I love my 2013 2.0t R-Spec so much. I only like the turbo 4 more than the v6 because I do a lot of city driving and I can have tons of fun even at low rpms. After adding a stage 1 tune the car is a night and day difference while still being drivable and reliable. Great car if you want a daily driver!
Ive had my 2013 2.0T for a year now. And I absolutely love it. So far ive installed a Short Ram Intake, ISR Race Exhaust. HID Kit with LED Switchback Turn signals. And LED Map Lights. Also Painted the Calipers Yellow.
That contour line down the side of the body is what caused Infiniti to piss themselves. So they redesigned the Q60 to imitate the Genesis effect. And now the new Q60 looks like it's just TRYING way too hard.
As a owner of 2013 2.0t, I love everything about the car except for how fast it depreciated. Yes, any car value depreciate as soon as you sign the paper and drive off, but my genesis worth a lot less than say 2013 fr-s which costed about the same when they were released. I just hope everyone who buys the genesis coupe, be aware of its resale value. I love everything about the car, but I want something more practical at the moment. Trading my car in will cost me about 10k loss just due to depreciation and my loan..

3:15 Not true at all, the air vents can be replaced functional hood vents and no body modification is needed due to Hyundai's prototypes actually being functional and they have pre-cut holes in the hood.
Coming from Euro vehicles, the Genesis is one great reason to start liking Hyundai. I'm always watching Euro vehicle videos and driving them too, but its the Genesis that keeps snapping my neck time after time.
Will there be a 3rd Gen. coupe (BK3)? If so, they should make the hood vents entirely functional. The ability to open them up with a switch or close them in bad weather; that would be an awesome addition to future designs.
Sorry but I think you brought the wrong guy with you. I think he's not really an enthusiast and drives a matic(but there's nothing wrong with matics). From the placements on the gauges (where he said that it's wrong-have you seen the aftermarket on the BRZ/Scion?) From the steering wheel where he defines that the buttons are distractions (If it is your car it won't distract you since you're used to it). Honestly I am eyeing to buy a Genesis but the guy did not convince me at all. Would still need further research on the car.
I LOVE MY JENNY!!!!!! Something not my fault happened to the clutch, and I have been driving sticks all my life & I had to replace it!! Dealer wanted 3k to fix it!! I got it done for 700$ which included the parts I got off eBay!! It’s hard to find parts for her!! I love her tho.......

Love my 15 genesis coupe 3.8 and i was looking at the benz c3 and c4 and also the audi s3 and s4. I really wanted the audi but they trippin on there prices, they want like 43,000 new and like 41,000 used lol smh. I got the 15 genesis coupe 3.8 Ultimate, fully specked for basically half that price!!!

I'm not sure if you've made a video showcasing the back seat and making a review on it, but I was curious on to how that looks? I'm starting to look at future possible cars and i'm stuck between the genesis and BRZ. I don't like the BRZ due to the backseats having no space at all, but the genesis coupe is like that as well.I was wondering if the genesis coupe has a little bit more room or less in the back seats? I'd like my passengers to be comfortable when we go on long drives once in a while /:
Passengers under 5'7" should fit with plenty of leg room (well, more leg room than most any coupe thanks to a 111"-ish wheel base). I have a 4 month y/o and believe it or not, he fits just fine in the center with the infant carrier clicked into the base (the coupe does have the steel baby seat latches). I don't have to sit with my seat in a weird position either and i'm 6'2". Front seats can be left exactly how you would ride in the car w/o the infant carrier in the back. As for getting a jogging stroller in the trunk, it'll fit as long as you remove the wheels which is a hassle.
Ryan's Random RideZ 370's are super quick, that's the only thing that's leading me towards the 370. Just something about the genesis I really like a lot. The decision is hard I'm all about performance, but you can make the 3.8's just as fast as the 370's

Gen coupe has a much better interior, driving position, and lots of other goodies the 370z lacks. The base model 2015 370z will just barely pull on 2015 gen coupe (3.8 R spec) by maybe a half car length, considering these are both ball park figures of $30,000 new... the genesis is a much better car in terms of bang for your buck. Plus with the money you saved buying a Hyundai, you can easily shovel some cash in the direction of a full exhaust, stickier tires etc.. HOWEVER, aftermarket wise, I would definitely purchase a 370z, they have way more options to choose from.

