Megan doll, a dark color towel hides all the stains you wipe off while doing your makeup. For example, the leftover foundation on your hand, brush or mixing palette as well as when you wipe brushes from powder products. Its just courtesy and it makes me feel cleaner.

Hi Jenna! Happy Spring!!! Thank you so much for this Beauty 101: Questions For My Mom, segment. You two are truly adorable together! It is as if you are more like sisters at this point than the usual mother & daughter, although, that is the most cherished relationship, always. I actually think your mom's tradition of including a black towel when she travels and stays with friends, is a really great idea. It is thoughtful and considerate of the hostess. I suppose it wouldn't matter as much if you leave a residue of makeup on the hotel white towels because they are going to bleach and boil them in their industrial wash cycle, which is something in which you'd be paying for anyway. Again, thank you so much for such a fun vlog. Please, keep them coming!
I would love to hear about you alternative remedies, your burning sage rituals, baths to clean energy at night and cristals! Lol! Please!! You should definitely make some detailed videos about these 🙏🏼❤️

I do Jenna , I do have a towel just for makeup and taking off my makeup . If I go to someone else's house I take it so I don't ruin anyone's towels and I clean off my face the way I like too . It's not black though . 🌸 It looks like an artist drop cloth now ( even when washed ) I have a dry one that matches that I throw on my shoulder when I "paint" my face as well ...both a light purple hand towel size . My must haves.💄
I absolutely LOVE the black towel idea. I told my daughters about it, too. I think it is so thoughtful. Really. Think of all the towels that a hotel has to discard when they can't get the makeup stains out.

I buy black wash clothes for my face 😂 you are lucky to have such a wonderful relationship with your mom. I can tell by this video. I’m sure y’all had fights and such but your momma comes off as a really good mom. I have no idea what that’s like and I never will. But it makes me strive to be a great mom to my kids!

I have my essentials everywhere I go especially when I travel so I always have everything with me.1 of those is a clean small towel.Many don't know towels in hotels are rarely 100%clean!🥀🌻🌹

Hey Jenna, I know that this comment is a long shot, but I thought I would at least try. I teach a class in Cullman, AL. Channing's hometown. And 5 months ago, I got the crazy idea to write him a letter inviting him and you to our fitness class at our gym. We do high intensity dance fitness routines. Anyway, I just found out that he might be in Birmingham in April. I'm not sure if he was planning to go to cullman and if you would be with him..and like I said, this is a long shot, but we would love for y'all to do a class with us! We're a legit fitness class and just love what we do. So even if you don't respond to this or he doesn't respond to the letter; we just love your family here in Cullman, AL! 😄😄

The bathroom in the hotel that I stay at in Vegas always has a little black have towel in there that says makeup. I always thought it was so cute and even took one home but now I know what it's for! lol I just thought it was for display. ;)

I do not carry a black towel BUT I do carry disposal cloths or muslins because I don't trust hotel towel softness or cleanliness. I just imagine overload washing machines and what I've cleaned up of my kids on vaca and I just don't want to rub it on my face.

I missed the reason why you take a black towel with you. I use to always have a black hand towel in my car because it was a black BMW with Black leather seats that would burn the back of my thighs in the Summer time so I sat on my black towel and always kept it in my car. 💋
Towels are a great idea anyways. I keep a large beach towel and a small grey towel. Great for hiding things when shopping or whenever😍.

If I’m sleeping over somewhere, I do bring my own washcloth to wash my face to not get makeup on the host’s towels. I started doing that after someone stayed with me & ruined my nice towels with their makeup.
