This was one of the first rpgs I ever ran simply because I LOVED the setting so much. The campaign ended with the party teleporting into the inner chamber of Himself, then when the council of demons guarding him rushed in and asked how they got in their a player answered "Himself let us in" completely forgetting he's not supposed to be able to interact with the outside world. They roll to convince the demons and get two 6s. I only then reveal the gravity of what they said, and decide that the situation is so buck wild Himself decides that this will be the moment he breaks free and is unleashed upon the world.
@@InsecureCreator Sitting there waiting for him to realize he'd dug his own grave was so beautiful. And the look on everyones face when I revealed the gravity of what they'd just said was one of my favorite moments in my history as a GM. Side Note: the Hungers Red Word option for Dread Sorcery is so strong, you can black mail tons of people into doing whatever you want.
I discovered Kill Six Billion Demons exactly a week ago, and I am absolutely thrilled to discover it has its own TTRPG! Found the story by way of lancer, and I named my character’s Blackwitch “Cioelle” to honor the connections.
If I make one I'd have to play a bit more to see how they feel at the table but I'm for sure planning to make more content about this game and the comic
Sounds like how many othe Powered by the Apocalypse games, based more or less on the original Apocalypse World rules, work. Roll 2d6 plus your attribute, 7+ is a hit that might have some consequence and 10+ is a very good hit.
Yes it follows Powered by the Apocalypse pretty closely but this video is targeted at ttrpg players with little experience with other systems (my group has mostly been playing with the DnD system) so I thought it would be good to explain even the basics.

@@InsecureCreator awesome! I’ve been reading through them and seeing the examination of the archetypes / playsheets would be fascinating.
