I think Ben is very good at general planning and stuff but he's not the best at executing them. He's super good when it comes to turn based stuff but not so much real time active gameplay IMO.
Hi Tom and Ben! I'm in hospital right now with a snapped leg, had to have a metal rod in it to hold it together. Love your stuff only thing keeping me sain being 3 hours from family.❤ Would of joined the live chat when you streamed but was knocked out !
Interestingly kobold & gobolin come from the same word & concept. They changed a decent amount with culture, but really changed and were kind of codified once D&D came on the scene. There's a lot of that in folklore.
Isn't Cobalt from Kobold? Because the metal is toxic and miners therefore used to die from extracting it, so the myth of the Kobold started? Did goblin come from that too?
@@oldtoby4062 Yep! And nickel is from copper-nixie- _Nix/Nixie_ being like the English _nicor:_ a dangerous, mischievous water sprite. In other word, the fae "fooled miners" into thinking "worthless nickel" was valuable copper. Goblin was influenced by Germanic _Kobold_ similar to Dutch _kabouter._ Interestingly, kabouter look like our modern English conception of gnomes. "Gnome" _(gnomus,_ coined by Paracelsus and equated to other diminutive sprite concepts like pygmy and presumably dwarf) were originally the word for a class of creatures said to move through the earth as we move through water. This would include all cthonic "fairy" creatures such as kobolds, goblins (early association with caves) Goblins early influences also include "Late Latin _cobalus_ (“mountain sprite”), from Ancient Greek κόβαλος _(kóbalos,_ “rogue, knave; goblin”)." The original English conception of the creatures who came to be called goblins was _pūca_ related to Puck, bucca, spook, bogeyman, boggle, bugbear, buck (originally goat-shaped), bogan, pox, bug (germ), and ultimately is rooted back to the PIE word meaning "grow, become, come into being, appear"-which itself is related to "to be."
i believe libel is specifically for published print, not just any written text. so it would still be slander. or you could just go with "defamation", as a general term, but technically that would require having a _good_ reputation to damage. love the weekly warhammer cast, sadly im usually missing it live.
Ben who is usualy good at games is weirdly bad at ftl. I think he forgets he can just pause and think about it, seems so rushed. Also they always shoot there beam through the shield before the laser and loose like 4-5 damage.
Could have killed the last crew member in the boss ship, and then focused where with boarding. Letting him run around and distract the bot from damaging sheild cost them the fight.
Tom and Ben saying Gnomes Gone Wild in sync is going to be my most cherished memory. Worship Frog Man and more kickstarters to come!
I salute you sir
Fucking hell, what an amazing trap to lay.
This is amazing
In honor of you 'beating them' at Kickstarter Roulette they should've named the first crewman 'FTLGobbo'
I love how Ben is both one of the smartest and smooth-brained FTL players. If he listened to Tom more it would be an unbeatable duo

you'll probably wanna look into getting a Kragnos rock for standing on as well, to help with convalescence...
Dvorak, war hero and keyboard revolutionary

The new Biovore - without the canon is a Titan for Epic
Yeah does look a bit like the old nid titans
1:25:11 It's always a little frustrating when they comment on things offscreen, but this one was something else.
Yeah I really wish they would show these things for us poor vodgobbos
That loss was earned and deserved. Misplay central all up in here when you were handed the win.
I wonder when you two are going to play more warhammers, I will inform you that there is a warhammer 3 kremlo mod, and one for nagash
Day just got better :)
i wish they did no more elves next week. wink ben i know you read these comments wink
They lie Ben, they lie!
It was just a lot of you and Tom sitting around and thinking, I like you talking not being quiet 🥲
Jeez I laughed so hard at 3:43:17
i actaully rate the nut wepons, they go through shields
For what it's worth, I'd have given What's New in Vietnam to Ben this time.

Bam
Speaking of Tom and Ben gone wild has there been a nude Yogscast calendar yet? Seems like an obvious mercy thing nowadays.
Itll be all Lydia 😂
or nothing but nude feet stepping on sandwiches...

FTL, at least for me, is uniquely hard to play distracted.

FUNNY DOORS! 🤣
Noice
oh bon
sorry but those lictors share no parts. they are all seprerate kits.
No the new lictor/neurolictor is a dual build kit. The deathleaper is the only one with a separate kit
@@ProMineStationHD i dont know how it can be though.. looking at both of them they share no parts at all. even the base is different.
Why is there “Stream” music in the first place? It’s so unnecessary and when it’s as loud as it was at the beginning it’s obnoxious!
