So who wants Sandi to keep Billy? 👍 Edit: it looks like Billy needs to be a keeper. Gifting him to Belinda might be the right choice. Sandi? What do you think?
Hello from Tasmania, Australia. 😊 I don’t even know why I’m here. I don’t even like sheep. I don’t even live on a farm. But yet still here everyday. Constantly learning sheep information that I will never have a use for 😂😂
Yeah, you definitely need to keep Little Billy. He'll help you on your way to establishing your own little flock of black sheep. And just think about it, the black wool has to be separated anyway, so take the black wool for yourself, get it turned into bobble hats (tooks?), and market it as your Big Billy line (or I actually like Bad Billy Gear), and there's another revenue stream, like you and Mark discussed on your podcast. Just a thought. I'd certainly buy one, because Billy is awesome!
Oh, please keep little Billy!! He will add so much to your flock (and I have fallen for his “Lone Ranger” look!). Wishing you a lovely, if lonely, Valentine’s Day! Oh, you might re-name him Ranger!
Thank you so much for making these videos. I have a small farm and this yeah I had a goat babie and a sheep babie get stuck coming out and watching you I knew what to do and saved them. Thanks so much
Do you realize that you've got dorks like me that know nothing about farming and are completely unable to feed myself, watching all your videos beginning to end like it's the worlds best sitcom?
I haven't seen in your flock Billy's girls in your podcasts . Yes oh yes please keep all of Billy's babes. The boy is exceptionally smart like I said, he'd be a great mascot companion and could earn his keep. He's got genius potential.... My heart gave this huge relief when you said you might need to hold onto him. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Bless
He could also earn his keep becoming a (post vasectomy) teaser ram like Sandy's friends use to fire up the ladies a week before breeding. How could they resist that handsome boy?
The birds aren't quiet. For us married guys we understand. You look like you know what your doing. I love these kind of videos. We always pray that the Lord will give you productive moms.
Amazing Sandi , I don’t know how you keep your eyes open . You were so incredibly hard, love seeing the babies progress . You gotta keep billy he is sweet and heck from one black sheep to another we turn out to be the best xoxox
They did Awesome!!! See you got this Girl!! Keep up the good work!! Warm hugs n good vibes sent your way!! You work hard and it pays off ❤ p.s. please keep billy he's sooooo cute ❤
Please keep the black ones they are the cutest, stress brings out friends! Moms looking very chill, the milk just needs to dry up like us moms understands! When will you separate the batch B#?
Such a beautiful group of lambs!!! And great weights!!! Sandi, you do such a marvelous job caring for your herd. We love you. My day is complete, with Sandi and her sheep!!!
So happy your happy I hope you keep little Billy he's so sweet it's a nice feeling when things work out good for you still can't wait to see babies bouncing around come on April
Ok Sandi, I am totally hooked on your vlog.... Been a subscriber for about a month & have pretty much caught up. It’s been amazing to watch your education advance as you have learned the process going through the good, the bad & the ugly. But yet you always seem to maintain a pretty positive outlook. You’re going to do great. Can’t wait to keep watching more from you. Lots of love from Texas!!! ❤️❤️❤️
*New Subscriber*👋 I have currently been bench watching your videos like crazy.😁 I live in NE Oklahoma and Currently raise Show Lambs for 4-H/FFA Kids. Your passion for sheep shows in every video and I love being able to see sheep being raised on a larger commercial scale. It is very insightful and quite a bit different from my own operation. Best wishes to "Ewe"(hehe) and your flock!🐑❤
After all you and the sheep went through with the roof, you did really well. That was so stressful for all of you. You could have lost way more lambs before even being born. I can only imagine how scared they were with that huge sheet of roof flapping in high wind. Then to see the sky and being snowed on. You were so stressed and I know they picked up on it as well. For this group to come through with such great weight gain is proof your doing things right. Question: Is there anything you can give the ewes to prevent the virus from mosquitoes?
I really hope that some of the painted lambs are ewes you can keep for breeding. They are so cute. As for Billy Jr maybe you can sell him to another farmer as a stud so he doesn’t go to market.
I am not familiar with sheep, cattle are my forte, but would there be any advantage to feeding the dry hay to your ewes a few days prior to weaning to help reduce the amount of milk produced? Just curious!! Look your Vlog!! And LOVED Mark's comment about moving to southern Saskatchewan!! That's where I'm from!!
You are such a natural at RUclips. The ease of your running commentary, the casual reiteration of information for new viewers that never comes off as repetitive, always just incredibly informative and interesting. You have truly become my favorite channel that I look for every day!
As I reached for my phone to ask you to please keep Billy’s little black & white baby.....at that moment on your video you said he might be a keeper!! He is so precious!! Please let us watch his story!!! 🎉❤️😘
Having had the opportunity to watch my Grandparents raise there cows as a kid, it is wonderful to see another individual extract the same satisfaction and joy from the farm! Love how you are educating your audience! Wonder if a drop down solid color tarp between the asiles would be enough to shield the "wieners" eyes so they flow through the gate to the other isle.
Omg been waiting for this video its made my day seeing these cute sheep growing so fast and my favourite sheep farmer you are amazing please keep the videos coming looking forward to the next video god bless you all
I love your channel. I'm not a homesteaders or Farmer but I look forward to your videos everyday. Please please keep BILLY. Congratulations on 20,000 subs
These looks the best group of lambs since I started watching. I think this second group I have seen raised. Your ewes look very good also. He is a keeper
Please Please Please Keep Little Billy!!! I know you wish to send more to market this year but keep him! He is way to cute! Or find him a new owner who will stud him maybe?
Thank ewe for letting us follow these lambs through your cycle. We are really interested in following their progress and appreciate all we are learning from ewe. Thanks for all the extra effort you put into these videos for us❣️🐑❣️
hey. you making it look like good work out of a smart lady. Happy Valentine's Day and congratulations! (LOVE THE DIE CAST TRACTOR COLLECTION BEHIND YOU!)
Please can you put a couple of buckets of water with the lambs? Plus Billy is a keeper for sure... you have done well and you should be proud of your achievements x
Suggestion for the little runt. How about giving him warm milk replacer from a bucket. Might give him a boost and help increase his weight. When my dad tried to get calves on a bottle he would train them to a bucket if they refused a bottle. Usually worked well.
Happy Valentine's Day Sandi 💘, Awesome weights on lambs......wish losing it was as fast. 🙁 Ahhh, Valentine's Day, it has good points, 💏🌹🍫 and for me, it means I had another one of these 🎂 (yesterday) 60, not sure how I feel about that yet, 😯😩😢 When my granddaughter (12) found out you aren't too far away, she was quick to ask if I would take her to see the baby lambs, & maybe even see birthing. Lol, me too, 😆
I have really enjoyed your videos Sandi pretty cool stuff & info 👍 I caught Mark video the other day 👍 hello from Daniel from central Mississippi stay safe and warm Sandi
They definitely look like fantastic healthy lambs. Those weights were really good, cannot wait to see the results from the rest of the lambs, they all look amazing. Considering this was the group that had the stress from the roof, they definitely haven’t shown an after effects (I know you did have a couple abort early on). But so far it seems to be a positive outcome. I think Billy Jnr is a keeper, as well as his siblings. Imagine what you could do if you kept their wool. Maybe you could get someone to make some Beanies, (I believe you call them a Toque) with holes for your ponytail and normal ones as well, then get your logo on it as well. Endless supply of Toques for your whole family.
I don't know anything about lambing or any kind of farming, I do live in the farming and horse world of Southeastern Kentucky, But it seems you are doing an AWESOME job with your lambs, and when it comes to that kind of work the first thing is you have to love what you do that way it's not a job, Keep up the awesome work, YOU GO GIRL .
So who wants Sandi to keep Billy? 👍
Edit: it looks like Billy needs to be a keeper. Gifting him to Belinda might be the right choice. Sandi? What do you think?
Yes keep Billy jr. Or gift him to Belinda for her flock..:-)
@@MillaRaeDeshibeau Great idea!
Feeber Izer me!
Feeber Izer I Hope one of the other but ultimately it will be Sandi’s choice. :-) Her heart is so beautiful she will make that choice. 🤗❤️

