Could you do a video on you'r storage? Specially when it comes to regards of hedgehogs.. I'd like to set things up a little better be more organized so how do you store in where do you store they're insects what types of Insects do you feed and do you keep them in the Frigerator? what types of fleece can you use for hedgehogs what liners do you use under your fleece for them all that sort of stuff .. What kind of treats are safe for hedgehogs? Do you feed your hedgehog's any types of fruits or vegetables ?

Bin cages! A 50 gallon bin is like $20 and perfectly suitable :)

Where did you get the cage where you put your piggies?
It’s two Midwest Critter Nations pushed today :) I ordered all of mine on amazon.
Whoa that’s $800 worth of cages! I’ve been looking for a critter nation cage because it’s the 2x3’ spacing and height and the bars 1/2” spacing and climbable bars I need but haven’t found one for less than $175 :/ Have been looking for two months for my babies :(
I got all of mine on sale for Black Friday. That’s a bit away though. Hopefully one will crop up for you! I see them used on Craigslist from time to time!

do you have any tips for quilling? i brought my first hedgehog home today and he’s already quilling lol. i think we’re both stressed. he’s super snuggly but his quills are always up (i know he’s quilling because he’s lost a lot of quills and he huffs and flinches if i touch his upper back)
I personally tend to keep touching their backs to a minimum during quilling. I did a lot of just lap time while mine were quilling, so they’d snuggle down on my lap in a snuggle sack or blanket and I just let them rest there. :)
It’s not the most entertaining interaction but it’s a lot easier for them to get comfortable during quilling when you avoid touching their backs too much.

Blaise passed away a few months ago and Draco just recently passed away. Both because of health issues and she had to make a tough choice... but is the best for them.
Hi. I’m wondering what would you recommend more, a hedgehog or a rat. Which one is easier. pros and cons of each.
I personally thing they’re too different to compare. They have veeeery different care and personalities.

Hi, I’ve been a fan of your channel for awhile... (rip Draco💚) but i have a question about my hedgehog.. he’s getting older, around 6 years old, and he’s acting normal, eating, sleeping, walking, he just hasn’t been running a lot. He used to run for hours on end, and lately not so much, I did recently move into a new house so I first thought it could be that, but it’s been around 3 weeks. A few days ago I got his nails clipped.. again he’s acting totally normal, eating his food, drinking water, walking around. I’m just worried because he barely even uses his wheel anymore.. and I do realize he could just be getting old. Is there any advice you have?
It does sound a fair bit like aging to me - decreased activity is fairly normal when they get older. I’d just continue to keep an eye on him and make sure he’s doing everything else normally and that he isn’t gaining too much weight from not wheeling as often.

You need a thermometer/heat gun *and* a thermostat for your heat source. :)

Lol probably - I mess up phrases all the time😂
And no, wheels aren’t safe for guinea pigs. They should just have a lot of space to run rather than an exercise wheel so that they don’t bend their backs in uncomfortable positions.

WET potatoes you shouldn’t use hedgehog food you should use a good Quality cat food!
