This alone is why i see So Mis ending as superior to Reeds. The way the music seamlessly transitioned at the end, as i was still feeling all of that emotion. Going the distance to save someone who the government was intent on using as a weapon. To stick a finger to the corpos in a way that actually hurts. Beautiful.
Yes, this ending is so much better than the other one. It made everything that happened worth it in a way. The only thing I really liked about the other ending was going into cynosure
Man, you have to be blind to see any So Mi ending as good. She used V 2 or 3 times(depends will or not you kill Reed). Above that when you pay attencion you could see she will be gone before she gets to the moon. So If she lives she will be used by Myers or Mr Blue Eyes. Regardless if So Mi lives there are big unknown consequences for the games world.
@@samuelp307on my first playthrough I did So Mis ending and I have to say that after completing Reeds ending today it is far superior to So Mis, the content with the cynosure facility and the much more challenging and thought provoking choice at the end to spare or kill So Mi, contrasting the choice to kill Reed or hand over So Mi in her ending is pretty simple because if you have gone so far to get her there you might as well commit to it fully. At the end of the day I believe So Mis ending is 7.5/10 while Reeds is 10/10
@@Riten. As someone who just did a blind playthrough of Reeds I was curious because it FELT like a 10/10 emotional transition through the credits. I was stunned like after a good movie coming back to reality. Really didn't know how they could even match that with the other ending MIND YOU I probably liked So Mi more than Reed as a Character but she logically wasn't going to have a happy ending regardless because of her backstabbing history so I Chose Reed. I don't know if a game has ever made me cry so hard even if I 100% felt like she bit the logical conclusion to her actions. Gut wrenching is a word I don't think Ive ever felt compelled to use before.
Welling up at the music, remembering the deeply emotional & tragedy of their story. Astonishing.

You can't find it on spotify sadly, it's only earable in game while taking So-mi's path in Cyberpunk's DLC Phantom Liberty
