Barriss deserting the Inquisitorius would make sense, but I'm also wondering if she might be set up as a main antagonist for the potential Ventress/Path show. Gives us a new inquisitor with wide open storytelling possibilities since we haven't seen her yet, and I'd bet Asajj has a lasting grudge they could play with after Barriss tried to frame her
I’m surprised the appearance of a younger-ish Thrawn in the trailer hasn’t led to a huge influx of questions about whether we’ll see Eli Vanto… so anyway, with a younger-ish Thrawn in the trailer, on a scale of “zero” to “let’s face it, probably not”, how likely is it Eli Vanto will get an on-screen appearance? 😂
@@mynameajeffblack8265 He's part of Thrawn's canon backstory; first appearing in the 2017 novel simply titled "Thrawn", Eli Vanto was an Imperial Cadet who was not given much respect by the Empire due to his origins from a "backwater" part of the galaxy. When the Empire first encountered Thrawn though, Thrawn didn't speak much Galactic Basic and Vanto was the only person who had a language in common with him. Vanto served as Thrawn's translator whilst he learned Basic, and remained Thrawn's aide even after the language barrier was no longer an issue. He was sent off by Thrawn to make contact with the Chiss Ascendancy, and we know he successfully made contact, but what happened after that hasn't ever been explored or addressed, and a lot of fans have been very curious as to what happened there. Since these Tales of the Empire are going to be focused on Morgan Elsbeth, it's highly unlikely we'll get any continuation of Eli's story, but if the scenes with Thrawn take place early enough in the timeline, he might get a cameo.

When Savage Opress dies in TCW he releases all the Nightsister magik in a cloud of green smoke, but the original body remained. It could be that Morgan simply possessed Marrok instead of killing him.
Q&A: Near the end of the Tales of the Empire trailer, we see Barriss running towards the Fourth Sister fighting a Mirialan Jedi with a blue lightsaber. Could that be the Seventh Sister before she became an Inquisitor? Maybe Barriss will somehow be the reason for the Seventh Sister becoming an Inquisitor?
First Clone Wars S7 finally brings the satisfying end to the show; then Bad Batch S2 finally brings back the Zillo Beast; Ahsoka, while having a lot of problems imo, finally brought back Ezra and Thrawn; and finally, Barris has returned! At this point, give me a Satine-Obi-wan Show and a young Dooku show, and I'll die a satisfied fan.
Q&A: In the trailer, we see multiple of what seem to be clone troopers in dark grey/ black armor guiding Bariss in a hallway. (One of them says the line: “Be glad your not a Jedi anymore.” In the trailer. Who are these guys? Why are they at the Inquisitor HQ? Are they members of Crosshair’s elite squad from bad batch? If so why do they sound like clones?
I keep hearing that people think that Vader will hate Barriss, but I think it will play out very different. Barriss rebelled against the Republic before Anakin fell. I think part of his justification for becoming Vader is that the Republic was corrupt. He has distain for all of the inquisitors, no doubt. But he may think she is more sincere in her fall/switch because she did so before Anakin took a knee to Palpatine. I predict he will tolerate her just the same (or more) than the others. I think it is more about his ego - ie. if she had beat him and escaped during tcw then he would HATE her. But he won, so he knows he can take her out at any time,so he may *shrug* hate her less than the others.
We know that Vader personally spars against the Inquisitors to teach them loss, what if she senses that Vader is Anakin like Ahsoka did? I feel like she'll sense the same hatred she felt when she duelled anakin at the temple and he'll pick up on it. That might be how she dies
I disagree. I think Vader would have a huge amount of hate for Barriss. You are right, that she would be someone with similar views as Vader, rationaly speaking. But the thing is, I don't think Vader thinks rationally like that. Vader is very much an emotionally driven character. He doesn't really believe in the rational of the empire, deep down he knows it's wrong. But he is full of hate for everyone else and most of all himself, cause of all that's happened and what he did. So I think when he sees Barriss he sees the person who put a wrench between him and Ahsoka, seperating him from one of his most loved people. And that was also a major reason of why he turned to the dark side, so he would probably partially make her responsible for that too. Vader will always look at people trying to see what he can hate. Because that's just who he is

Q&A: Since we know that the upcoming Tales of the Empire was confirmed to be Season 2 after Tales of the Jedi. If they're going to announce a Season 3 for Tales of the Star Wars Shorts, which Tales do you think LucasFilm will go next after Tales of the Empire, would it be like either Tales of the Rebellion telling shorts on some of the Rebels, Tales of the Reminants like Moff Gideon &/or Dr. Perrsing for example or they might go with Tales of the First Order telling shorts on any of the First Order like Kylo Ren &/or Captain Phasma for example?
I would guess the next will be Tales of the Rebelion, then Tales of the New Republic, then Tales of the First Order, and then maybe Tales of the High Republic.
I’ve seen some youtubers say, why Elisabeth? Why Offee? Why not a Greavious or Thrawn or Ventress story? Well probably because we have those canon stories in books and comics. We already see criticism about changing Caleb Doom’s story in Bad Batch or the change to Ahsoka in Tales of the Jedi. Best pick characters that won’t change the canon of other characters that have been featured in other media.
Q/A - Did Dooku bleed his own kyber crystal, or did Sidious make him bleed Yaddle's crystal? Are you playing/collecting the new Star Wars Unlimited card game by Fantasy Flight?
Speaking of whether Barriss will go full dark side or try redeem herself in someway made me think of a third option. That option is to basically abandon both Jedi and Sith and simply live life as a healer on some remote world, a kind of blend of the legends characters Caleb and Darovit; the former have no affiliation with either Jedi or Sith, while the latter was at some point a Jedi then a Sith before becoming something of a healer himself (Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, Darth Bane: Rule of Two). I know these are legends stories but with Barriss past as a healer it just feels like the right ending for her: she can start by trying to heal herself spiritually and then expand that healing outwards to help those in need. Plus keeping her alive somewhere in the galaxy leaves it open for her to appear in a future series, including Ahsoka season 2.
I hope we don’t get a Barriss redemption but then again , where would she go ? We know the identities of the inquisitors so we’ll see! Loved the Dathomir/ Grievous scene! I’m such a fan of Star Wars Animation, I prefer it!

There are alien characters/species in star wars (Maz, Dexter Jettster) who have lived for hundreds of years and have first hand experience with the jedi, so how is it that anyone could have forgotten they existed? Especially between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.

I think it's kind of hilarious that the one person the Bad Batch has dealing with that Omega can't influence to become a better person is a Trandoshan. It furthers the portrayal that all Trandoshans are inherently bad as a race. I know that's not true, and there are good Trandoshans in Star Wars, but you wouldn't know that if you only watched on-screen Star Wars.
