First, I'm a sucker for reading comments before I actually watch a reaction (well, sometimes, and it applies today). I noticed you told someone that the ATEEZ content on your Patreon is the same as what you share here, it's just on Patreon sooner and take suggestions from Patreons. I just wanted to take a minute before anything else and say THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing it that way... your time is valuable and I'd love to chip in to supporting you financially, but I just can't justify writing Patreon subs into my budget so I sincerely appreciate you bringing the rest of us along for the whole ride. I'm just speechless (so I guess it's a good thing I'm typing, not trying to talk right now). Anyway, on with watching the reaction! If you guys haven't watched the Showterview episodes with ATEEZ (one with Jessi hosting, one with Sunmi hosting), they're worth the watch as well. The introductions bit atozed uses is from the episode with Sunmi hosting, and it's hilarious to watch them... and even funnier to see Sunmi's reaction. In part 1 ~ San's reactions are probably my favorite ones, he's just so easy to scare but then turns around and does things like ask why the ghost can't sleep, tell her to stop scaring him, and tuck her back in. He's too precious. Ghost husband totally listening and not touching San while he did the makeup, and ghost bride shouting his name and saying she's ATINY was priceless. The difference in how San and Hongjoong reacted to her saying their names was funny to me -- San responded by asking what her name was, and Captain just wanted to know why she knew his name 😂 Jongho's ability to be calm in those situations just amazes me. Like, it's not just the environmental stuff, it's the way the others react that causes even more anxiety. And there our Maknae is, after the others have jumped from that first scream, exercising a scream of his own because why not? San even says Jongho's lack of reaction makes him the scariest, haha. His calmness is handy for a lot of situations, though, especially in these variety shows... you'll definitely see more of that as you watch them. I love him singing to the ghost groom while doing makeup. In part 2 ~ HJ saying he's never been frightened at all makes me wonder if he was filling in -- it sounds exactly like the answer I'd expect from Mingi. Yunho's much cooler under pressure than I'd realized, too. He was fun to watch in this part. Poor Seonghwa made me worry he was going to have a heart attack, or throw his neck out. I love that the actors felt so bad for San that they just eased him right through the whole video scare-jump experience. Yeosang's ghosts getting scared and him being literally dragged out by the butler had me laughing so hard I missed part of the next bit (had to go back to start Captain over so I could see why the poor baby wound up huddled on the floor). The actors they get for these variety shows are truly amazing. I can't even imagine trying to keep a straight face or refrain from laughing, especially when the targets react like these boys do. My favorite instant betrayal moment is actually from the PopBuzz "Tower of Truth" interview where we find out exactly why a certain member would survive a zombie apocalypse, lol.
