- Hi guys, I've been working really hard on this top list of my favorite 20 perfumes with ylang ylang. This vest of episode focuses on the beautiful yellow flower that has been used in perfumes for many years and I totally live it weather it's the main Player or a supporting note. However, I find it's quite underrated these days in modern perfumes so please let me know how do you feel about ylang ylang and do you have any fragrances with it?

I find it's quite underrated these days in modern perfumes so please let me know how do you feel about ylang ylang and do you have any fragrances with it?
We have Safanad by PDM in our collection also a great one with Ylang Ylang
Growing up in Hawaii, I love yang ylang. The school I went to had ylang ylang trees in the gardens.

Hi Yana! I love Ylang Ylang. I own Perris Montecarlo extrait, also love the edp. I have a sample of Oud Jaune Intense and I love it, it's on my wish list, but very expensive. I also tried Ylang in gold, I liked it but didn't buy a bottle. Now I'm very curious about Sincere by Ilk, I put it on my to try list. Thank you for this amazing video! 😍

I am a huge yellow flower fan! Some of my favorites are Psychedelic Love, Voulez-Vous Coucher Avec Moi, Champaca Absolute, Bond no 9 Queens and Safanad. 🏵🏵🏵

Ylang-ylang is my absolute favourite note. I have chanel gabrielle original and essence, ysl supreme bouquet, scandal by night, terracotta

Dark Orchid is really good, I've got a sample. I was wondering are there any masculine scents with ylang-ylang. I noticed your outfit and yellow makeup before you even said 💛 it. Your effort does not go unnoticed. You have so many ylang-ylang perfumes it's amazing. You really put your heart and soul into this video review. Cecile is in my top 5 too! How are the other ones? And thanks for noticing the details 🙏masculine ylang? I'd recommend La feu by florotropia it's perfectly unisex spicy ylang and Jaques Faths... Woddy and yellow but it's not a masculine note at all to be honest 💛
When I was younger there was a perfume from a brand (I won't mention here) my mother wore that was Ylang Ylang heavy and I didn't like it - at all! Lol..It took me many years to realize that not all Ylang Ylang is the same. Now - I am becoming a bit obsessed with it! I like a creamy, powdery or cleaner ylang ylang - I just don't do many dirty smells - the exception on this list being Black Orchid! I own that and Initio Psychedelic Love...There are so many on this list that sound amazing that I was a bit overwhelmed...LOL! I will watch this again and narrow it down to 2 or 3 for me to try! I am interested in Apricot at the moment - Are there even a lot of choices out there with the note of Apricot??? Thank you for all your wonderful perfume wisdom! xox
Yes, for apricot I'd recommend truth, freedom beauty love (not sure if I put in the words into the right order😅) by 4160 Tuesdays. Or classic-Tresor. I am kind of curious now what that ylang was that you didn't like?
@@Tommelise I hate to be negative to anyone but I guess as you fragrance experts would say - It is all just a matter of opinion - what one person loves another might hate! Especially when it comes to smells. But, my mother used to sell AVON - I'm sure you know who they are. They are an American beauty and cosmetics company that uses everyday people to sell their products...They have some great products too! I mean today they have grown sooo much, their cosmetics and skin-care are actually really good...and I enjoy some of their fragrances too- Like, Velvet, Prima, Vetiver Cherry..But, they have a line called Far Away. The original Far Away came out in the early 90's and then there were a bunch of flankers...It is supposed to remind you of vacationing somewhere tropical or beachy I'm sure - Ylang Ylang is very present in it but for some reason I did not and still do not like the way this fragrance smells! It IS sickeningly sweet and strange to me...So, I used to be like - "I hate ylang ylang." But then I realized there are some just GORGEOUS, like hypnotic ylang ylang fragrances...So. THANK YOU for your suggestions! I am going to explore some of your recommendations for sure! xoxo

That's what I call a list! Unfortunately I only own Black Orchid so far, maybe I should dive deeper into the cosmos of Ylang Ylang and start with the one by Perris Monte Carlo - I adore this classy and shamefully underrated house...

@@Tommelise I also liked Velvet Orchid Lumiere as I smelled it on a friend, but my memory is bit blurred by all the other fragrances I smelled in the meantime. And now I remember I also once smelled Ylang in Gold in a store. So many perfumes, so little time :)
Have you tried new release of Michael Kors Gorgeous & Super Gorgeous EDP? these features Ylang Ylang prominently.. & notes also read quite good.
I’m looking for a feminine ylang ylang perfume strong in the ylang ylang, jasmine, and neroli (or orange Or orange blossom) with a little sweetness like vanilla or coconut notes and also a little woody or spicy undertones, something balanced between sweet and woody, with minimal powdery notes, which ones would you suggest?

@@Tommelise As a stand alone accord, not really; but I do like how it smoothes out others like vetiver and sage. Almost like a slightly sweet butter.

I did first review with salvatore ferragamo nishe collection it's name is white memoza,, its powdery and so classy perfume and definitely unisex , sure you will like it, but try to find it bcs it's defficult to find these days 😊💗