I love the car but I'm currently on the market looking for something that is below 16k and isn't abused which pretty much led me to look into the Veloster and Forte5. Genesis coupe will usually run anywhere from 20-25k for a 2013 model ...kinda sucks.
I just picked up a '16 for just under 25k with zero miles on it.. So i find hard to believe people are buying '13s for that much but I guess it depends on what kind of mileage your looking for but I've seen quite a few '13/'14 GCs around the 16k mark.
I ended up grabbing a 2013 Veloster Turbo...currently waiting on the new N-series to make it to the US...perhaps I'll trade up once those are readily available

CatDuckDog both are great cars but the frs is just to slow in my opinion but if power is nothing you are worried about then get the frs they do look great but if you want good power and looks then get the genesis but its whatever type of driver you are and require to be satisfied, hope this helps

Michele Snader i personally do not have any issues with my tranny but some people do have problems and you not knowing how to drive manual and attempt to learn in this car every day is the choice you will have to take but i always say if you get a sports car to get a manual but thats just me so i hope this helps and thanks for watching and commenting and welcome to the gen crew
Clay Colehouse. 4 seaters are cheap insurance. Thats why manufactures stuff little almost unusable seats in the back because it keeps insurance costs down for them and the buyer. 2 seaters are higher insurance rates.
I have 2013 3.8 gt and I fucking love it man, Mine is tuned and its awesome!!.. I don\t care if its automatic. It looks and feels so fast. Only thing with the gt you might want to reduce some weight I just tuned the suspension to reduce some weight but up to you. If it feels fast as the way it is then leave it. Most people that get the genesis tunes up their car to make it go faster and it looks a lot more sexier. don't get me wrong stock genny is still sexy but if you just tune it up it'll look sexy as fuck man.
Yes! That's what I own on a lease and I'll be sad as hell to give it back this October. I friggin' love my 3.8 GT. I put an Injen intake on it which gave it a tiny bit more pep and a tiny better mpg's too. Great car no matter what the Hyundai haters say.

I'd rather stick with my hyundai. Honestly, all I get is good compliments abt my car like "wow that's a sweet sports car and nice car. dude if you ever test in on a drag strip the stock genny's 3.8 should do 13.5 on a good day that's very good I think anyways. your famous depends on miles but if under 25k miles and is an r spec or ultimate then yes 22k is a good price but i would recomend getting a manual

I have 2013 3.8 gt and I fucking love it man, Mine is tuned and its awesome!!.. I don\t care if its automatic. It looks and feels so fast. Only thing with the gt you might want to reduce some weight I just tuned the suspension to reduce some weight but up to you. If it feels fast as the way it is then leave it. Most people that get the genesis tunes up their car to make it go faster and it looks a lot more sexier. don't get me wrong stock genny is still sexy but if you just tune it up it'll look sexy as fuck man.
Yes! That's what I own on a lease and I'll be sad as hell to give it back this October. I friggin' love my 3.8 GT. I put an Injen intake on it which gave it a tiny bit more pep and a tiny better mpg's too. Great car no matter what the Hyundai haters say.
Tim, nice man. I'm keeping it for a long time. I'd rather drive a hyundai than any other car on the road they made the genesis coupe right and affordable to that can beat 60k+ cars on the road lol.. I'd rather stick with my hyundai. People over estimate the genesis coupe but i guaranteed you they either shit on hyundai because its a "hyundai" or there excuse is because they test drove it and its slow. Honestly, all I get is good compliments abt my car like "wow that's a sweet sports car and nice car. dude if you ever test in on a drag strip the stock genny's 3.8 should do 13.5 on a good day that's very good I think anyways. I wish they kept the genesis coupe they could of put a v8 in and destroy the mustang gt, camero ss and 370z. The gas mileage for my 3.8 at lease isn't very good but what do you expect its a sports coupe and I love it!.
