    clean cut! dont even worry about how long it takes you bro hate when barbers feel the need to rush through a haircut rather than taking the time to perect every detail.. barbers like you are appreciated!

    hey, retired cosmo turned barber here in Calif. I never became that accomplished with fades, as i went from long hair to short hair styles. Your work is perfect, and your humble attitude is very very refreshing, so many artists and hair people have huge ego's

    This gave me a good laugh today. I used to cut hair in a salon and spa, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Guys would always fall asleep all the time and it made me so nervous. This gave me flashbacks, but great to see how you were able to handle it.

    Nice blend! Don't rush your client appreciated it and they do notice of you rush and get them out! Sometimes if I have a Client that's falling asleep during the line up, I'll put the head rest up and tilt recline the chair a little, so you can use the razor without the nodding.

    Ricardo, I really enjoyed watching this video! You are a master barber...an expert at what you do, in my eyes. I am an aspiring cosmetologist, beginning school this month. However, barbering has always been my hidden passion. I mean, I'm almost second guessing this cosmetology thing because my heart is still steadfast on barbering. I'm so eager about it. It just feels right for me. The only thing is, we have way more cosmetology schools where I live than we do barber schools. Actually, I don't know of any barber school here in my city. So, this is really why I'm doing the cosmetology thing because that filed teaches an array of skills, including a little barbering. Anyway, I just wanted you to how I greatly appreciate your gift, quality, and professionalism. Your camera quality was on point too!

    Hey guy! Thanks for the videos. I just graduated from Cosmetology School...working full-time in a salon now....I am doing men's cuts....love your tips...helps me allot. Going to watch the rest. Can you recommend a good clipper set? I have the Wahl standard set from school. Do you ever use cordless? I use a "peanut" as my small detailer.

    • @kikado3
      @kikado3  9 лет назад

      Cordless not as much no. If you like wahl get a pair of 5 star seniors with a pair of detailers. If you like andis get masters or envy with the outliners. Best of luck with everything.

    Blending at its best! I Recently started watching your video and I'm hooked, my question is as you said on the video you like blending from the top down besides raising the haircut is their any other issues by blending from bottom up? I just started cutting hair and tend to start off in the bottom up. Thanks and keep up the good work hope to see a Philly Fade video soon!

    • @kikado3
      @kikado3  10 лет назад +1

      What's up bud not raising the blend is my main reason but with my andis clippers they make sound when you cut the hair off. If I blend down I can tell how much hair is coming off just by sound alone. That helped me learn how to fade when I first for started.

      Hola Johny, pido perdon a Ricardo por responder esta pregunta. La diferencia de cortar la parte superior con tijeras, es que, con las tijeras se modela mucho mejor el corte, dando mejor forma a la parte superior y dandole un aspecto mas natural.
