- So today marks the day I was brought into this world.
Major thank you to my late mother Janice Horn and my father Vince Kicknosway for being amazing parents through it all.
So with all the powwow videos out there I decided to make my own, with my own Deevo style editing to it.
Been wanting to make one of these since I was never permitted to have an edited video as a submission for all those online powwow contests.
fighting back... lol
this one is for me... to remind me that each day is worth it... and no also show what skills I have acquired over the years and what my editing will be like in the coming years.

I felt my feet moving to the drum. I am just now learning my tribes traditional dances. For me the drum lifts the heaviness from my heart and spirit.
Soon, we all will dance!

There was a couple of scenes such as 2:37 that showed beautiful clouds in the sky. The shape of those clouds are of a happy face. Even the sky was appreciative of that proud dance by that proud warrior. Dude, now that was a video!!!

Ahhh, those were the days. Harvesting birch bark or harvesting and repurposing quills. Shed hunting, mountain vistas, valleys that went on forever. The costumes and the dancing...skydiving....playing what's in your suitcase, finding a random? Friend on the mountain in the forest....artwork worthy of any museum...and now, you practice being a model? I watch this and compare it to the next one you did and all I can say is that I'm waiting for a new and exciting adventure. I just returned from a trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons that you inspired me to take. I wanted to see the mountains and valleys you documented so well from Montana and Utah. I didn't make it into Utah, but really enjoyed the scenery in South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming. Thanks.

@@jennac6954 Unfortunately, never been. I'm a creature of heat and as beautiful as NM is, the whole state is high elevation and cold.
Lol, but I've been aware of the beauty of the place since a preteen: Boyz 2 Men filmed a video there in the early 90s and it was on every time I turned on the TV for quite awhile. Even as a kid I was enchanted with it. 😍
