The world doesn't work like that. Do not oversimplify. Oversimplification leads to big mistakes. There are dozens of policies that can be applied to Israel and each of the Muslim states that surround it. Biden has to consider the consequences of each on US relations with each of those nations. What Pres. Biden doesn't want, nor do you, I assume, is for American soldiers to get involved and killed. We've gone that route before -- Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq -- and ended up losing or destabilizing the country the US government claimed it wanted to help.

Frankly this is tiny talk. Israel has a right to defend itself, but Israel does not have the right to mass murder civilians. Hamas did a mass murder of 1200 Israelis. Israel then mass murdered over thirty thousand Gazans. This is not acceptable. The US must begin to speak and act with clarity.
By that definition, practically every case of urban warfare is mass murder.
This is the nuance so many people on both sides won’t admit. Israel has a right to defend itself, but how it does that must be controlled, and right now they seem to be inflicting damage with little consideration to the long term effects of alienating western allies and also Jews worldwide who have supported Israel for decades and now don’t even recognize a place meant so much to us. They say they are fighting this wad to destroy Hamas and rescue hostages, but Hamas isn’t just an organization, it’s an ideology and that can’t easily be destroyed. And they aren’t rescuing hostages, diplomacy did that. Netanyahu and his coalition are as much a barrier to peace and a two state solution as Hamas is.
Now ask yourself why the US continues to do nothing.
