trying to crawl into my trash can. And I’ve had slight struggles with friends but they will be friends till the end
I wish our house was ferret-safe enough to let our wezuls wander everywhere. I also wish we had a safe outdoor space for them to play in. Right now neither of those is possible - but we're actively looking for a builder to build our dream home, which will be 100% ferret-safe! We'll have to wait until ferret distemper vaccines are available again before we can let them play outdoors, even if we construct a safe space for them. Until then, we're providing as much space (about half the house) and fun toys as we can to keep them entertained.

@@Mythicx2x you should get a second one as soon as you can. When you only have one ferret for a long period of time your ferret will be sad. And lonely. Then will eventually stop playing with you.

However, my next ferret, Fergie, literally cried for days (made vocal noises) until I got him a playmate. It took two weeks for me to figure out he needed a friend, but from then on he and his adopted brother Finnie are very happy!

Hello! I really want a ferret but I have a few questions about them! I’m at school during the day and don’t get home until 4:30. Would that be a big problem? Hey! I got a question. I've been thinking about getting ferrets for a while now. I am preparing myself to make their life as best as possible. The only things I still need help with is the feeding routine, what and when to feed them (I sadly do not have the option to feed them complete animals like mice, I hope that I can still feed them in another healthy way.), and the ferret nation cage is not available in my country, so do you maybe have a different option for a good cage? Hi hi, with ferrets you have to make sure they have access to food at all times, you can do a raw diet which is recommended, or a dry food diet like what dogs eat. Ferrets can only eat meat so try and get some with no added preservatives. Ferret nation cages are great, if you have no other options and decided to get something smaller then you’ll have to let them out of the cage longer. With a regular 2 level cage 3-4+ is the minimum time out they’ll need.

Why are ferrets so expensive now. I bought a cage expecting to pay 150 for a ferret from petco and they are 405 dollars! Luckily I found one for 300 from littlethieves. I'm planning in buying it from there. If anyone regrets buying from there please reply to this. I don't want to go blindly. Also there are barely any ferrets around where I live

Ferrets tend to sleep for I think 18 hours a day, basically long hours your ferret will be fine as long as you let them out when you get home for 2-4plus hours
Depending on your lifestyle and the amount of time you can spend with them, 1 or 2. Keep in mind, getting a ferret is more like adding a dog or cat to your home, so make sure it is right for you first ♥

I’m pretty sure ferrets are harder to find already trained but looking into rescues is a great choice. Pet finder is a great app for that

Back in when Covid happen they ground out ferrets can get Covid so lots of the ferrets were tested on so there was a ferret shortage

6:17 in the past people actually did used to put animals on trial. this was a while ago but yes... humans did at one point in time put animals on trial and in some cases they executed the animal.
