me and my friend made this today by yourselves and they turned out great :) we're only 12 so if you want to try it but think it's too hard, just go for it! here are some tips/hacks that you may need while doing this: - use baking chocolate. if you use normal everyday chocolate, like cadbury chocolate, the melted chocolate would not melt properly and it would harden again really quickly (even at room temperature) - if you happen to not have white sugar, ou can substitute with brown sugar! it tastes just as good :) - do not put too much salt. make sure to flatten out the top of the measuring spoon before pouring the salt into the batter - let the melted chocolate cool down for awhile before adding into the mixture! if not, the eggs may cook! - do not over mix! if you do, the batter will come out really thick and it would have a cake-like consistentcy after baking, if you happen to accidentally over mix, don't worry! just add milk until it has about the same consistentcy as the batter in the video :) hope these tips/hacks helped you! good luck with your brownies
Nicee! Gonna keep these tips in mind while making brownies. Just wanted to ask one question...how do we know that brownies are done? As these ones are fudgy due to extra added Chocolate chunks and mostly temperature differs from oven to oven...just a bit concerned. Thanks.
about the toothpick. the tip works with cakes but not exactly with brownies so you check to see if there are cracks on the top for a fudgy brownie. if you do the toothpick tip then you’ll end up with a cakey brownie if thats your preference.
These are perfect. I baked mine slightly extra (about 30 mins) because they were a little *too* fudgy. I think it's because I couldn't help but add extra melted chocolate. They turned out super fudgy and dreamy and then set up perfectly the next day. Honestly the best brownies I've ever had. I'm making them again tonight because they've become highly requested.
i’ve made these brownies many times and now they’re my go to recipe! i would definitely suggest them. a few things i did wrong the first time: -not waiting for the chocolate to cool before mixing it in, the eggs could have cooked -folding the batter too much after adding flour, forgot where i heard it makes the consistency of the batter not right and i think they come out more cakey or something? -i also bake it for longer than them but my oven is probably different from theirs -and a little sea salt to garnish never hurts! to whoever plans to make this, have fun and good luck! :)
How much time it will take on electric oven or gas oven any exact time ... and how much time it will take on stove ? Plus any tips to make n mix it perfectly
hmm im not super sure, but if you want to cook them a different way i would look up a recipe that focuses on using that specific cooking method, and to mix it well i normally just fold it with a rubber spatula
They just have two. This one is a run of the mill kind of a recipe with simple techniques involved in the making. The other one is a more evolved recipe that was tried and tested several times.
My daughter has made these 3 times now..we found them sweet even after adding less but the next day after making it seems to settle and taste perfect. Love this recipe
Ryan Mcdonald maybe you could buy an oven thermometer so you know how hot your oven is running. Sometimes the temp you set isn’t accurate, like mine, I have to set my oven to 200 C if I need 180 C. Maybe that is why the bake time isn’t the same
Finalllllyyyy!!! I have been trying brownie recipes for a while now and have always been disappointed with the results until today. Got the perfect fudge (baked a little extra so that it isn't too gooey) and the winner - the perfect crusty top 😍 Things I did: •Used semi sweet chocolate chips. •Reduced the salt ! 1 tsp is wayyy too much. I added 1/4 tsp and even that brought in the needed saltiness. •Added a tbsp of flavourless oil (I had seen it in some other recipe that it gives extra moistness to the brownie) • for someone who doesn't like too much sweetness , reduce the sugar a little. • I used 1/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup regular white sugar. (Again , brown sugar adds to the flavour of the brownie) Enjoy y'all !
