Another big announcement? 😲 Do you want us all to have a heart attack? 😲 What is it? You close your channel and just cruise around the world? What what what? 😲
Wow, one of the only times I can recall that I’ve found nothing that I would really change. Perfect in every respect. Thanks for the tour of such a great boat!
Living up in the north I would like total enclousure of the flybridge, thermo-glass with windows and doors to open, maybe floorheating. Other than that I like the layout, straight and simple...
The trawler is my favorite type of yacht. I live in the Seattle area, and it would be perfect for cruising and exploring the inland waters of Washington State, British Columbia, and Alaska, as well as the Columbia and Snake rivers. Thank you for another wonderful yacht tour! And Victoria: again, rocking' a sweet ensemble :) Rico, you need to step it up ;)
Outer Reef owners love their boats and will keep you awake for hours describing all their features. As far as I know their cruising range is not as good as Nordhavn or Bering but the Outer Reef has a higher cruising speed. At a price point I believe they are 'cheaper' than a Nordhavn and close to a Bering (when looking at second-hand prices). Which one would I buy - each and every one of them if I could? Thanks Nauti for another excellent Trawler review, oh and I love seeing you wearing tops with the logo I gave you they look fabulous, let me know if you want a couple more ideas.
The refrigerator coffee maker is a K-cup coffee maker. You load in a K cup and press the brew button. Pulls in filtered water and heats it up then dispenses your coffee, then if you want Iced Coffee, the cubes are right there. Or you can get slushed ice for a coffee coolata type thing. My aunt has one of these. They are expensive and not really worth it I you think about it. But like in a boat, she has limited space, very limited so it's convenient.
@Konstantin Ridaya the machines get dirty Inside from mold and microbes unless you clean it every other week, it started making me feel horrible, overly expensive, wasteful and I dont care to leave my coffee to a luck of the draw on what happens to be in a plastic cup. A cheap espresso machine will make way better coffee without all the waste and it's clean everytime you use it
You two definitely are the best reviewers of any craft you tour. Your attention to craftsmanship and user friendly design features is memorable because you actually live aboard your own yacht. I love it when you find something to add to your NBB list, which has viewers doing the same. This trawler is amazing!!! I would love to see you take us on a tour of this builder’s latest model. Best wishes. (Can’t wait to see your new yacht/home.)
Man that boat is like the Tardis inside, can't believe how much room you have. I'd much rather have this style of boat with a wide beam vs something that does 30 knots. This is going to be more stable/less pitch/roll, better in rough seas. Not to mention all the extra space inside.
It doesn't have stabilizer(apparently) so it's still gonna roll. But I agree, this is the kind of room you really need to be comfortable, perfect for live aboard.
Good points. I just discovered this style of yacht and it is exactly what I would choose. These are so nice on the inside and so well built to handle the ocean waves. The first one saw was the Bering 77 foot and I was sold right there. Good bye cruel world and hello cruel seas. Things get any crazier and you can just get out to sea for a while. Live off your emergency provisioning until you reach a safe harbour.
I think you two may be the nicest, most relatable and enjoyable personalities on RUclips. I believe you'd be enjoyed on any variety of subjects/activities as well. Love seeing these amazing craft, particularly the older vintage ones. Thanks
I like the Cockpit. It has enough room for meals and games but it does not take up extra space. I like the hard surfaces over the Cockpit and sides of the yacht.Feels very solid. The Bow has very nice space for relaxing. Love the mosquito screen. The Salon is gorgeous! The kitchen is fabulous! Whoever designed the interior of the boat had great taste and smarts.Everything seems well thought out to make the best use of space and still be elegant! Wonderful Fly Bridge. The cabins are terrific. Whoever buys this boat will be very happy!!! Love from Vermont
4:37 I'm really liking that walkway around the boat. I really didn't think I would be impress by something like that until I saw it. It's the high walls, security, boarding ladder/staircase, overhead cover, grab rails, bulwark wall thing, everything combined. Makes it really great. Wow. Seriously, wow. It's a walkway and I'm really impressed. The swim platform area looks great too. Also the aft cockpit area does look very sheltered, and possibly actually a place where you might feel OK putting a cloths line for longer trips, because of the slow Trawler speeds and the plastic window cover. (Security from your clothes on the clothes line, flying overboard when you're not watching the clothes literally dry.
What a beautiful boat. Love trawlers. All the creature comforts of home plus the ability to handle rough seas. Oh, 55 inch on the TV. Rocco knows these things. 😉
I've been a regular viewer of your channel for a few years now and this yacht has got me the most excited out of all the boats you've reviewed so far. Why? It's the perfect size for a live-aboard -- not too big, not too small, and no wasted space. It offers all the amenites, is fuel efficient if you aren't in a hurry, and the fit and finish appears to be very high quality. Plus the design is timeless so it will age well. Don't get me wrong, some of the high end yachts you reviewed are really impressive, but this one seems quite realisitc in comparison.
Can't wait for you to visit the FLEMING factory in Taiwan ! I would love to see you tour some Flemings like the 65 and 75. And Fleming is building a NEW 85 and the first one should be finished soon ! No really , you should think about touring Fleming especially before China decides to invade Taiwan !!
