I sadly found out the hardest way that people you are around have the truest impact on you, even habits run off on you, and you wind up thinking, saying, and doing things you would not normally do. Sadly, in my 20s and most my 30s, Mark 8:36 is the story of my life. Now I am struggling to see the end of my dark tunnel and rock bottom with spiritual eyes and struggling to keep the faith I will be on the other side of this. See, I come from all four sides of extended family, most of the popular and well loved, but are spiritual and have strong relationships with Christ and are followers. I been the outsider all my life, and I stepped so far out of my character that I lost respect for myself, and I still did not gain the world. But even If so, still not worth it because I lost myself, and more important, I ruined what relationship I could have enjoyed with Christ. If I will never be well received/loved like my parents, only surviving sibling, and rest of my family, so be it. However, I can feel Christ working in my life, and in me. I come to realize things I only wished I done so all along. And well, Jesus did spend time with outsiders in the Bible, and I'm sure He blessed them royally...A birthday gift to myself early next year, Mark 8:36 shall no longer be the story of my life, but so far removed in the past, I shall no longer have a reason to revisit any parts of my past because I become so far into a new life. I am a Chinese girl and I belong to a minority group. I always got bullied by some demons in my previous dreams. Each time I spoke of some words from Bible but things never went better, I saw these demons just stood there and looked at me as if I was a donkey. To be honest I was fucking scared in these dreams .I feel myself so weak , so again and again I turned to Buddism for help and speak of Buddist mantra. Surprisingly I find that through this way demons are dismissed easily. But I am sad, because I believe in God. By the way I am not a Buddist. In China Buddist culture is everywhere, it doesnt matter whether you are a Buddist or not, beause in terms of cultural identity, everyone here is at least half a Buddist I think... Whatever, one day in my another dream, I encountered demons AGAIN , then I recited the Lord's Prayer with a great fear. Nothing happened. Then suddenly there appeared a Jewish Bible in my hand. I know that book, I bought it from a foreign country recently in reality and it is very thick and heavy. Then I threw the book toward those demons. Then my condition improved. This is the only time that I use a Bible to beat these demons. And it is a Jewish Bible without New Testament. English-Jewish translation only. What does this mean? I am a Chinese student and am i supposed to speak Jewish or English in these cases??!!!! Since then i always got myself stuck in the confusion of God and religion. For me i dont care about eternal life or any promise , i just care about how can i protect myself from these fucking annoying demons through Bible and Christanity. The demons didn't listen to you because they don't believe you are a valid authority over them. You need to be closer with God, you need to make sure you aren't in sin and that your heart is pure. What I started doing was before I would chew the Tobacco or drank the alcohol I would pray over it rebuking it in the name of Jesus & one day a miracle happened.The power of Jesus touched me and I had no appetite for it no more. I can feel demons crawling under my sking LITERALLY.