I just made these brownie today and they are really amazing! I used the measurement in grams interpreted by Lisa J in the comment, which is: 230 grams chocolate 170 grams butter 160 grams sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 96 grams flour 32 grams cocoa-powder 1 teaspoon salt However, I modified the recipe a little bit to suit my taste. Because in Vietnam we don't eat food that are too sweet, I reduced the amount of sugar to only 70 grams. That really works because last time I followed the ice cream recipe of Tasty and ended up with a batch of super sweet cream that I could hardly eat. So, please consider carefully before you start making these brownies. I used 65% chocolate for these brownies. If you use other types, remember to modify the amount of sugar based on the percentage of your chocolate. My brownies are not really sweet, full of chocolate flavor and really tasty! My family is not very fond of fat so I used 150 grams of butter instead of 170 grams. Next time I will try reducing more. About baking time, I baked them in 25 minutes in total. Different ovens work differently, hence you should watch out the time. You can use a toothpick to test whether the cake is fully cooked or still raw. The chocolate chunks I used are the same 65% chocolate but I wish I had added more to make the cake more fudgy. Next time I will try adding some extra chocolate chips. Don't fold the batter too long or it will become as hard as a bread dough. If so, slowly add some milk and mix them until you get the same consistency as in the video. Mine was still a little bit dry when I baked but the brownies came out so good. So these are some tips for you! Try it because this is super delicious! I'm waiting for my parents to come home and try these amazing brownies with me!
Hey ik this is an old comment but I wanna ask if reducing a little bit of butter made a big difference to your brownies? Like maybe less fudgier or something?
I made this recipe, and I saw some comments about the butter quantity, so I used 3/4stick of butter instead of cups, and I added some milk to achieve the creamy batter consistency they had. It turned out great and everyone liked it!!
These are by far the most amazing brownies I have ever tried. The flavour is just impeccable and the texture is beyond amazing. I would highly recommend reducing the sugar to 3/4 c. This an amazing recipie you should not miss out on. Perfect
I am making these right now! Will be updating! Update: I made this using Ghirardelli 70% Cacao baking bar for the ganache that would be poured into the batter, and then I used Baker’s semisweet 56% baking bar for the chunks of chocolate that were to be folded into the brownie batter. I also used Hershey’s Special Dark cocoa powder instead of regular cocoa powder because I’m not a big fan of brownies being too sweet. I followed Tasty’s recipe exactly and I still found the brownies too sweet to eat. The brownies were very decadent because of the dark chocolate that I used, but I wish I used less sugar. I used a 9x9x2 inch pan and I had to bake the brownies for 35 minutes instead of 25 because the brownies were a bit undercooked when I initially pulled them out. This gave the brownies a nice crispy top layer and a nice fudgy inside. (I am a fan of fudgy brownies rather than cakey ones) Tips: When melting the butter, chop it into slices to allow it to melt faster. I used my microwave and I melted it for a minute using 10 second intervals and about 5 seconds in between each interval. I didn’t melt it all the way. I melted it until only a few chunks of butter were left and just stirred it until it disappeared. Then let it cool while you chop your chocolate. When whisking your butter and sugar together, you don’t need an electric mixer. You’re going to have to whisk the crap out of it though until the texture looks similar to Tasty’s. (This took me about 5 minutes.) If you’re super into sweets, use as much sugar that is stated in the video. But since I got a headache from eating two bites of my brownie, I suggest probably using only 3/4 or 1/2 a cup of sugar when making these things. Lightly fold in the chocolate chunks. Mine were near the bottom when I cut into them. They didn’t sink all the way to the bottom but it’d be nice if they were on top of the brownies. If you’ve ever tried Pizza Hut’s Hershey’s Brownies, these taste practically identical to that. (If you made your’s like how I made mine) Good luck everyone! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! :) 2nd update: They taste better after I refrigerated them overnight, but they’re still too sweet. I made a second batch today with a few modifications and I’ll see how they turned out once they’ve cooled down. 3rd update: This time, I used Baker’s chocolate and I used the unsweetened one (100% cacao). Because of this, I ended up using the 1 and 1/4 cup of sugar. The brownies were just right for me! Not too sweet and were decadent! For the chocolate chunks, I used German sweet chocolate (48% cacao) and they weren’t overpowering! Still used the special dark cocoa powder and it was fine. The only thing that did end up changing though was the baking time, I left my brownies in for 30 minutes and they were too dry. So, I’d probably change the baking time to 25 minutes, maybe even less. Overall, I’m happy with how they turned out!
I am thinking of adding some Nutella with the melted chocolate and some marshmallows at the top but I am still thinking about that one maybe I will add a little at the corner of the pan

I use this recipe ALL THE TIME. A total favorite and my whole family loves it. I always top it with some flaky sea salt and that really finishes it off perfectly. Love it!