So glad you finally got around to doing an OUTER REEF ..(if you get the chance you should tour an Outer Reef 80+) .. you did this right next to their newest OR-900 JULIANNE .. I think you would be so impressed. These are very seaworthy vessels, Class A Open Ocean yachts, and have a range of engine options. Great Tour .. thank you again.
Other than no external flybridge access this really is a fabulous boat. Does she have stabilisers? She's almost timeless in fit out. 2007, wow!! Love her!!
I think “massive” is a suitable adjective for TVs, storage spaces, etc. It’s close enough to 55” to give Rico the nod! Great trawler, really makes long range travel attractive.
That is a 55' TV. If you compare it to the size of the bed which is 64' wide, you can see that the bed is about a foot bigger a d even though TV's are measured diagonally, you can tell the size by measuring the X and Y axis on screen. (Actually I have no idea if that true but it sounds good!)
A proper trawler for a "proper" couple! C'mon bite the bullet and purchase this for your new liveaboard?? You two would look really good in this fabulous trans-ocean cruiser. Would be very nice for anywhere charters. Great to see my favorite KING and QUEEN of yacht tours on a trawler. Always look forward to your impressive and informative tours.
Thank you for such a fantastic video! This boat is just so practical and something that I could definitely see myself owning and living aboard. You guys are the best!!
I have been touring Outer Reefs at various boat shows. Great long range yachts. Great to see such a detailed tour of this one. Fun video as always. I’m like Rico with the food- more than one person has told me that I must have been an army chef in a former life.
I could see that being the next boat for you two. But, I maintain a power cat will be the one. I look forward to your videos. I am also sorry for the loss. God bless.
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure I’d even click on this because I normally just don’t find trawlers all that appealing, but I’ve never misjudged a boat by it’s cover more than this one. She’s absolutely beautiful! It’s simply amazing how much is packed aboard her in livable, usable space. I’m a huge fan of this type of wood interior, loved how the boat is laid out, just really enjoyed it. For only $1.6M, this is an affordable alternative home on the go for people my age who can telecommute, or have just decided to sell the house & retire young enough to explore the world. Great boat! Thank you for sharing her with us.
Before I watch the video...I thought we were gonna find out what boat you all bought this week?? I mean I love Outer Reef so I'm sure I'll enjoy the video, but I thought we would get the reveal.
Definitely a 55" TV! I think I enjoy your tours even more when you are exploring 😊. As we say in the south..."y'all are a mess". That's a good thing by the way! Can't wait to see your new home!
From the moment you ducked under that TV to show the storage under the fly helm, I just knew the outtakes were gonna show you bumping it! LOL, Definitely something I would do on a daily basis. 😁
You guys provide not only entertaining reviews/tours but they are very informative as well, the only thing that's consistently missing (only exception is when you show a Bering) is the class the vessel is in. A vessel can have an impressive range of 2000+ miles but still be restricted to coastal cruising by class, so whether or not a vessel is in an unlimited class makes a big difference. Is there any chance this detail could be added to the Specs?
The owner access to the engine room is my favorite feature. When I'm (hopefully) able to get a boat like this someday, I want to have easy access to all the mechanical systems myself, in case of emergency or if im alone on the boat.
RE: TV size in MB. Sorry, but it’s probably 42”! This is one of my favorite boats you’ve shown. Favorite meaning something I could realistically buy. What a boat!
What a nice boat! Let's see ... if I sold my house and car, cashed in my 401K and all of the bonds, and talked really fast ... I'd still be short (sigh). Thanks for letting us have a look!
I really love this. Such a great build and in terrific condition for it’s age. If you mentioned it’s range I missed it and would be keen to know. Sadly I see there’s no stabilisers whatsoever and that’s going to make any transAtlantic crossing wicked! Being located both in the USA and the UK to have the right vessel is paramount for our lifestyle. I’m very grateful for the tour and look forward to seeing your new vessel 🚢 soon 🫶🏼💫
I have been living with domestic frigs exclusively all my life,(not a boater :) and I've never seen a kurig built into a frig door. I wish I had that now. Keep making these great videos!
Our New Yacht/Home Video is next weekend! And another Big Announcement 📣 Mark your Calendars!! 😝🙈 Sooooo excited!!!

@@garys1665 Sounds good . Will watch for sure
Bring it on ……. Turn up the bass !
this is your new boat!!!!!
I want to call out the consistently amazing subtitles/captioning! I know how much effort and time it takes, so I REALLY appreciate it. Thank you!
Wow, one of the only times I can recall that I’ve found nothing that I would really change. Perfect in every respect. Thanks for the tour of such a great boat!
Sweet! 🙌🏻

That boat looked like it had just left the makers yard. What a fantastic boat and a great tour guys. I’m guessing it’s a 55in tv too.

Yup. I live in BC and would love to have that boat to go up and down the coast. It needs a gun safe though. Especially if you're going to Alaska.
@@loganpelletier And the Gulf of Mexico. LOL
Still can't get used to calling it Salish Sea.
Saturday morning date with NautiStyles did not disappoint!

The double stair on the stern is charming and I love the rugged expedition feel of this trawler and not modernistic.
Glad you liked it

If you can still get 1300 nautical miles at 12 knots, or even 700 at 15, it’s really more versatile than I think of trawlers being.
It’s a Fast Trawler
