I would love to taste this fine exquisite cognac. I don't understand how someone can hate on someone's invention. I mean it's sole purpose is to make money no matter the price tag. If I could afford it I would definitely buy it. You only live once always remember that.
And frankly, if you don't smell what you're drinking (or eating for that matter), you're either missing out on a very delicious aroma or you might reconsider what you're drinking.
wow, 100 years of effort in a single bottle. A very antique cognac. Def worth a try if you have the money to buy it. One of those once in a life experiences for true Cognac lovers. I wonder what would be a good Cigar to pair with a glass of this Cognac?
This has nothing to do with the world being wrong. This Cognac is aged for a century(century in a glass) in barrels that are several hundred years old. This isn't a designer bag where you're paying 75% just for the name.
I can only imagine that cognac is similar to cigars (something for which I can have an actual opinion)…and really, cigars come down to your personal taste regardless of price. I’ve had a few Opus X, Cohiba Behike, etc. over the years and while those are *stupendously* expensive, I’ll enjoy a montecristo #2 or even a $10 Padron just as much any day of the week because that’s where my taste has landed me. If you can afford stupendously expensive novelties, there’s no reason not to go for it…but you have to temper your expectations. Sometimes cognac is just cognac and sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
This stuff taste no different then any other alcohol. I wasted a hundred bucks on a shot size taste and it was shit. They price it this way to make it seem special but its not.
I bet it wasn't the first thing you drank, you ever wonder why these ppl drink it like this? Because its ALL about the taste. If you have a beer or a glass of wine before, it messes up the taste buds and totally runis the experience. When you spend a good amount of money on alcoho l knowing HOW to drink it is more important that drinking it.
Amazing !.. though I bet people well practiced in the art of cognac tasting still will not see the price reflected in the aroma / taste. ..though I could be wrong....
A partner at my firm keeps a bottle of this in his office, unopened and untouched. No idea what he is saving if for, but $22,000 is an outrageous price. I prefer single Malt Scotch to Cognac/Brandy anyways. He can have his Louis XIII, ill stick to The Macallan.
Valium & Flowers I guess that's his plan. The dude went to HLS so we are sworn enemies (I'm a yalie), but he is a good guy. Maybe he'll let me try it one day.
I really hope not In some ways I'm glad it's hard for me to attain and afford the things I enjoy It makes me respect hard work and enjoy the little things and simple pleasures in life all the more. ya I often dream of being rich but I wouldn't trade my dignity for money I have a roof over my head, I get to eat every day, I have constant access to the internet, and I can afford to pay out of pocket for community college with my job in comparison to most of the world I'm very rich and I'm content
With respect I don't doubt the cognac is extremely fine and excellent quality and craftsmanship but at that price I could do so many other things with this money. But this has my couriousity to try this cognac.
Just booze. Good booze to be sure. Certainly not worth spending that sort of money on booze unless you really are one of the twenty people in the world that can discern the flavors and vapors. Which, you probably can not. Most people in the world can not tell the difference between a violin solo played by Joshua Bell as opposed to Itzhak Perlman nor can most people tell if the clutch on a Porsche GT3 is not adjusted correctly. So just have some of the regular Remy Martin XO which is fairly decent stuff.
Ok so my man just sipped a 23k bottle of cognac and the 1st thing he does is starts asking questions. That’s the definition of not believing the hype 😭
Sniffing cognac is like eating roses People that are trying to taste in cognac something other than what it is really missing the point of what good drink is all about
Each to their own. I don't like to slam other people's passions. But I truly don't believe this Cognac would be all that much better than other super premium cognacs that cost far less. I've had Cognac just a few times and enjoyed it. But the notion that a bottle of Cognac could be worth that much is ridiculous. But hey, it's not my money. If people are willing to pay it, then it's up to them. It's their money.
I could never afford this, and I don't suspect I'll ever have the pleasure of tasting it. But that's what I hope it would be, a pleasure. If you drink just to get drunk, of course you won't appreciate something like this. Yes, it's a bit eccentric and out of the question for most of us to buy, but come on. There is no way I will enjoy a 24 pack of bud light better than this. I can think of better things to spend 18 bucks on, like going towards a bottle of something with good taste, smell and character. Be that beer, wine, spirits, food, whatever. Some of us enjoy the experience that comes after excessive alcohol intake, and others of us enjoy the experience that gets you there. But there's nothing more wrong with the world here than with anything else.
Flavour of walnut and dry fruit for 22k ? God seems ridiculous bag of walnuts 15bucks bag of dry fruit organic may I add 20 bucks 2lbs 35 dollar grand total seals this pleasure ?
I can't afford 22k on a bottle but I had the pleasure of drinking a 300dollar bottle of remy Martin xo and I'll be honest a bottle of fireball a cinnamon drink i enjoyed more price 18 bucks so the thing is drink what you enjoy not what's expensive may not even taste good.
Nonsensly over priced, overrated, and frankly only made to show off rather than be a specialty. This is marketing at its finest, sad for Forbes to report on nonsense material.
oh and the remy martin guy just pisses me off, he's pretentious and his mole is staring at me too much. For the price of that bottle he could get that mole removed around 60 times -_-
I would love to taste this fine exquisite cognac. I don't understand how someone can hate on someone's invention. I mean it's sole purpose is to make money no matter the price tag. If I could afford it I would definitely buy it. You only live once always remember that.
Maybe you can save up some money for one glass of it if you can find a place that serves it.
Everything costs more than a Toyota.
Darko except an old toyota
Toyota’s have some of highest resale value. So not sure what your talking about.
Mr Dead is that you!?
Especially gas right about now
And frankly, if you don't smell what you're drinking (or eating for that matter), you're either missing out on a very delicious aroma or you might reconsider what you're drinking.
was waiting for that Forbes scrub to ask, "what is cognac?" and "what is a barrel?" and finally "what is cognac, again?"
wow, 100 years of effort in a single bottle. A very antique cognac. Def worth a try if you have the money to buy it. One of those once in a life experiences for true Cognac lovers. I wonder what would be a good Cigar to pair with a glass of this Cognac?
This guy looks like the German chanceller
Imagine he sneezed into it accidentally!
I prefer my Louis XIII with coke and rocks.

