    Had me laughing a little bit when your reel was dangling. 😂

      That’s not always the case, in fact the next day it was the complete opposite. The water is so clear right now they catch on to ya quick when the sun is bright. Thanks for watching!

      It was a great start for sure man. One pro to having a kayak as 95% of the boats owned are still dry docked.

    Can’t wait to get out there I’ve only been out in march a few times.slow fishing is the name of the game in that cold water you can’t fish slow enough

    You go out hoping to catch a couple and end up destroying them.
    Do you do guided trips? You should.

      Thanks a lot for the kind words and support through watching my videos! I truly appreciate it. With that, I’ve been told I should be a guide many of times. Not sure I could handle the lifestyle though. I have buddies that guide and it’s a down right grind!

    Went out to the D yesterday. From the mouth to the g bridge. ended up with 6 but it took all day. Still early. Guys who were trolling did good. 👍 .

    • @TheOutdoorConquest
      @TheOutdoorConquest  10 месяцев назад +1

      The guys trolling were really close to where I was fishing the day after this. I also caught walleye and so did everyone else casting for smallies. My side scan showed how stacked up they were on the edge of the river channel.

    Hey Lucas, we went out on the 13th, my buddy is a Walleye guy, so we were trolling for them, I'm more into Bass and Muskie myself, anyway, we hooked into 6 Smallies all were 4 plus pounders, 2 small Pike, and 2 Walleye. it was a productive day. We started out a further south from where you were and ended up further north by the spillway. Tight Lines!!

    • @TheOutdoorConquest
      @TheOutdoorConquest  10 месяцев назад

      Nice! I’m all about those walleye seasonally but other than that not much fun for me to catch. Sounds like a pretty good mixed bag you had! Thanks for watching!

      Yeah, it was a great day. Any time you want to hook up and go chase down some musky, just let me know, and we'll make it happen...

      @TheOutdoorConquest  10 месяцев назад

      @@CapnDanTreasures for sure! I’m gonna sniff around and try to find some this spring. Not sure exactly where to start but I’d assume up shallower during their spawn

      @CapnDanTreasures 10 месяцев назад +1

      I'm near 16 and Harper and the boat always has gas in it... lol I always fill up on the way home from a day on the water, so I can just hook up and go whenever... The bays are good in the early spring as the ski's are in close feeding...

    What bites the Sleepers in half? Pike and Muskie?

    • @TheOutdoorConquest
      @TheOutdoorConquest  10 месяцев назад

      I think smallmouth are capable of biting the tail off honestly. Mega bass plastic is really really soft and doesn’t hold up well…..but it flat out catches more than any other plastic swim bait.