Best brownies I have ever made they tasted amazing and all of my friends and family loved them. The recipe is so easy and the ingredients are so common and simple so I would 100% recommend I need to make these again soon fr😍😍😍
samreena khan normal. Because you already add in cocoa powder I wouldn't personally use dark chocolate as it becomes a dark chocolate brownie rather than your original normal tasty brownie. Unless you want an extra dark brownie. I mean you could always get rid of the cocoa powder though and use all dark chocolate instead.
AYO I made these and they are amazing like seriously best brownies I've ever had, They were really simple to make and my family and I have at nearly all of it. I made it with a bit less chocolate chunks but it's so good. Hands down best brownie recipe ever 10/10 would eat again.
Made them today and after 12 hours they were still soft and chewy as if they were just made. Great recipe. Rather than a pan, I used my cast iron skillet and they were amazing.
I finally made them, and they we're great! A couple of things: I used a 4 oz. German Chocolate Baker Bar to melt and mix into the batter. I used a different chocolate - 4 oz. (a little more than a 1/2 a cup) of Milk Chocolate morsels - to just mix into the batter. I wanted a sweeter brownie. I was able to achieve the fluffy mixture of butter and sugar. It required a good amount of hand-mixing though. 25 minutes was not enough time to bake the brownies I made. I ended up leaving them in the oven for about 20 - 25 more minutes in total after taking them out in 5 to 10 minute intervals. They were just too raw for me to eat. Other than that, it's a great recipe that's pretty easy to implement.
Hands down this is the best brownie recipe and the most simple. I have been making this recipe for years. Every time I make it my family finishes it in a minute.
I made those today and they were SCRUMPTIOUS, honestly the best brownies I’ve ever made!!! They were fudgy, chewy and crispy on top 🤤🤤. Only thing I would have changed is the chocolate, I used Hershey’s semi sweet chocolate chips but I didn’t really like the flavor pf it (it was the only option available). I also reduced the sugar to 1 cup and added half cup brown sugar and the other half regular sugar, it wasn’t too sweet, just perfect!! Definitely recommend this recipe
I’ve made this twice now and it’s absolutely lovely. Thanks for sharing, the first time I made it was with plain sugar this time I used icing sugar ( both were great ) but I do find I can’t use the hand beater SO I cheat and use an electric stand mixer, works out just the same but a lot easier on the wrist and hands. 🥰
These are literally foolproof and the best brownies I ever made, in the first try only they had a crackled top, and were gooey and chewy from the inside. Literally the best!!
So, I made these and they turned out GREAT! Very fudgy. I added semi-sweet and a bit of dark chocolate in the mix to make the flavor a bit stronger. It turned put great! Also, instead of adding cocoa powder I grated my own chocolate, and it just made the recipe that much better. I loved it!
I just made this and my whole family loved it and kept asking for another piece, i felt proud of myself once in my life in front of my family, thanks tasty xD ❤
Just made these today, they're divine. They're not annoying after a while nor do they have an after taste but I learnt the hard way that Cadbury chocolate is not your friend when making these. They still came out somewhat gooey but not the same as in the video
About a week ago I made these brownies and so many things went wrong but they still tasted amazing and me and my mom inhaled it in 1 day 1. I didn't achieve that smooth consistency of the butter and sugar so the sugar sank in the bottom and caramelized 2. The chocolate pieces sank too and formed a layer that stuck 3. It was waaaaaaaay too sweet 4. 20 min was definitely not enough So today I remade them and made some modifications I used this recipe with "the art of brownies " meaning (butter with chocolate) and I heated half a cup of milk to melt the sugar then added the eggs... Left it in the oven for 50 min It came out PERFECT 👌 👌
The Baking time of brownies greatly depends on the size of pan you are using. Depending on the dimensions the times should be adjusted by anywhere from 10-30 minutes.
Little Psycho I tried to make it yesterday and i faced all these issues too , I will try it soon but this time I will take your modifications into consideration Thank you
I don't know why everybody hates tasty. Every single recipe I tried from it ends up absolutely AMAZING. Especially these. This brownie recipe is the best one yet.