Let me get that bottle when you are done
-pour some $12 Salignac in it and make some major profits!
That bottle is actually quite expensive itself.
This has nothing to do with the world being wrong. This Cognac is aged for a century(century in a glass) in barrels that are several hundred years old. This isn't a designer bag where you're paying 75% just for the name.

Man something that expensive I wouldn’t even want to drink it. lol it’s like gold
This stuff taste no different then any other alcohol. I wasted a hundred bucks on a shot size taste and it was shit. They price it this way to make it seem special but its not.
Sadiq • or... They baited and switched his ass

L JAY HVH JONES facts
fukqyou asszhole that’s why you are poor and you always will be
Imagine a cellar master who was pissed off at their employer and messes up the barrel on purpose - no one will know about it until 100 years later!
In 100 years none of the original blenders will be alive and they’ll think that how it was supposed to be 😆
Amazing !.. though I bet people well practiced in the art of cognac tasting still will not see the price reflected in the aroma / taste. ..though I could be wrong....
Very nice...
What's the difference between the Rare Cask Louis XIII and the regular Louis XIII?
About $18,000
I wunna chug that bottle
0:45 - Whoops, 10$ on the flloor.
At $22,000 id save it for the apocalypse, lol.
Valium & Flowers I guess that's his plan. The dude went to HLS so we are sworn enemies (I'm a yalie), but he is a good guy. Maybe he'll let me try it one day.
You should drink it when he's not around and replace with it cheap Remy.
That's look so good sorry I can't afford that...
nothing wrong with dreaming......😋😔
I really hope not
In some ways I'm glad it's hard for me to attain and afford the things I enjoy
It makes me respect hard work and enjoy the little things and simple pleasures in life all the more.
ya I often dream of being rich but I wouldn't trade my dignity for money
I have a roof over my head, I get to eat every day, I have constant access to the internet, and I can afford to pay out of pocket for community college with my job

That’s the definition of not believing the hype 😭
Yall see that one drip 😂😭
Sniffing cognac is like eating roses People that are trying to taste in cognac something other than what it is really missing the point of what good drink is all about
My mind could only wonder what $22,000 taste like
Taste like chicken.
Person who made it never get to taste it. Crazy!!
If shoenice was still around he could jug the bottle
i would of bought a cask...of a reasonably priced, good malt whiskey
Nectar of the Gods

You probably right. I bet they fake all that shit. I mean it's easy to say. 100 years, that business would die. Lmaoo
$3500 for something aged 100 years? I'm sure it will cause more. They refilled that shit.

L'art et la maniere du savoir faire francais...
WIth 50 billion dollars you most likely would have bought the whole cask.
Is it just me or does every cognac review taster smells “dried fruit”?
Ill finish this off with an Old English :)
Flavour of walnut and dry fruit for 22k ? God seems ridiculous bag of walnuts 15bucks bag of dry fruit organic may I add 20 bucks 2lbs 35 dollar grand total seals this pleasure ?

Don’t drop the bottle!
when i drink, i dont stand there and smell my drink!! lol
The cellar master’s voice works like a cheap Kung Fu movie. Just think they have drunk a whole toyota engine...
seriously? 24 pack of bud light = $18
you will enjoy it more.....
Would have been totally hilarious if he had slammed it as a shot.
At :46 they lose a drop of it. That's the equivalent of a year's worth of oil changes on the Toyota you could have bought. LOL
do the Snoop Dog and pour a Coke on top of it....watch her reaction
Its great mixed with Diet Coke.
🥃🤩
I personally can't stand the smell of alcohol, especially hard liquor. It makes me nauseous. For $22K, I'll take the Camry, Bob. JAJAJA
I have Remy Martin Grande Champagne Age Inconnu 1938, king George VI original. Who buy it ???

Not sure I’ve ever seen how someone can understand one language like English and speak only i and respond in French. Wtf

BY TAKAPU
"Louie Trey remmy martin" I mean do some research before hand. Americans.
Stupid. I could have 50 billion dollars, I still would not buy this. There is something very wrong with this world.
Only crypto self mining can give you such money now
So much fluff... Humility of waiting 100 years!
He drink 2000 $
This guy said $22,000 by mistake in reality it only cost between $2300 and $3000 so it's still expensive but not crazy expensive

Sad boy.
Nonsensly over priced, overrated, and frankly only made to show off rather than be a specialty. This is marketing at its finest, sad for Forbes to report on nonsense material.

Sorry.....I couldn't get past the coco puff on her chin.
I prefer coke zero
Take this quarter, go downtown, and have a rat gnaw that thing off your face!
Give me a bottle of this and it’ll be gone in 30 mins
oh and the remy martin guy just pisses me off, he's pretentious and his mole is staring at me too much. For the price of that bottle he could get that mole removed around 60 times

This is pointless
