If anyone uses a permanent marker to black out their float tip, the ink can be taken off by using a nail varnish remover.

Really useful video, noticed no ground bait, just lose feed, so will try this weekend. How would I cope with silt everywhere, still use lose feed only ?

The silt tends to be less of an issue in colder water. But indeed loose feed can be great over silt.
