So I know everyone and their mom made a cool cover of this one haha but on the facebook fan page and the comments ive seen I figured I'd give it a shot. 1:45 to 2:45 was absolutely sick dude. I used to dream to be able to play like this on electric guitar back in the day. Now I play acoustic guitar mostly and piano a lot as I got into the Beatles. I love music in general (rock, game themes, movie themes, etc.) and you are an inspiration to many Eric. Thanks man and never stop playing!

its not actually called tetris songs name is actually "korobeiniki" by ozma. its a russian folk song that the game makers used in there game tetris.
this is not a hate comment but instead a "did you know" comment
Just found that out and looked it up! Actually even in the video game it had a distinctive Russian sound to it. Pretty wild to hear "the real thing" when for years I've associated it strictly with Tetris.
It's also called Korobushka & it means street peddlers
This isn't actually korobeiniki. The Tetris theme was inspired by korobeiniki, but they are not the same.

I really like it how you make every of your "Meets Metal" Songs to something unique. The most can play a song how it is, but you always change a bit or add a solo how you like it to hear and that really makes it something special. =)

This expertly and excellently combines 2 of my favorite aspects in life: gaming as a kid and loving Metal as a teenager.
Still love both of them, but looking back fills me with nothing but warm feelings.
I know it's an old video and all, but that's just it, something that can still touch someone in such a way after 7 years (expecially in this day and age) is Rare, no, it's Legendary!

It's part of Fire and Ice by Yngwie. I wonder why he mixed it with tetris... and without giving Yngwie a credit.
He sometimes mixes other songs if they fit or the titles are related. Like he played 4 horsemen by Metallica during My Little Pony meets metal.

This is a traditional Russian song from the 1900's called Korobeiniki. The creators of Tetris had nothing to do with its composition.