I LOVE this idea!!! I would definitely buy some Billy merch. 🖤🐑
Oh I would 100% spend a good amount of money on a hat or something made from the wool of a cute little sheep like billy
I second this! You could definitely find a way to make profit off of the wool instead of barely breaking even
This is an amazing idea!!!
I love this!!! Great idea!!
Billy lamb is definitely a keeper 🥰🥰
I was thinking the same thing. Billy is too cute to ship out.
Bonnie Campbell ..What is it about a sheep that is too cute to send to market?
@@canadianlady777 lol nothing
@@canadianlady777 all animals are cute too so nothing wrong send them to market
@@calebmanuel17 Agree. Most baby animals are cute. They are easy to love at a distance. Sandi will make the right decision, for her barn.

Exactly! She should soooo keep him!
Lol I've been calling him Abbath because he looks like he has corpse paint, even has black at the corners of his mouth like Abbath xD

Oh Sandi, you have got to keep Billy! Congrats on your hard work, it's paying off!👏👏💪💪🐑🐑
PLEASE keep Billy 2.0, he's such a good boy! You need those brains in the group 😂
Yeah! If you always put Billy and Billy Jr in the same breeding group then there would be no issues with inbreeding. 😉
Everyone is telling you to keep Billy; and I want to adopt/buy the little runt!
I want it too XD
I knew you would grow attached to Billy ! 😂
As soon as he was born is was like “she’s going to keep that one.” 😂😂🧡
Keep him we love Billy's baby's 😍

Find a casual watch for a couple couple years now. For some odd reason this lambing group has me hooked. I can't miss an episode.lol
You just gotta keep Billie, he's ! a cutie. Also, what's going to happen with the little 19 pounder?? Will he/she stay til 105 lbs?
Sandi would there be a big difference in sizes and weights if you had a heated wooden barn? Yes, cutie pie Billy 🐏 Is a keeper LOL. Have a great day.
You are always saying how proud you are of friends and family, but remember how greatly appreciated and proud we are of you. Blessings

Question: Is there anything you can give the ewes to prevent the virus from mosquitoes?
I spread mosquito bites all over the property ( they don't harm animals if ingested) that seems to help a lot.
I really hope that some of the painted lambs are ewes you can keep for breeding. They are so cute. As for Billy Jr maybe you can sell him to another farmer as a stud so he doesn’t go to market.
The best way to keep the traits you are working for is to keep your genetics and tighten them over time.