I just made one today following this recipe.. But only had one pan 9 x 9 inch. Had to double the ingredients. Turn out as expected .. Gooey, chocolaty And fudgy. My kitchen smell heavenly with chocolate. And bake for 45 minutes.👍👍👍🏼👍🏼
Guys the size of the baking tray is 8 inches, I’ve seen a few people commenting it’s 9 inch however in the description of the other video he made on these brownies there is a recipe and in this recipe it says to use an 8 inch square baking tin :)))
Yeah, I saw in the comments people saying 9", but at 1:00 you see his hands. If that was a 9" pan his hands would have to be massive. EDIT: Yeah I just made them, no way it's a 9 inch pan, I used a 8" and it looks just like them. You'd have a brownie pancake if you used a 9"
these brownies are by far the best brownies I have ever made ...earlier I thought that these wouldn't be too good, but they were amazingly chewy and heavenly fudgy , tasty hands down
"This dessert is the perfect combination of indulgence and nostalgia. It takes me back to my childhood, and I can't wait to relive those delicious memories. Such a fantastic recipe!"
This was delicious! However, when I used the recommended amount of butter, the bottom of the brownies had excess butter stuck to it when they cooled. It looked white, and the texture got wet (it was hot outside when my friends ate them). So, I would recommend reducing the amount of butter (and sugar bc they were a little too sweet) by two to four tablespoons.
This recipe works really well.....I live in India, so I used the Amul Dark chocolate, everything else was the same. I also added some walnuts and had it with ice cream...OMG, it tasted divine❤️
Did u use combination of dark and milk? Did u exactly follow the same recipe? Amul dark chocolate is it cooking compound ones or normal chocolate?please reply
Dear Tasty, I have tried baking before and always, ALWAYS failed miserably. This is my first baking success so thank you so much for this recipe and I must say they were soooo good. Crusty and Chunky and perfect!!! ❤️ Thank you thank you thank you 😘
This recipe really works! Although I had to adjust a bit to make sure it won't be too sweet or too salty... 230 grams chocolate (half dark chocolate and half milk chocolate) 155 grams butter 130 grams sugar (100g of brown sugar and 30g of white sugar ) 2 eggs 1 teaspoons vanilla extract 96 grams flour 32 grams cocoa-powder 1/4 teaspoon salt It was a success!! I loved it!!
These really are the best brownies. I even substitute with coconut flour and coconut sugar and sugar free chocolate to make them keto and everyone loves them.
I made these today and they turned out amazing. the only thing is it definitely does NOT look like the ones in this video but tastes really good either way 😂 tip: don't add that much sugar. I only added half a cup and it was already really sweet. because once you add the chocolate in it makes it even sweeter. but then you gotta be careful with the cocoa powder ratio. but its fun! keep trying guys. I'm not the best baker but made some pretty delicious brownies :P
No way. When I added the cocoa powder, it made the batter extremely bitter because it was unsweetened. If anything, add more sugar if this happens. It makes them taste so much better!
I made this and here are a few things: - Add 1/2 tbsp baking powder, because mine didn't rise without it - Add 1/4 cup oil, or water, so it's not too dense. - I used brown sugar and it turned out fine. I loved this and it was an amazing brownie! Highly recommend y'all try it.
Hi, brownies are unlike cakes. Typically, they are not expected to rise at all. Cakes, on the other hand are meant to rise a lot which constitutes for their airy texture. I understand, though; that you have a personal preference of brownies. I would suggest you to watch Laura Vitale’s recipe for a cakey brownie. They might fit into your expectations. :)
Have listed down the recipie :- Chop a whole bar of chocolate (8oz- 1 cup) 100% cocoa ( Since there is a lot of sugar, you wanna make sure there is more cocoa in tge chocolate to balance out the sweetness) (Melt 4 oz or 1/2 cup and save the rest for chunks to add in later) 3/4 cup melted butter (250 ml) 1 and 1/4 cup sugar Whisk until it becomes a smooth paste A mixture of 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 tablespoons of vinegar (30 ml) ( I used this mixture in place of two eggs cos I am a pure vegetarian) 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence ( 10 ml) Whisk until smooth Add the melted chocolate (4oz or 1/2 cup) 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour ( Sieve ) 1/4 cup Cocoa powder ( Sieve ) 1 teaspoon salt ( Sieve ) Mix till batter is smooth Add the rest of the chocolate chunks ( 4oz or 1/2 cup) Mix Add to 7×7 inches/ 20×20 cm square baking pan (Make sure it is greased with either cooking spray/butter/oil/parchment paper) Bake in 180 C oven for 20-25 mins If you are using convection microwave, set the temperature of 180 C for 15 mins first then gradually increase time by 5 mins and see texture till it reaches 20/25 mins ( Since convection cooks faster, yoy wanna make sure that you have not underbaked or overbaked.) Thanks....
