What do I do when I have like 18 fiefs because Vlandia keeps giving me them because I’m a vassal and it’s hard to maintain that many and some are starting to rebel 😢
@@solemnsilence3650 you can also change some Kingdom policys (some increase loyalty, others decrease it) Ideally you want towns castles that match your culture. To avoid the -3 loyalty penalty. You can sometimes force unpopular changes if you are a high clan tier with enough influence. (It seems to help if the ruler likes you as well)

Very informative guide, with clear instructions. You seem very knowledgeable about the game and even after a year of this video release it is still helpful, thanks man!
Caravan escorts are recommended, it´s crazy income and you can auto resolve should you wish to do so. You can easily get 40k+ for a single escort with loot, prisoners and these escorts provide you with mounts for your party (loot). Recommended once you have around 60 tier 3 troops. This practically lets you stop in every target city for the caravan and do a tournament if there is one, more income or early gear. The most important tip in the video is to do mercenary contracts, it lets you in on the whole "kingdom" forth and back ordeal. I get furious under the leadership of the AI, so I usually just tend to strike at reinforcements I know I can handle and hardly ever join the big groups, these tend to be rather stupid in their decision making. As for the youth development, you can give them a small party to manage, I found it´s the fastest way to level their steward/leadership/scouting/medicine combined .... but it´s a waste of a party, it´s just a development party. Caravans just aren´t as fast for leveling youngsters.
You can leave the kingdom if you are a vessel with your towns/ castles the only issue is everyone in the kingdom will really dislike it. (Like neg 30 relationship with all the nobles in your forma kingdom, they will also declare war on you) The other way is to take a fief/s while independent you can take it from rebels or another kingdom. The problem here is that you might not be able to get it running well before the AI tries to take it. Both ways you need to appoint a governor to tell them that you are declaring that you are now a kingdom. It is also recommended to try to start off in a place where only one or two kingdoms will broader you as anyone with fief's close to you may declare war on you. Try to fight as many battles as you can for a kingdom before going out on your own AND release the lords as this builds relationship with them I think if it is above 25 they will not raid your villages.(it can also make it easier to recruit clans) You also want to have heaps of money so you can peace out when needed. (If you search bannerlord kingdom guide you should find a few good guides)
I built my kingdom without joining any other kingdom I would wait until they when to war and then I would start a war with the weaker ones and start raiding them and fighting them
Check out my bannerlord Playlist, there's some builds and other useful stuff. Also I'm making more content as we speak, so stay tuned. Thanks for watching!
As if we need an excuse to start a new playthrough - TW coming through with the updates lol Edit: My shortcut is to solo The Embers or Hidden Hand until they join a faction - it levels up the skills much faster than tournaments and the loot is generally worth it. More for the early Charm farming than money but we get about 25-40 renown for a blob of 50 (reducing as we level and gain renown) and they'll often enough have a leader running around with 80-90 mid to higher tier troops, sometimes a 40-60 renown potential for the first hit on him. Just pay attention to their troops and hit them when they're infantry or just have a few Equites and they're just rapido looters without the rocks [in the case of The Embers]. It's 4 or 5 good battles, some smaller ones and they join up with a faction and we make peace automatically. Then I can get on with the game and either continue the solo or start whatever the plan was for that playthrough. Until they leave and I can toy with them again, or not.. They sometimes have captive Lords we can free or troops we can grab - though grabbing troops will reduce our renown gain for upcoming battles, dramatically. It's entirely possible to be level 16 within a couple of weeks, sat on enough for a caravan or workshop and have some semblance of a character that might be worth following into battle. With the Vlandian 50 Roguery campaign builds, we'll often come out of it with some Lordly and Masterwork loot that we'll still be passing around the party 10 years later. *If* you want to play dirty, *whilst still neutral* we can engage bandits together with the other minor factions and then friendly-fire their dangerous troops. Then immediately engage them and declare war, having just removed any potential threats from the upcoming battle. It's dirty but when they have 7 Cataphracts and you have a Hunting bow and a Sumpter horse... It'll see you through. One *could* in theory [ahem] take out an entire party that way - picking up ammo from dead troops. Caravans for example. Works for those Nord-types that carry Harpoons too.. Oh and the Hidden Hand lol yeah anything with some form of range can be done Domino. And faction parties too but that's a bigger step than is wise at level zip.
Noted! This is more of a macro guide. I'm working on some more stuff. But this game is huge and I have to separate it smaller vids. Cuz nobody wants to watch a 3 hour guide haha 😄
Really nice video, but i have a question: after my first city was taken how should I proceed? Because everyone near me is like three times as strong so I don’t really know what to do to make my kingdom stronger
