I did it as marksman 31 and bm 10 for Stam and armor. Mixing in aimed shots, having true shot aura, and bm glove rune. Doubled kill speed for me. Same pet core hound. Got 4 airs in 2 hours after I made the change.
You can move talents out of armor because the mobs do nature dam which ignores armor. Cat is a great pet also because claw procs focus fire & physical hits more consistently than spells (E.g. Core Hound breath)
Does +hit on gear help your pet taunt? my pet cant hold aggro for me consistently, 1 growl gets resisted and then i have to kite. Me and my brother did this for 20 minutes and got 1 essence, i feel lucky. This farm has potential but its a pure RNG farm, where as other farms like ultra rare recipe farms, the mobs actually drop other stuff so even if you dont get the recipe you could get decent gold an hour from greys/cloth/raw money. I hate the pure RNG farms, i cant handle it when i farm for an hour or two and have nothing to show for it.
What’s your WA package. I like it better than the one I’m using. Does it have aimed shot cast bar? WST is broken. I enjoy the farm but prices crashed down to 45g. So many better farms for that money.
With sufficient hit rating its probably doable, but melee attacks have to deal with glancing blows and what not while ranged do not. This is why hunters are the best class in the game at dealing with mobs higher level than them. Casters resist a ton and melee attacks really struggle. Ranged will always be better for this.
Nice to afk farm. I swapped out Bestial Wrath for 1 more point in MM to get Aimed shot, especially now with the instant cast it seems a lot better than the sporadic pet buff.
I go over the talents, runes, and pet talents in the video which made a big difference. But I'm also rank 6 pvp and wearing a few pieces of pvp gear which has lots of armor and stamina. Pets scale based off our armor and stamina so that helps as well I suppose.
This is not a gold farm. I did this farm for 10 hours total. 517 kills for 4 essence.

2 essence of air in 5h, total garbage farm ^^ and i killed 160 elementals accoirding to rep i farmed
You can get 2 in 10 minutes or 2 in 10 hours its just RNG I guess.

you can also grab a "warmonger" from the ah for 3% more hit, pretty cheap and helps a bit
good video. I think it is beter to cosume frenzy stacks as it gives ur pet more focus back and more lava breaths which do the majority of its damage.

Great video , but personally disagree with BM spec as the pet tends to miss nearly every auto attack. Running survival gives +5% hit IIRC
I would like to add grouping with another hunter massively increases kill time. Also stack as much hit as you can.
how the f are you gonna say its a 4% drop and also you are getting 2-3 of them per hour? are you really killing like 50 mobs per hour?

I don't think it improves hit rating on taunt unfortunately nah. But yeah it's def a big rng farm which i can see why a lot of people wouldn't like.

Make sure your pet has max nature resist, pet armor is completely useless vs these mobs
Thank you . Very RNG , fight with 57 lvl take a while . 3 hours today and 1 essence . I can do a loot better with herbs per hour .
Farmed it for 2h and i got 2 items breath of wild and some random green drop. Dont waste your time here.
