My son who has autism has been watching these videos after school with me. He typically sits next to me & rests his head on my shoulder. At Thanksgiving, his 11 year old sister cooked the turkey & I made the sides. We set the table & called him in to eat. He sat down & repeatedly said, “decent presentation!” We were very grateful! Thank you for time. You have blessed our home, our memories & graced us with an opportunity for my son to express himself. That’s priceless🤍

Thank you for your great efforts. I don’t want to be truculent to say that these adjectives are difficult in both pronouncing and writing, they require esoteric knowledge to be easy but my knowledge in English is still nascent , whatever,I always feel I am so germane to all your lessons, watching your lessons became perfunctory work to me. You have never been austere with my comments, finally I wanna say all of these adjectives are new to me, so it is really a quintessential lesson for me.
Hi Aimanno. Thanks for commenting. It's always wonderful to see people practice using the words. Great job! 👍 Glad you enjoyed the lesson & hope you learned some new adjectives. 😊
I am only six years old,I want to tell my favorite adjective that I learned from you. It's "convoluted ". It's grateful for your lessons, I like it very much 😃👍👍!👩
I really appreciate you for teaching me 10 advanced English adjectives I have never seen before. May you be happy, rich and safe. And I love and respect you, sir. My favourite adjective is perfunctory.
Watching your videos became a "prefunctory" task for me. Today's adjectives are "germane" to those used in academic articles which makes them "esoteric". Learning them really paved the way to a "nascent" stage by approaching the advavanced level. Therefore, I would like to thank this "quintessential" channel for its valued efforts :)
Truculent, austere, capricious, defamatory, esoteric, nascent. Most of them very similar to portuguese. I would understand them easily. Thank you, Wes!
I like very much your teaching style. In this particular lesson I think that an appropriate closing was missing. I would have liked to see all the adjectives at the end in a chart or something like that. No matter what, I enjoy your lessons very much. Thanks.
A very very educational lesson indeed and I thank you for your contribution. However, germane and defamatory are very riveting adjectives....waiting for more videos Wes
I've never heard the adj "quintessential", well, I'm sure I've never heard lots of English words but I liked learning this one. I keep studying whenever I'm free.
Capricious-austere- germane - preposterous- perfunctory - truculent- after Wes explained/read it loud, it is much interesting to go through this video again and again. Thank you Wes!
Wow, that's great! I'm first time in this channel, and after watching this video I was impressed how many words I didn't know. Thank you for making my speech better and richer.

Thank you so much for this video, please keep them coming, you got my love :) I knew "capricious" from Latin and "esoteric" from Greek. "Germane" reminds me of Germans, who are known for being austere lol This might not be germane to this video but it's preposterous to live in an English speaking country for so long and to finally learn these adjectives on RUclips. Native English speakers are "too polite" to help immigrants improve their English (unless paying the big bucks). Please let me know if my remarks are defamatory and I am being truculent. Thanks again!
Hey Nick. Thanks for commenting & checking out the lesson. I don't think the comment is defamatory. I suppose it depends on where you live. When we were in California, there was an adult school close by that offered language instruction (among other courses) for very little money. 👍

Thank you so much for this video, please keep them coming, you got my love :) I knew "capricious" from Latin and "esoteric" from Greek. "Germane" reminds me of Germans, who are known for being austere lol
This might not be germane to this video but it's preposterous to live in an English speaking country for so long and to finally learn these adjectives on RUclips. Native English speakers are "too polite" to help immigrants improve their English (unless paying the big bucks). Please let me know if my remarks are defamatory and I am being truculent. Hey Nick. Thanks for commenting & checking out the lesson. I don't think the comment is defamatory. I suppose it depends on where you live. When we were in California, there was an adult school close by that offered language instruction (among other courses) for very little money. 👍
In France we also have "austère" !!! It does mean strict too, especially for food, clothes, living habits (opposite of opulent! 😅).

Perfunctory - done with little effort or enthusiasm, hasty, or lacking in attention to detail.
Example: The employee gave a perfunctory response to the customer's complaint, showing little interest in resolving the issue.
Truculent - aggressively hostile, inclined to fight or be argumentative.
Example: The boxer's truculent demeanor intimidated his opponents in the ring.
Austere - strict, simple, or plain in appearance, manner, or lifestyle; devoid of luxury or comfort.
Example: The monk led an austere life of meditation and self-discipline.
Capricious - unpredictable, impulsive, or characterized by sudden and unaccountable changes in behavior or mood.
Example: Her capricious nature made it difficult to predict how she would react in different situations.
Defamatory - harmful to a person's reputation, slanderous, or libelous.
Example: The politician was accused of making defamatory remarks about his opponent during the campaign.
Esoteric - known or understood by only a small group of people with specialized knowledge or interest; obscure.