I made these a couple of months ago so sorry for the late reply, but I just gotta say, this was AMAZING!! I REALLY loved the recipe, and yeah, it's just wonderful. Thank you so much Tasty!!
It was the first time that I tried preparing a brownie and I followed your recipe! To add a personal touch I added a few dry fruits because that's usually how I prefer but OMG the brownies were just FABULOUS!!! My family is now OBSESSED with them! Thank you so much!
THIS IS A MUST TRY FOR SURE! I have made brownies from this recipe quite a few times and they turned out so yummy.I made these and served on our last bbq night as a desert dish,EVERYONE LOVEDD IT AND WANTED MORE :")
This really is the best brownie recipe ever. I make sure to have my batter really really thick through each step. That’s how I get the perfect brownie. I mix a LOT and a LOT, very vigorously!! I know that as long as my batters really thick, it’ll turn out great!
After many failures with other recipes, this particular recipe stood out. Got the perfect texture, only thing is that, the amount of sugar needs to be reduced, was way tooo sweet. Apart from that would surely follow this recipe henceforth. Thank you Tasty! :)
Made it yesterday. Well it sort of fell apart but the taste was AWESOME. But it's a step up from just watching this video's. To be honest I binge watch tasty...😂😂😂
These are just divine. I was worried when I took them out of the oven because I waited a few minutes and when I bit into one, it was pretty cakey. But an hour later they were completely fudgy. Here are some things I did: - I used chocolate chips instead of chopped bars, so for whatever reason when I melted them the consistency was pretty thick. I added some milk to thin it out so it was like the consistency in the video. - I thought the amount of sugar Tasty listed was wayyyy too much so I used about 3/4 of a cup. I made sure to whip the butter and the sugar to the creamy texture that was shown in the video, for this I had to use an electric mixer. - I used Hershey’s dark chocolate cocoa to further suppress the sweetness, so I recommend that for people who like that dark chocolate taste. - When I poured my batter into the pan it was a lot lumpier than in the video. The brownies still turned out amazing but I didn’t get that crinkly top. It might have been over mixing, so maybe add the chocolate before completely folding in the flour to get a smoother consistency.
For me it was the other way round. When I made the batter it was very thick but it ended up just like in the picture. Best brownies I ever made! I actually used a mix of chopped choccolate and choccolate chips
230 grams chocolate
170 grams butter
160 grams sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
96 grams flour
32 grams cocoa-powder
1 teaspoon salt

This concerns me too, but I understand why
They waste so much
I think that they actually scrape it off camera, so we don’t have to watch it as it is tiresome to watch for some people

sólsetur I didnt find it sweet. It’s rich?
me and my friend made this today by yourselves and they turned out great :) we're only 12 so if you want to try it but think it's too hard, just go for it! here are some tips/hacks that you may need while doing this:
- use baking chocolate. if you use normal everyday chocolate, like cadbury chocolate, the melted chocolate would not melt properly and it would harden again really quickly (even at room temperature)
- if you happen to not have white sugar, ou can substitute with brown sugar! it tastes just as good :)
- do not put too much salt. make sure to flatten out the top of the measuring spoon before pouring the salt into the batter
- let the melted chocolate cool down for awhile before adding into the mixture! if not, the eggs may cook!
- do not over mix! if you do, the batter will come out really thick and it would have a cake-like consistentcy after baking, if you happen to accidentally over mix, don't worry! just add milk until it has about the same consistentcy as the batter in the video :)
hope these tips/hacks helped you! good luck with your brownies

about the toothpick. the tip works with cakes but not exactly with brownies so you check to see if there are cracks on the top for a fudgy brownie. if you do the toothpick tip then you’ll end up with a cakey brownie if thats your preference.
Easy. Quick. Fast.
Why I love Tasty.
