@@davidhays1099 I like Ryan, but Mike said they are never replacing Chester. I would love to see LP thrive on, but I doubt they will ever produce new material without Chester under the name Linkin Park.

Man been forever since I heard the name Yellowcard. Most I know don't remember them, but they are still a favorite of mine. Ryan did a great job considering you can hear his emotions going during his notes. Him and Mike harmonize really well.

These two songs together instantly take me back to 2007 when i was serving in the middle east. Bought the LP album while in Bahrain and when i made a dvd slideshow of my flights time there used with and without you as a backing song. Never thought years later i would hear them mashed like this. Its sad because of the circumstances but also its really good to hear! Xx

Shadow Of The Day simply tells the story of a man (songwriter) who is going through a very, very difficult period in his life. It seems that he is depressed and has serious problems (whether love problems, whether life problems). Sometimes the problem has a solution, but sometimes the problem is without a solution. The lyrics also describe that his life is always dark and difficult like the shadow of the day. Because the sun's rays always shine on people, while the songwriter is only between the dark sides (shadows) of the sun. So being alone (leaving the outside world) is the only option for him to escape from all these problems.
I think it's rather about a dying loved one, it is written to someone else, who has a serious illness or just his/her time is up.

I was there and when I say that was truly the most healing experience of my life. I was devastated when I heard the news, Chester was someone I called my hero since I was a kid, I was the weird kid in school presenting about Chester Bennington on the “who is your hero” every time instead of my parents like every other kid. This concert healed so much but also made me see how impactful Chester was in my life. Missing you everyday Chester. ❤

@@doodooswaggy3825 Let's face it, there won't and honestly never should be because as Mike has even said himself, they don't wanna feel like they're replacing him. Maybe they'll find a touring vocalist that can do Chester's parts justice, but I think it'd be more likely to see them come back with Mike as the sole lead vocalist and only feel the need to play his vocal tracks when Mike can't sing something, which in this instance would be way more understandable

Its not about imitation, or duplication though. It's about being ones self and showing respect, hope, and love to all; be them here or moved on to another place beyond our imagination.
Empowering eachother and coming together to further ourselves as a whole is what we should be striving for. Be yourself, be an individual, but don't be afraid to lend a open hand to someone who may be different. At some point most of us hit rock bottom, as quoted by Rick Rigsby, rock bottom can also be a great foundation on which to build. So why not help someone grow and build on their foundation.
