What thickest thickness of kydex you can use for that holster to where it has great retention but the pistol can be drawn very easy ? And what thickness of kydex was that holster ?
I found this video looking up how to make my own level 3 retention holster for my Ruger P89 since I couldn't find any commercially available. Needless to say, I just made my first purchase with you
I am old school. Give me a 1/4 inch hunk of leather and I am happy with the holster that results from my skills with it. No fancy plastic for me. Thats just me. I am just an old craftsman and like the old ways. Leather is more natural and the beef cows don't miss the skins when they are gone.
although i like kydex, i would love to get into leather making. i have a good friend who is embarking on that journey. i will probably film him learning as well. it really is a beautiful craft
How much for this exact holster? (But with belt loop, NOT QLS) Not sure what to do on your website because there’s no pictures (muh-reen here needing pictures) 😂 I have a belt loop
Turned out great!!! I'm with ya tho, those hoods are fucking haha Every time I see one of those I wonder why it's there, I know the purpose but just paying attention does the same thing Lol Just my opinion tho. I keep my faucet on cold when I have to make any kydex adjustments, get it where you want it and straight under the water stops any deformation immediately. Compressed air works but it's a few seconds slower, to each their own ;) Thanks man!!
Update! Was able to get a level two like this from Midwest tactical solution and I put the sentry on it, It’s a level three light bearing rmr compatible , qls duty holster
Very good video, I used it as a base to make the holster for my G22 with surefire x400, in Brazil I couldn't find holsters for this combination.

Would a g34 mold not have worked?
Too short. I looked at that first
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC oh gotcha, makes sense
I was curious about how you added comps now I know great vid
This may have been asked already but what makes this a level 3 ...nice work by the way.
That’s not a level 3, level 3 has a thumb or exterior finger release and a hood. Still a nice holster
What he said
So relaxing watching your videos

That just seems like an oxymoron, considering plastic fancy compared to leather. I wish there were more hybrids with both they are the future imo.
How much would you say (ballpark) that you have invested in your workshop tools?
Like just kydex or including my garage tools?
Kydex I'd estimate 3k. Garage is over 110k
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC It sure shows, you have a dream workshop there, keep up with the great work!
@@jaarriaga1978 appreciate you!
where do get the blocking for the light?
I make them
Love the videos. Keep it up. I’ve learned a ton.
Which dremel bit is that?

Wrong it’s level 2 still… if you put a sentry guard it’ll be level 3. I’ve been looking to get a als build for HK USP 45 w/ x300u-a and gg&g rail, Rdr
