That’s not always the case, in fact the next day it was the complete opposite. The water is so clear right now they catch on to ya quick when the sun is bright. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video, man! I appreciate you passing along the hot intel. Bro. Your reel! 😂. I don’t want to give it away but that was the best part of the video!
I’ve been watching your videos for awhile and you never fail to disappoint. You go out hoping to catch a couple and end up destroying them. Do you do guided trips? You should.
Thanks a lot for the kind words and support through watching my videos! I truly appreciate it. With that, I’ve been told I should be a guide many of times. Not sure I could handle the lifestyle though. I have buddies that guide and it’s a down right grind!
Fantastic😍The beach is very beautiful for relaxing, fishing for big fish🎣🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟👍🏻 extraordinary, very beautiful place, I enjoyed this video, happy work, always successful and healthy for you, Amen, thank you, my dear friend, for sharing a cool, interesting and useful video. I hope you have a happy day, I always support youforever💯✅🤝🤝🙏🏿💝
The guys trolling were really close to where I was fishing the day after this. I also caught walleye and so did everyone else casting for smallies. My side scan showed how stacked up they were on the edge of the river channel.
Hey Lucas, we went out on the 13th, my buddy is a Walleye guy, so we were trolling for them, I'm more into Bass and Muskie myself, anyway, we hooked into 6 Smallies all were 4 plus pounders, 2 small Pike, and 2 Walleye. it was a productive day. We started out a further south from where you were and ended up further north by the spillway. Tight Lines!!
Nice! I’m all about those walleye seasonally but other than that not much fun for me to catch. Sounds like a pretty good mixed bag you had! Thanks for watching!
@@CapnDanTreasures for sure! I’m gonna sniff around and try to find some this spring. Not sure exactly where to start but I’d assume up shallower during their spawn
I'm near 16 and Harper and the boat always has gas in it... lol I always fill up on the way home from a day on the water, so I can just hook up and go whenever... The bays are good in the early spring as the ski's are in close feeding...
I think smallmouth are capable of biting the tail off honestly. Mega bass plastic is really really soft and doesn’t hold up well…..but it flat out catches more than any other plastic swim bait.
I was on shore that day in an hour i had 2 fish over 5 lbs one 5.25 the other was 5.45 we had a east wind at 20+ mph yesterday so doo doo chocolate milk water now unfortunately.
@@TheOutdoorConquest ; 😆 hey it's part of it Lucas and you may safe someone else that terrible ending. U got to learn people something lol. But it will be appreciated I bet 💯
A true classic! Hell of a day!
Thanks a lot for watching dude! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Nice yak trip bro! Killing it as always 🤟🏾🔥
Thanks a lot for watching homey! Appreciate you!🤘🏼
Heck yeah buddy! Great day out there. As always, when that sun shows up, it’s on!
Had me laughing a little bit when your reel was dangling. 😂

Gotcha a Muskie out there did ya!? Nice
That will be in the next upload!
Looked like a sweet day! That dark sleeper was putting in work. Might have to convince my dad to fire up the boat soon.
Thanks for watching brother! I appreciate ya!
Excellent start to the season! You wore that dark sleeper out! Nice to have that spot to yourself too. Usually thats not the case lol
It was a great start for sure man. One pro to having a kayak as 95% of the boats owned are still dry docked.
Awesome day out even the cobra chickens sounded off to approve 😊... Man fish done knocked the Reel out of your Rod 😅. Thanks for sharing Lucas 💯
Thanks a lot for checking it out man I appreciate ya!🤘🏻 Them BASS-X reel seats kinda trash
Sick!
Thanks !

Thanks for watching!
Can’t wait to get out there I’ve only been out in march a few times.slow fishing is the name of the game in that cold water you can’t fish slow enough
I agree. It’s definitely worth it when you find the right pod of fish though!
Great video.

Never really fished the area other than Harsens Island. I find this content fascinating!
That’s the exact opposite of me. I’ve never fished around harsens island but I feel like I need to try it
Sweet video buddy
Thanks a lot Nolan! I appreciate you checking it out!
@@TheOutdoorConquest No problem, man your videos are so entertaining and helpful
Went out to the D yesterday. From the mouth to the g bridge. ended up with 6 but it took all day. Still early. Guys who were trolling did good. 👍 .

I heard mixed numbers at St Jean. Nice job on your videos. Hopefully we will see you out there jigging. .

Nice work man! They’ll eat!

What water temp do you think they’ll be heavy pre spawn biting

Way to stay persistent until you got on them.
