A little story: when I was 6 I was at my grandmas farm doing idk what but I decided that I wanted to sit on a sand pile that I saw( I never knew it was a fire and nest) and I’m guessing you guys can tell how that went for me

I got bit/stung once on the little toe in Florida and hollered so loud the preserve I was in went quiet for ten seconds. This man gets bit and stung over and over and over again and keeps on talking without a single cuss.

My brother ended up stepping in a fire ant hill once when we lived in Texas. They were EVERYWHERE and when he got bitten/stung so many times all I could do was watch in horror before he ran off crying and wrapped cold, wet paper towels around his feet and no one could find him until an hour later, still bawling his eyes out it hurt so bad. I only wish back then he had what you did at the time of this video. Would’ve saved my poor sweet brother so much pain.

@@seanwhitman4365 yeah I got into a fire ant hill when I was a kid. It does burn when a lot get you, but the individual stings aren't very painful. It's the build up that really hits you. I honestly didn't know I'd been stung at first until my feet started burning.

About 5 years ago I was stung by something in the dark in the woods and I have never known what it was. It was awfully painful and i was kept awake most of the night from burning pain and muscle spasms. After watching this video am I certain it was fire ants.

European fire ants are fairly common where I live.. I remember when I was around 10 y.o, playing hide and seek and went to hide into this bush. -not knowing their nest was just beneath it. I got bitten literally all over my body because there was some in the bush itself too, not just on the ground. Lol. Screamed my whole way running back home and didn't wanted to play hide and seek for a good while.
I was gardening with grandpa in Finland; they had a nest in the dirt. I got stung on my hands several times, and I've also had experience with getting stung on my feet. Samperin kusiaiset!

I feel this so much. One time I stood on a mound not knowing it was there. didn't know until the onslaught began.
i actually experienced this because when i was in my garden i stepped on a fire ant nest and then around 100 on them came out and swarmed my leg,the pain was so intense i almost cried soooo be careful at your garden

I'll grab it with a paper towel or tissue depending on the size. Right before I flush them down the toilet I look at them and say to them " You come into my house and disrespect me and my family..I don't think so, there's only one place you're going and that's a watery grave!" XD

Also, I'm sure that you watch Coyote's vids a lot and have seen him pick up roaches, centipedes, etc. Ask Coyote, I'm sure he would tell you the same, it's not unusual to find a roach in the house sometimes. They come from outside and they will find their way into houses one way or another. You act like houses are airtight sealed where nothing ever gets in from the outside! XD
Cyote at this point endures the most pain that we fear of. Whether it be ants, wasps, or xenomorph sea creatures.

And there's nothing wrong with that... those of us living in Texas have dealt with the scourge of fire ants bites many times. The little pustules can take a couple weeks to completely heal. Even a few bites are horrible to deal with.

I live in Texas so these ants are constantly getting me I at least get stung by these ants at least three times a year and it hurts every single time it’s usually on my foot in fact I got stung a few weeks ago also just to let you know don’t wear socks when you have one all it does is irritate the ant bite

I ordered fire out on Amazon after seeing this. I have been needing something to keep with me in my geocaching kit. I got bitten a lot unfortunately last spring. Once was even when I was standing under a tree and a fire ant literally fell from the tree onto my arm.

@@elias_xp95 same i hate those little buggers. I work on a dairy farm and i went up into the top of the sheep barn (my boss has sheep too) to get hay down and a bunch of mud wasps started droping from the ceiling and flying around me. That was the fastest i have ever been down that ladder.
Well getting swarmed by bees is definitely worse since it’s not a simple matter of pulling them all off. Hell Coyote got his face warped by a failed honey bee mask. It’s just the sheer quantity of fire ant stings that makes it as bad as it is, and he intentionally lets them stay on his skin as long as possible lol.
Man i feel so bad for all the pain he goes through to just teach us stuff to not do

I remember when I was a little kid around age 6, I was at a friend’s farm and while my mom and friend were talking, I literally was standing on a fire ant pile. I instantly felt sharp pain on my feet (I wore slippers) and I looked down and saw ants all over my leg. My mom and friend heard me screaming so they saw me covered in ants so they lifted me onto a truck and started slapping the ants off my legs. I still remember that day and it was hell. A lesson from that day was to always look at where you are standing or where you are going.

Yeah my sister has a fire ant bite that formed into a mole and you can still see it this day. Like 20 years ago, their bites are no joke to your skin.
I used to have a lawn service down south. I got bit and stung so often it didn't even hurt anymore. It was more like a nuisance, and I would just brush them off.

I have accidentally stepped on a fire ant home while taking a picture of someone but I didn’t wanna be rude so I kept taking the picture while I was SUPER uncomfortable! It felt horrible and I was itching for like 2 weeks

When I was 4 I stood on an fire ant hill for like a solid minute before I ran away from it screaming from it. It was so long ago but I can still remember seeing my legs covered in them. I was bitten so bad I spent a few days laying in my parents bed with my legs covered in neosporin. My older brother who was with me desperately swatted them off of me and ended up with dozens of bites on his arms. It was so awful that even though I was that little I can still recall it so clearly/
