Glad to see you taking great care of this LTD. HInt: if you can't get the positive battery cable off of the battery, remove the other end from the solenoid.
Man that thing runs perfectly smooth. That misfire is so very tiny, I can't really detect it through video but you could probably drive it as it is if you don't have any reduction in power or boggy downshifts...but if you're OCD like me the little misfire will bother you until you deal with it. Either way you got a smoth running old ford there
Morning my man. Good video. I had a slight mis fire in my '76 LTD. Removed, cleaned and re-gapped the spark plugs. All good. Btw, did you use extra tie-downs on the car port as I suggested in a previous post? Hay my man your doin great! Noooo doubt!
That 47 year old coil is going to outproduce that POS aftermarket unit anyday. You edit out all the parts -like removing the plastic clip from the coil - that can really help people learn how to perform this job. Is this entertainment or learning?
