I just want to clear this one thing to you guys it mostly happens cause whenever any Westerners react to this kpop male idols videos in which they are very touchy and all hugging and everything people think its very sus or bromance or smthing but the thing is firstly idk in Asia but particularly in Korea the close male friends are all like this like all touchy and comfy with each other and the idols are living together with each other for years and all so its very natural for them which people make huge deal bout it all ships and stories...its their culture 😊which is very beautiful cause whenever any two girls do all these stuffs its considered cute and close but when guys do same thing they are considered sus or any kind of bromance stuffs...🙃

Yes, even in some countries where gay relationships are illegal, it’s normal for male friends to hold hands in public. I don’t know if it’s the case but it seems generally in Asia (even with the amount of different countries and culture) it’s frowned upon for male and female friends to be touchy with each other, even couples who aren’t married, so friends of the same sex are more touchy than in say western countries.
Ateez is just like a family full of brothers❤

I wanna tell you something that in korea skinship is very common like being touchy, holding hands, hugging, cuddling etc between close friends (which shouldn't be interpreted in something else )and these idols have been living together for a long time ,so they all are very comfortable and close with each other. And one more thing praising each other, expressing their love for each other and flirting with each other is also very common.

You guys are probably gonna a do the long guide, which is amazing, but please also react to the shorter guide called " A lighthearted guide to Ateez" its hilarious and informative. Probably do the long guide first, though. Also, be prepared because these guys are monsters performers with an amazing and versatile discography. Also, they are some of the biggest crackheads I've seen in Kpop they make me wheeze all the time. Make sure to read the subtitles on the funny vids since it gives context to understand. Like another said, we have to watch the guys from a non-Western standpoint. Skinship isn't a huge deal between same gender friends in places like Korea and Japan, like it is in places like the US. A US group would rarely kiss each other on the cheek just because, but for Wooyoung he does it pretty much because there is a breathing human in the same room as him.😂. That said Hongjoong and Jongho are both pretty intolerant of skinship and rarely allow it or give it.