KXNG they make it look fast. in reality it's SOOOOOOOOOOO long. they just speed it up so the video isn't long and it'll be convenient for people

Aren't quick and fast the same thing xD
These are perfect. I baked mine slightly extra (about 30 mins) because they were a little *too* fudgy. I think it's because I couldn't help but add extra melted chocolate. They turned out super fudgy and dreamy and then set up perfectly the next day. Honestly the best brownies I've ever had. I'm making them again tonight because they've become highly requested.
did you follow all the instructions and ingredients or did you made modifications while baking?
i’ve made these brownies many times and now they’re my go to recipe! i would definitely suggest them. a few things i did wrong the first time:
-not waiting for the chocolate to cool before mixing it in, the eggs could have cooked
-folding the batter too much after adding flour, forgot where i heard it makes the consistency of the batter not right and i think they come out more cakey or something?
-i also bake it for longer than them but my oven is probably different from theirs
-and a little sea salt to garnish never hurts!
to whoever plans to make this, have fun and good luck! :)
Thanks this really helps
How much time it will take on electric oven or gas oven any exact time ... and how much time it will take on stove ? Plus any tips to make n mix it perfectly
hmm im not super sure, but if you want to cook them a different way i would look up a recipe that focuses on using that specific cooking method, and to mix it well i normally just fold it with a rubber spatula
what sugar do they use? i can’t tell if it’s white sugar or granulated sugar
@@osoretex1166 i use granulated sugar for these
I notice tasty has alot of "the best brownie you'll ever eat" videos.
They just have two. This one is a run of the mill kind of a recipe with simple techniques involved in the making. The other one is a more evolved recipe that was tried and tested several times.
Personal opinion I like this one more
Yes
Which is true?
this one is the best tho
My daughter has made these 3 times now..we found them sweet even after adding less but the next day after making it seems to settle and taste perfect. Love this recipe
I made this, and it took like 45 minutes. But omg these are the best brownies anyone has ever had!!!! Absolutely amazing.
zainab haque ahh that’s the thing I hate, my oven is so different and it’s never how long it says inthe vuds
Got the perfect fudge (baked a little extra so that it isn't too gooey) and the winner - the perfect crusty top 😍
Things I did:
•Used semi sweet chocolate chips.
•Reduced the salt ! 1 tsp is wayyy too much. I added 1/4 tsp and even that brought in the needed saltiness.
•Added a tbsp of flavourless oil (I had seen it in some other recipe that it gives extra moistness to the brownie)
• for someone who doesn't like too much sweetness , reduce the sugar a little.
• I used 1/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup regular white sugar. (Again , brown sugar adds to the flavour of the brownie)
Enjoy y'all !
I just made these brownie today and they are really amazing!
I used the measurement in grams interpreted by Lisa J in the comment, which is:
230 grams chocolate
170 grams butter
160 grams sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
96 grams flour
32 grams cocoa-powder
1 teaspoon salt
However, I modified the recipe a little bit to suit my taste.
Thx
Hey ik this is an old comment but I wanna ask if reducing a little bit of butter made a big difference to your brownies? Like maybe less fudgier or something?
@@lilcactus3854 it will probably make the brownies a little less moist but u can replace a bit of the butter with oil

Why do I find these helpful tips AFTER I BAKE THEM 😭😭
I don't understand why can't they put ingredients in grams.
It's on their website
Because they're American and they measure in Cups. It's incredibly easy to find a conversion site if you don't want to go to their website.
Because in the us and Canada we don’t use grams we use cups
Rahul Singh don’t forget part of the world uses grams
What is a gram of saying this and I'm like what is this
I made this recipe, and I saw some comments about the butter quantity, so I used 3/4stick of butter instead of cups, and I added some milk to achieve the creamy batter consistency they had. It turned out great and everyone liked it!!
Serina Lee so did u just put butter in as it was without melting it
These are by far the most amazing brownies I have ever tried. The flavour is just impeccable and the texture is beyond amazing. I would highly recommend reducing the sugar to 3/4 c. This an amazing recipie you should not miss out on. Perfect
I am making these right now! Will be updating!
Update:
I made this using Ghirardelli 70% Cacao baking bar for the ganache that would be poured into the batter, and then I used Baker’s semisweet 56% baking bar for the chunks of chocolate that were to be folded into the brownie batter.
(I am a fan of fudgy brownies rather than cakey ones)
Tips:
When melting the butter, chop it into slices to allow it to melt faster.
