I think when RUclips becomes a chore, taking a break is the best idea. Always remember your channel is primarily for you, so anything you decide to film, whenever you decide to film it, has to be enjoyable for you. Subs and views are nice and a bit of a guide to how things are going but I've realised that the people I interact with are more important than a number in the top of my screen. Enjoy AC/DC dude
Cheers Sean! You're absolutely right, when it's not fun and becoming a chore you should take a break. I think for me, because I haven't had the time to make as many videos as I would have liked it's just not been a priority for me. And yeah, I have to like what I'm doing, not worry about the numbers or anything. I'm going to try and make more videos of what I wanna do and to hell with numbers. Because the main thing is I'm doing videos I wanna do. You're absolutely spot on. Thanks man, can't wait for AC/DC! 😊🤘🏻🤘🏻
Hello Josh!!! Thanks for the life update. Your shift in perspective towards gratitude for what you have is a great outlook. General life definitely does get in the way sometimes and it’s hard to dedicate the time when you’re balancing “stuff”.
Also so excited to be working on a collab with you brother!!! This track is shaping up well and I can’t wait to get it out there. I've just come to the realisation I'm not going to hit numbers so I'm just happy with what I have and the community I've got here. Yeah, it really is hard to dedicate time when there's so much other things going on.

No worries mate. Just do what you've gotta do. Life can get in the way for sure. I have that experience as well in being here on youtube for 8 years. When you get the time for a video, you got the time. If not, that's ok too mate. We still be here if you upload a video. Don't worry. Don't be stressed. Take your time and try to enjoy/embrace life as well. RUclips is cool to do, but not all in life.
I know it seems weird from my mouth with all the uploads I do, but a lot of that stuff is pre-recorded and in que for a longer time. So I have some space and time if other stuff happens...
Anyway, don't worry mate. I still be subscribed and supportive. It comes when it comes. Thanks for the update. 🤘

I've always made time in the past, sacrificing other things. But now it feels it's the other way around, I'm fitting videos in when I can or sacrificing that time for other things. Thanks, yeah I'm doing my best to feel too stressed, and I will do my best to enjoy life. I know, RUclips just can't keep taking this amount of time away from me!

It's understandable, Josh. You have a life to worry about more than posting videos on RUclips. That's a number one priority. But, I'm glad you're doing good outside of RUclips. Yeah, only make videos when you feel like it. Also, gaining subs shouldn't be the only thing going. The interaction with like-minded people about similar interest should be the reason to do this. I'm late to comment on this, but I just watched your entire video, and I just wanted to say I understand, and I fully respect your decision. Life must be tough when you're dealing with shit on your plate. Other than that, it sucks to suck. You take it easy, man. There's plenty of great things in life you can choose. You're still you. Do whatever you feel like doing freely.

Cheers Trev! Yeah, sometimes feeling like you have to do videos all the time just adds so much unnecessary stress. I've been a lot less frequent with videos this year and it's certainly given me a lot more freedom with my videos. Plus it's given me a lot more time to put into other things. I don't like making up excuses either, but it's just difficult when I've wanted to make lots more videos but I haven't been able to. @therockbeast6214 Ahh yeah, I totally get that man. I've had to do a lot for my grandparents over the last few years, and it's increasingly getting more and more. My nan fell over recently so we've been taking extra care for her. But not only that, I am increasingly having to do things for my mum too. It's a never ending cycle. So I totally get it ☺️
