    Thanks for this video. I like this summary. Maybe it would be nice to say a few words about what the problems are resulting from phase cancellation.

    • @produceinaminute
      @produceinaminute  11 месяцев назад +8

      Thank you for your comment! :) yeah like I said in the video « Ouf of Phase » can cause phase cancellations between 2 audio signals.
      What does that mean, is that your sound will lose the impact or create a weird sound because when 1 audio signal wants to « pump » the sound, the other one wants to « stop » it. Hope that make sense 👌

    Instead of ozone YOU CAN use SPAN VST

  • @awared.
    @awared. 3 месяца назад

    I think you made a mistake when you used bass mono in the utility. Because then you mix MID and SIDE in this frequency zone, and this can lead to a worse result due to phase overlap. And when you use the filter on the SID, there is still an unaffected mono bass frequency zone, so I think it is better.

      Mmh for me if my finished product sounds good on any sound system then there is no issue. Those are details, maybe their is still phase going on but at least I minimised a lot of them by controlling the stereo and this did the job for me :) there is probably better ways to do it for sure but I like simplicity 👌

    Thanks for the lesson .Do phase issues appear only in low/low mids ?

    • @produceinaminute
      @produceinaminute  6 месяцев назад +1

      You’re welcome! No not only in the low and low mid you could have some phases issues in the highs but they are not as noticeable as the low so we tend to leave them in the highs, as they are drown by the others sounds.
      But in the low, it’s really important to fix them to not lose the punch of your sound. Few instruments only sit in there, usually kick, bass, Toms, which are the core of your track so if you lose the energy around here it will dramatically change your track. 👍

    whats about lead sounds?

    • @produceinaminute
      @produceinaminute  3 месяца назад

      I would be more concerned on my sub but sure you can use it to any sound :) I make sure to control the stereo image on everything to be honest 👍

  • @heryck147
    @heryck147 6 месяцев назад

    It works in any instrument of my track or it's just for the basses? For example, if my main lead is out of phase, can I fix it with this techniques? Thanks a lot for the content!

    • @produceinaminute
      @produceinaminute  6 месяцев назад +1

      Sorry for the late reply! But yes you can use this technique for any elements that loses impact when converted to mono, I’m always making sure any sound that I create doesn’t sound too different from stereo to mono by controlling the stereo field 🫡

    • @produceinaminute

      I’m not sure to understand what you mean 🤔 it doesn’t really matter if your 808s plays different notes. I’m not sure if that was your question :)