(This took me about 5 minutes.)
If you’re super into sweets, use as much sugar that is stated in the video.
(If you made your’s like how I made mine)
Good luck everyone! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! :)
2nd update:
They taste better after I refrigerated them overnight, but they’re still too sweet. I made a second batch today with a few modifications and I’ll see how they turned out once they’ve cooled down.
3rd update:
This time, I used Baker’s chocolate and I used the unsweetened one (100% cacao).
Amybelle Ordona so how much sugar do you suggest? 3/4 or 1/2 c?
great suggestions! thank you~
Audrey Laras I used 3/4 of a cup :) and it was a little bitter so I used a slightly lesser dark chocolate from Ghirardelli. Hope this helps!
I am thinking of adding some Nutella with the melted chocolate and some marshmallows at the top but I am still thinking about that one maybe I will add a little at the corner of the pan
How many people does this serv ? Please reply

callie can you plz tell me 8 oz means...?
Mahi Ahmed convert it on Google bro
What did u use cooking choclate or normal choclate???
samreena khan normal.
Don't worry I tried brownies with both and me being a chocoholic I couldn't stand the dark brownie (with cocoa powder) AT ALL. It was just bitter.
AYO I made these and they are amazing like seriously best brownies I've ever had, They were really simple to make and my family and I have at nearly all of it. I made it with a bit less chocolate chunks but it's so good. Hands down best brownie recipe ever 10/10 would eat again.

When I made these I halved the recipe but used an 8 inch square pan but they were very thin so just use and 8x8 pan and you'll be good!
I made it too, following the recipe but it's liquid inside the cake

Did you use dark or milk chocolate ? Thank you
Made them today and after 12 hours they were still soft and chewy as if they were just made. Great recipe. Rather than a pan, I used my cast iron skillet and they were amazing.

I finally made them, and they we're great! A couple of things:
I used a 4 oz.
And they’re sooo much better when you place them in the fridge
I’ve made this twice now and it’s absolutely lovely. Thanks for sharing, the first time I made it was with plain sugar this time I used icing sugar ( both were great ) but I do find I can’t use the hand beater SO I cheat and use an electric stand mixer, works out just the same but a lot easier on the wrist and hands. 🥰
Hey don't we need to use baking powder?
I’ve tried this recipe a few times and everyone loves it. I also add 1 tsp of coffee along with all the other ingredients.

@@lilykenley9104 definetly. Infact oil gives way better texture and fudginess to brownie then butter. Use vegetable oil and you'll thank me later.

Hey don't we need to use baking powder?
@@tanyavarma4326 Nope
Just made these today, they're divine. They're not annoying after a while nor do they have an after taste but I learnt the hard way that Cadbury chocolate is not your friend when making these. They still came out somewhat gooey but not the same as in the video
Which chocolate did you use then that got you better results?
About a week ago I made these brownies and so many things went wrong but they still tasted amazing and me and my mom inhaled it in 1 day
1. I didn't achieve that smooth consistency of the butter and sugar so the sugar sank in the bottom and caramelized
2. The chocolate pieces sank too and formed a layer that stuck
3. It was waaaaaaaay too sweet
4. 20 min was definitely not enough
So today I remade them and made some modifications
I used this recipe with "the art of brownies " meaning (butter with chocolate) and I heated half a cup of milk to melt the sugar then added the eggs... Left it in the oven for 50 min
It came out PERFECT 👌 👌
Little Psycho mine didn't come out like they came out on the video they were good but they weren't fluffy and 20 minutes was enough to cook them.
The Baking time of brownies greatly depends on the size of pan you are using. Depending on the dimensions the times should be adjusted by anywhere from 10-30 minutes.
Little Psycho this is very useful information, thank you so much for making the time to share

Attention Tasty:
You have got to mention the dimensions of your baking dish for the recipe to work out as perfectly as yours.
Lathifa Shifana its a 9 inch square pan. Its written in the official recipe on the website
looks like a 9x9 to me
Pretty obvious that it’s a 9x9
Ikr. You can READ the official recipe bruh
Stop hating for just the pan size. Even if yours is small u can make 2 batches.
I'm nine and I made these today. They were awesome!!! They were fudgy, chocolatey and gooey. One of the best brownies I've ever ate.
