Head torch with a red light was a game changer for me. The little buggers don’t disappear.
    Great video 👍🏻

I used to fish with a guy that would hook his lobworms like you do, then he would stomp all over them.
He was absolutely mustard at fishing lobworms, and regularly won matches.

Great video Mick. I used to fish the North West canal circuit with Lobby's and the size of some of the Perch i caught was amazing. You would never have known they were in at that size with any other bait. Keep the Nufish products coming as a match angler i use loads of them. Cheers.

I've got a selection of old poles. A Maver Italica. A browning Black Magic and the original Daiwa Connoisseur built on the original mandrel. All three are still fantastic poles for silver fish fishing but utterly useless for carp. I think that was the difference back then. Poles were geared for silver fish and so didn't need to be super stiff. I remember when Ray Mumford started the trend of using elasticated pole crooks. Showing my age now, lol.

No chance in hell will I go anywhere near worms. I must be the only angler scared of the things. My daughter used to chase me around the garden with them I'd run a mile.. disgusting things
