There are a lot of different things that can cause big trucks to veer about. 99% of truck drivers are most concerned with safety but still, as we all know no one is perfect. I am blown away she allegedly admitted to the trooper she did drugs before driving. Honestly, why bother with the trial after that?
Not just that, but I’ll bet one of the things that was NOT mentioned is just how narrow some roads are. Guiding a 8’6” wide vehicle down a 9’ lane without touching the center or fog lines is near impossible, especially with curves!
Keep in mind a LEO can tell if you are driving normal vs drunk driving. I have seen drunk drivers on the road in broad day light. You can tell because they usually over correct when crossing the lines.

I play tennis five days a week and go to the gym 7 days a week, run four times per week, and Trooper told me I failed a field sob test, I blew 0.00 and drove off. They lie to you when you take those tests. I went to Post next day next and told the caption to his face that his trooper was a liar, he got mad and that was the response I wanted.
I can't believe USA is still using FST! It's so fricking subjective. Combined with lack of proper officer training, it's a recipe for cops lying and bullying people. In my country it's *mandatory* part of *every* traffic stop for the driver to undergo the breathalyser test. And *if* deemed under influence, the drug test.

I don't understand why they do not use breathalyzers and have people invest more time and money on more accurate road side tests. And mandate blood alcohol tests to be done in ever dui case. These road side tests are easily picked apart in court and easily failed. Glossy and blood shot eyes lack of balance and other indicators can be used as probable cause for a breathalyzer which can then lead to a blood draw but to arrest people because they have bad balance is stupid
One time 2 trucks stopped me from passing them . There was a cop 👮 they saved me. I stuck with them the rest of way till we went different directions .

In the UK it would be straight to a breathalyser. Also if bloods were requested by the accused the results would be available in days (not months as in much of the USA)
The REPORT on any results of ANY chemical blood test are available within a week after the test. The police and prosecutors then sit on the results as long as they can before they have to admit they effed up
In Canada it’s also straight to the breathalyser. If I can get the results of a urine sample from my doctor in 3 minutes so can anyone. Test urine once at the station. Then proceed to a blood draw if needed.

I'm 46 & I wouldn't pass. & Yep. Designed so the cop can decide. I saw on another vid of a cop, he said there is no "passing grade" etc. It's up to them what they decide it is. Here in Australia we don't use them, ( I've never heard of it used ever ) it's only breathtest over 0.05 & / or drug tongue swab. First breath test in car, second outside the car ( just in case it's perfume alcohol etc in your car) Then maybe blood ( I'm not sure after that ) Dui is taken serious here.

A star high school athlete failed a field sobriety test in Iowa one cold night. The video of it is here on You Tube, to me that says that the test isn't really isn’t any indication of guilt or innocence. Perhaps an officer should have to be administered the test in the same conditions right after administering the test to establish a baseline for testing in the current conditions the test is being administered in. We should also remove any and all quotas and incentives from officers for making certain arrests. Most importantly we should have any willful omission, tempering with evidence blow back on the officer times two, if we can double fines in a work zone we should double the penalty for the people we are suppose to be able to trust the most when they deliberately get it wrong.
When interacting with police use your 5 amendment. STFU 100% of the time. Next make sure you say I am invoking my right to speak to an attorney. Then STFU AGAIN! Lastly do not lie to your attorney, they cannot defend you without the full knowledge of what happened. If you don't feel comfortable with your attorney ask for a new one. The state has to provide one if you're indigent. Unless you're talking to your lawyer face to face without a recording device present STFU!!! Don't tell ANYONE ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING UNLESS YOUR ATTORNEY SAYS SO! People talk and the state wins! People self snitch all the time. Prosecution, Judges and the cops work together daily. Your problem with this is having to swear or affirm you'll tell the truth and not the 11 minutes of "lost" officer testimony, allegations of sexual misconduct on the trooper's part, or the flase report he filed. You're messed up in the head if that's what you're upset about.
