¿Qué es la Iniciativa Spotlight?
La Iniciativa Spotlight es una alianza global entre la Unión Europea (UE) y las Naciones Unidas (ONU) que busca eliminar todas las formas de violencia contra las mujeres y las niñas (VCM). Con una inversión inicial de alrededor de 500 millones de euros de la UE y la participación de otros donantes y colaboradores, pone en foco la VCM como prioridad en los esfuerzos para lograr la igualdad de género y el empoderamiento de las mujeres de acuerdo con la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible. La Iniciativa se lleva a cabo a través de un fondo fiduciario multi-stakeholder de la ONU, supervisado por las agencias centrales del PNUD, UNFPA y ONU Mujeres, y con el respaldo de la Oficina Ejecutiva del Secretario General de la ONU.

¿Quién es la actriz Cecilia Suárez?
Galardonada con un premio Ariel y nominada al Emmy Internacional, Cecilia Suárez difunde conciencia sobre la violencia hacia mujeres y niñas, así como otras violaciones a los derechos humanos, alcanzando a más de un millón de personas en sus plataformas de redes sociales.
Desde 2018, la Sra. Suárez ha estado activamente involucrada en la Iniciativa Spotlight, con un enfoque particular en poner fin al feminicidio en América Latina. A partir del 1 de julio de 2020, fue designada Defensora Global de la Iniciativa de las Naciones Unidas.

ماذا قال الأديب النصراني جبران خليل جبران عن الإسلام؟