I made these today and they turned out amazing. the only thing is it definitely does NOT look like the ones in this video but tastes really good either way 😂
tip: don't add that much sugar. I only added half a cup and it was already really sweet. because once you add the chocolate in it makes it even sweeter. but then you gotta be careful with the cocoa powder ratio. but its fun! keep trying guys. I'm not the best baker but made some pretty delicious brownies :P
Please answer, did you use Dutch cocoa powder or normal?
Same here it tastes very good but doesn't look like the same fudge as it's shown in the video
No way. When I added the cocoa powder, it made the batter extremely bitter because it was unsweetened. If anything, add more sugar if this happens. It makes them taste so much better!
Supersoccerchic are you for real? I’ve cut the sugar by half and still the brownies gave me a 3 day long sore throat
when all the flours were sifted it had a really cool ombre affect
TRU OMG THAT MADE MY DAYY THANKS ;) :)
I made this and here are a few things:
- Add 1/2 tbsp baking powder, because mine didn't rise without it
- Add 1/4 cup oil, or water, so it's not too dense.
- I used brown sugar and it turned out fine.
I loved this and it was an amazing brownie! Highly recommend y'all try it.
Adding baking powder would make cakey brownie. which few people likes not alot.
This is a hit recipe… you can never go wrong with the recipe…turned out soo gud ❤
Thank you, Tasty, for this recipe. Literally the best brownies I’ve ever made!
Have listed down the recipie :-
Chop a whole bar of chocolate (8oz- 1 cup) 100% cocoa
( Since there is a lot of sugar, you wanna make sure there is more cocoa in tge chocolate to balance out the sweetness)
(Melt 4 oz or 1/2 cup and save the rest for chunks to add in later)
3/4 cup melted butter (250 ml)
1 and 1/4 cup sugar
Whisk until it becomes a smooth paste
A mixture of 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 tablespoons of vinegar (30 ml) ( I used this mixture in place of two eggs cos I am a pure vegetarian)
2 teaspoons of vanilla essence ( 10 ml)
Whisk until smooth
Add the melted chocolate (4oz or 1/2 cup)
3/4 cup All Purpose Flour ( Sieve )
1/4 cup Cocoa powder ( Sieve )
1 teaspoon salt ( Sieve )
Mix till batter is smooth
Add the rest of the chocolate chunks ( 4oz or 1/2 cup)
Mix
Add to 7×7 inches/ 20×20 cm square baking pan
(Make sure it is greased with either cooking spray/butter/oil/parchment paper)
Bake in 180 C oven for 20-25 mins
If you are using convection microwave, set the temperature of 180 C for 15 mins first then gradually increase time by 5 mins and see texture till it reaches 20/25 mins ( Since convection cooks faster, yoy wanna make sure that you have not underbaked or overbaked.)
Thanks....
Thanks... This help me to understand better..

Artsymermaid did you use a sugar powder or just normal white sugar ?
Mine took a lot longer to cook also. I used Hershey's chocolate though. Haven't tasted it yet😬😬
Artsymermaid
What good-quality chocolate did you use?
yes mine also took longer to cook and it wasn't fudgy plus toooo sweet
Aiskacang Dotcom Maybe it wasn't fudgy because you cooked it longer?
After many failures with other recipes, this particular recipe stood out. Got the perfect texture, only thing is that, the amount of sugar needs to be reduced, was way tooo sweet. Apart from that would surely follow this recipe henceforth. Thank you Tasty! :)
Made it yesterday. Well it sort of fell apart but the taste was AWESOME.
But it's a step up from just watching this video's. To be honest I binge watch tasty...😂😂😂
Me: “Oh look, I can do this!”
**Also me: trips over air**
Omg this is so me
I made brownies today. Accurate recipe. My family was so happy. Delicious. Thank you very much for giving us a good recipe.
Can i use oil instead of butter
These are just divine. I was worried when I took them out of the oven because I waited a few minutes and when I bit into one, it was pretty cakey. But an hour later they were completely fudgy. Here are some things I did:
- I used chocolate chips instead of chopped bars, so for whatever reason when I melted them the consistency was pretty thick.
The amount of times I’ve watched this video 😂
Straight out 😂😂
same lol ive yet to do them
sameee
I come here every now and then
