It is disheartening to see the other community persons doing poojai in our temple. The very purpose of constructing a new temple ,taking "pidi mann" from the old temple,just because ,it was worshipped by other community people also as village deity, has become meaningless.It is better to attend the old temple Pongal on last Friday of Maasi, when ,though not this much crowd, but celebrated in a grand and colourful manner..On those days the village people do not come for worship.Another important thing to mention here is, the families of the office-bearers of the Sangam ,attend old temple Pongal also...
I would suggest everyone, to get blessings of our Kula deivam, please attend the Maasi last week pongal of the old temple..
